I get this post—I do—I've just accepted in the last month that we're all going to get it. COVID-19 is part of our viral ecology. I'll prepare on my own time, but in the meantime, I'm not going to live what's left of my normal life in fear. Stay strong and be vigilant, but don't live in fear.

I always put 1lb mozzarella cheese blocks in the freezer first. If thawed in fridge, is perfect.
If you thaw it in the uWave, it gets crumbly. Haven't tried others, but think cheddar didn't freeze well.

I suppose one problem now is that they can't really stimulte the market by dropping rates.

But yeah I think the mutation idea is real - it seems to be a little different in Italy and then Iran is its own entity (if local reports are to be believed)

China shutting down the lab that sequenced the genome is hugely worrying. Not only does it hinder efforts to find a cure/vaccine but looks soo suspicious. But that nugget of info will not be even discussed en mass by the MSM and our govt.
Maybe they know the truth already. I bet they do.

My mind thinks that maybe someone in government sent Dr Cottrell that text knowing he would obviously reveal it to his followers and it would get picked up online. But that's what they want. Because then they could gauge the reaction of the masses and plan accordingly...

It could be true they have plans to quarantine but I would also agree that surely that requires huge military blockades in cities like San Fran? It's not just 1 road in and 1 road out like the italian areas.

Does anyone have numbers from the early days of the 1918 flu epidemic? R0, mortality rate, spread rate, etc? It would be an interesting comparison to what we are seeing now.

I remember seeing online somewhere that Italy had changed their reporting of cases recently - once due to WHO guidelines who said that cases need to be verified at both local and then national level - and they wanted to see only the 'official national' numbers - it seemed to me like they wanted to suppress the reported numbers. I think Italy complied with this - but my god the numbers have continued to rise anyway.

But then I saw a couple days ago that Italy is only reporting cases with symptoms - and STILL the numbers are huge.
I can't find a link right now- has anyone seen this ?
