Wife is pregnant with our first so this has been on my mind the whole time. The only thing I can find about pregnancy and the virus is very grim. In basically every outbreak we've ever had.

I've been worried about my dog. He's come down with something, hacking cough, vomiting and off his food.

Visit to the vet if he's still the same next week.

I've been completing starting a new OP on what I have read.
All peer reviewed, all from health sciences.
All not good.
I'm resting up from work and my recent 18 hour drive to get here.
That, and moving my stuff into my apartment.
After laundry and KP, I'm heading to the local grocery store.

The aca works great for me.

I am so thankful to obama that I have it right now.
And romney and clinton because they helped write it.

If not for the aca I would have colon cancer and not know it. And I might get this new virus on top of that.

I think my comment was missed a couple of pages back since this has exploded -

REGARDING THE KING COUNTY CASES!!!! Maybe the caps will help? I watched a local livestream from Seattle around noon my central time. The camera was on before she gave her report and she seemed very nervous. They were having some technical issues then once they straightened that out she started her official report in front of Evergreen Hospital. SHE said.... TWO people came in YESTERDAY... having trouble breathing. One of those two people died today and the other is now in isolation. She didn't give any other identification... age or gender of if they were TOGETHER or two separate cases.

They both came to the same hospital so they aren't the same people who have been discussed before.

Having worked as a US govt contractor before under DHS, I understand the press conference in a different way than others. What I got out of it;

They’ve been working on this Much longer than we thought

dr Anthony is not being muzzled

They have plans and are utilizing the state health agencies (great move IMHO)

In Project Management speak = Plan, Do, Check, Act is in place and being used.

They probably are downplaying but there’s been one death confirmed

They know something about the China situation which they are not saying, whatever it is, it’s big maybe a game changer

And finally...

Anyone rating their performance is doing themselves a disservice. There is no comparable situation with which to compare their performance. Trump said it.

If you wanna compare their performance to your perception, that’s fine but your wasting mental headspace you could be prepping with.

Yes I agree a thread for "just third hand info" would be a great idea! It would clear up a bunch of posts in here and keep this one for sourced updates. Id love to hear any third hand info as Im sure most of us would.

The residents are likely to die....as they are old....
