I agree with you completely, here the best we can hope for is to slow the curve enough so that the hospitals aren't overwhelmed. Which honestly puts us in for the long haul.

How is 11 million people not getting herd immunity 67,800 sick and nothing new today? just over 10,000 sick people in quarantine. Are they doing the same as the west no test - no case?

Leve l 2 means "don't come" if you have common sense . Currently their is not a travel ban coming into Japan from the States. I think what may happen soon is that Americans will be required to get a visa to enter Japan.

I just decided to create an account but I've been visiting the site for over 3 years now.

Crazy times for Mexico too. We're currently in the containment phase.The government is basically telling us to stay at home but a lot of people are not complying.

Schools, stadiums, music festivals, gyms, casinos are being shut down. Curfews in bars, restaurants and public gatherings as well.

Home office is a new tendency now but not all of the labour here in Mexico is eligible because of the type of work they do. Multiple Factories/Businesses head-staff/owners won't let their employees leave unless the situation gets real.

118 confirmed Covid-19 cases. The majority are people that got infected outside of Mexico. Mostly in Europe and USA.

The first Covid-19 death has been reported a couple of hours ago today.

Multiple sources claim that a second one will probably happen in the next hours. The problem about this second one is that he was an attendee from last weekend's Music Festival "Vive Latino" which reached over 110 000 attendees.

Mexico is about to get interesting. We are definitely not prepared for an outbreak.

I was just waiting for my employers to give us a home office green light and leave Monterrey (the city i currently live at) to stay away from the craziness that's about to happen over here. Id rather stay at my Small hometown than live in a big city right now.
