Im sitting here on day 3 of my countries level 4 lockdown (4 is the highest and we'll be in level 4 for the next 4 week minimum), we've been in some form of lock down for the last couple of weeks and were one of the first western nations to shut our boarders over this.

And all i can do reading this thread and others is grimy laugh and think to myself... WTF are you doing America, get your act together or your gonna have a hell of a problem on your hands... same for Britain.

Your constitution and 'freedoms' gonna mean jack unless i guess you use em to bury the dead in... and for the record im someone that thinks it would be better to let it spread in a controlled manner so as to not have to shut down the entire country (if a large portion of the old or unhealthy die so be it), but hey you have to do what you have to do... and your doing jack all.

I'm O too. Never had the flu or colds. Went through 12 years of school with perfect attendance too.

I was absolutely floored when she said "FIVE MONTHS"!!! I thought I miss heard and she says no that their ware house is shut down and basically empty and they will not be restocking the store for at least 5 months or until their warehouse is resupplied.

Now I can imagine that not many people are going to make a run on art supplies or any other of the strange stuff Hobby Lobby sells, but to have an empty warehouse for such a large chain store is disturbing to say the least. It makes me wonder how Walmart and all the various Dollar stores are going to resupply in the coming months.

Hobby Lobby has been making some very odd decisions lately (the owner's wife declaring they can stay open because she's a prayer warrior and God has spoken to her...) News stories say that employees are very unhappy.

Why does everything have to be political my girl couldn't even enjoy her birthday today because the fricken news is stressing her out saying we'll need to prepare for 10,000 new case's per day . it's gone far past political bull crap... just saying man .

I understand that but he's not going to save us with a check , we need to come together as a people and save ourselves .. It's nothing to panic over I think we will be fine - its just a glimpse at what will really happen if the SHTF for real . Politics will not save anyone .

Japan’s Enhanced Screening and Quarantine Measures for Travelers from the United States: The Government of Japan has implemented enhanced screening and quarantine measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Effective March 26, all travelers arriving from the United States, including Japanese citizens, will be required to self-quarantine for a period of 14 days at a designated facility, and to avoid using any public transportation, including taxis, trains, and buses, until after the 14-day period.  Transiting on a domestic flight within Japan is also considered public transportation, so you will not be allowed to fly to your onward destination in Japan until completing the 14-day self-quarantine. The self-quarantine location may be your residence if you live in Japan or a hotel, but the Japanese government reserves the right to “designate” the location of your self-quarantine.  Travelers should be prepared for travel restrictions to be put into effect with little or no advance notice.

First Case of COVID-19 Confirmed in Thunder Bay District
March 27, 2020 - Today, Dr. Janet DeMille, Medical Officer of Health of the Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU), confirmed the first case of COVID-19 in the TBDHU region.

A male in his sixties who resides in Thunder Bay is the first confirmed case of COVID-19 for TBDHU. His spouse is considered a probable case. The couple had recently returned from a week-long stay in Florida. Upon their return, they remained in isolation at home. Subsequently, both developed symptoms and phoned the TBDHU. They were tested the following day at the COVID-19 Assessment Center operated by the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. The man’s test result was received by TBDHU overnight on March 26. The spouse’s results are still pending and have been expedited.
