odd how different some areas are, down in south Georgia as of last night we are looking to start spooling up with "risk based operations", which will be interesting to see how they plan on meeting the CDC social distancing and groups smaller than 10 guidelines.

Which will be interesting on the A-10 in phase where we have between 10 and 30 people at any one time on day shift, and if your launching the jet you are way inside the pilots bubble.

That would be such great news if type o blood is slightly more immune. My partner is still struggling and we desperately hope that his surgery is not cancelled. He is an o. I just told him that news and he smiled for the first time in days.
Now I have to head out in a snow storm and once again try and get his medication. I hope the override option that worked in South Carolina will work here too.
I shouldn't have to keep doing this and exposing myself but his need is great.

66 new cases and 33 new deaths in uk today. Looks a bit fishy, those new cases figures considering was over 600 yesterday.

Experts have been rushing to assess the spread of the Covid-19 virus, which has so far killed more than 9,300 people - mostly in the Hubai province of China.

Scientists believe Covid-19 has mutated into two strains: the older ‘S-type’ appears to be milder and less infectious, while the ‘L-type’ which emerged later, spreads quickly and currently accounts for around 70 per cent of cases. It may also be possible to be infected with both types.

In January, the World Health Organisation (WHO) estimated the current trend of the spread, analysing how many people would be infected per case.


According to early WHO estimates, the average reproductive rate (r0) of coronavirus ranged between 1.4 and 2.5. That meant, on average, each confirmed case of coronavirus would infect between 1.4 and 2.5 other people.

Any disease with an r0 of more than one will spread and need effective control measures. WHO said control measures would need to block at least 60 per cent of transmissions to be effective in keeping the coronavirus in check

Has the TSA caught even one terrorist yet. Might be time to recognize that their cost is too great a burden on this country ... and let them go. They're really really expensive to keep employed BTW.

I do agree too. You can't spread desease through Cryptocurencies.

Virus can stick to money, can't stick to something that isnt psychical.

I just checked with my local nursery. They are closing indefinitely. This has enormous implications. This is where people buy seeds, soil and gardening supplies for the spring.
Now comes food insecurity. Many around here have large gardens and do canning to carry them through the winter but having no access to any supplies...

Which will hopefully dampen the hysteria/panic, since it will reveal a much lower CFR than was previously being reported.

How many sick have been turned away from test sites?

How many sick with minor symptoms have tried to get tested when they wouldn't have given it a second thought before the hysteria started?

How many are missed because they don't meet the travel criteria or contact criteria because they got it in the general community where it is spreading?

I look forward to/welcome wide-spread testing for the above stated reason.

I also think they should work backwards, and test any/all that died of similar symptoms in the last 6 months (but that could take a while, and samples may not always be available).

Probably because most people are borderline malnourished, which is what you get from following medical dietary guidelines.

I eat extremely healthy, and take lots of super foods (spirulina, chorella, nutritional yeast, freeze dried kamut/barley/wheat/alfalfa/oat grass juices, etc)... so I have a huge store of nutrition, and don't begin 'starving' the second I stop eating.
