I live in Camden. I knew it was coming, but i had no clue it would land in the middle of our small town of 7k people. We have 8 of the 12 cases in SC and that's scary to think of. We really don't have that many convenience or grocery stores so I'm constantly wondering where it's safe to go. Probably nowhere.

They canceled the Carolina Cup. That was a very sobering oh #### moment for quite a few of us. Nothing stops the Cup!!!!! I've seen people soaked through with rain in their fancy dresses and hats, button ups and ties still out there partying.

Update from Costa Blanca and my earlier posts. Went to local Supermarket this morning at 9am to get some final prep top up items so we are covered for 3 months. The car park and place was full with 20m queues to check outs. Managed to get the last few bags of rice and potatoes etc etc. So its begun. All very friendly, wonder how long that will last.

We are going lock-down at 2.30pm today. Schools closed and virus case numbers rising like Italy did.

President Alberto Fernández declares health emergency in Argentina, mandatory isolation for 14 days for those people considered suspicious cases -one man in Córdoba province violates his quarantine and now is in his home with the police in his door-, restrictions to prevent price-gouging on items such as alcohol hand-gel and face masks, establishing maximum prices and suspension of shows in Buenos Aires City. Some provinces suspended school classes, but the majority don’t.

Still 31 cases with 1 one death -a man that test positive after dead, he came from France but had other serious health conditions-.

Today is the last day of school for my kids before we begin our voluntary lock in.

I see as of this morning several states have closed all schools. Anyone have any word on New York State? Since we are so hard hit here, I would have thought we would have been one of the first, but I guess not.

Prem league have just cancelled all matches till April 4th. I guess it's a good thing but feel they could have played behiond closed doors this wk/end and then cancelled.

Michigan has closed schools for 3 weeks stating Monday. It wasn't announced till late last night

Netherlands 12th of march 2020:

614 'known' cases, expanding very fast. They admitted they can't contain it, which is obvious if you ain't doing s..t about it.

Atleast they are expanding their so called 'quarantine' over the whole of the Netherlands, not just Brabant. But everybody is still out, doing their thing. Out buying toilet paper :/

Looking at the numbers, doing some math, we are on par with Italy.

First it was 40 new 'known' cases per day, now it's 100+ new 'known' cases per day. How many unknown cases we have per day?!? Who knows.

At 14:00 (GMT +1) they (RIVM) will inform us about the new stats.

They are admitting the fact that they cannot contain this bug, read the article here. In dutch so translate when needed.

Good job they're in lockdown but unfortunately many from there spread it about to other Country's!

First confirmed case on Driver of London Underground Tube today aswell... that means many tube passengers will have this by now. Get ready for a burst in confirmed cases in London.

just heard from an aquaintance that the US military isnt immune from the crazy either, first thing cleared in Aviano air base was Toilet paper then everything else.

At moody yesterday I went in for some comfort stuff we were almost out of and yep TP was almost gone, and we had the longest lines I have seen in this place over the last 6 months.

I will say so far I am impressed with South Georgia and their response as cases slowly climb, information is made available they seem to be making reasonable decisions with no major over reactions.
