Yeah, the story has also been updated since I posted:

According to the ordinance, a curfew is imposed from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. effective 9:00 p.m. March 26, 2020. Residents, unless “exempt individuals” should stay in their homes or on their property during the curfew period.

Additionally, no person who is a resident of a state, county or city subject to a stay-at-home order or stay-at-home restriction and who is not currently physically present in Blue Ridge, Georgia is allowed to enter the city limits.

Violation of any term of the ordinance is punishable by a civil fine of $1,000 per violation.

Absolutely unreal.

I couldn't agree more! In fact, the only real number that im interested in which I see very little publicity about is the R-0. I think it's pretty important for reporters during press briefings to try and ascertain this number from the doctors on the panel. THAT is something they should have a pretty good handle on by now.

I'm not religious, but I do sincerely pray that we don't reach a point where this document, or any like it, becomes necessary or common.

sadly... this is already the way they work in most of Europe.
Those with the best chance to survive will get treatment, those who are already very old or have an underlying illness wont even be put on a ventilator and are send home to die.

It's far from humane but doctors have to make choices when resources are limited

Just thought I'd drop in and say after 11 days, I finally received the call with my COVID19 results. Negative! I pretty much already knew that since I've been feeling better for days now, but now I really know. (and it's on paper)

I would be interested to see if it was a central nervous system related failure involved. With the talk of the brainstem being affected by this virus, it true, that introduces all sorts of nasty surprises in store for us. Sorry, but rabid constitutionalists aside I am still concerned that this virus may be a lot more than "just the flu", and warrant extraordinary measures in order to reduce the numbers of people who become infected. I still think that China's initial reaction to it bears due consideration and reflection. And I sure as hell don't believe that governments in the know are telling us everything.
