Is this really necessary?
Unreal.
Yes
I've been following since thread one and what you are saying does not sound made up at all to me.
The bug is particularly lethal in Italy. Nearly 30 percent of the population is over the age of 60. Italy also has an inferior healthcare infrastructure, according to experts. Combine those two factors and you have the situation you now have in Lombardy: too many very sick patients, not enough beds, and doctors being forced to decide who lives and who dies.
But what's happening in Italy is an object lesson in how not to handle an epidemic. Apparently, there is no strong, central authority for healthcare. Regional directors are in charge and they're not always on the same page. The critical initial response to the disease was haphazard and not coordinated well with Rome. This led to several points of entry for the coronavirus -- too many for health authorities to deal with.
Italy has taken the draconian step of quarantining 16 million people in the northern provinces. But news of the quarantine leaked and thousands of people in the north fled to the south to avoid it. That means that southern Italy -- which is even less prepared to handle and epidemic -- is now in the crosshairs of the disease.

Wow. This basically confirms what my gut was telling me since the first week of February.

In Italy it seems to be hospitalising the young and healthy in intensive care at the same rate as the elderly,
Really?
Accoring to Italy's National Health Institute:
"The average age of deceased and positive COVID-2019 patients is 81 years, they are mostly men and in more than two thirds of cases they have three or more pre-existing diseases."
staff are already collapsing from exhaustion while on shift and its barely begun with a 6% fatality and 9% intensive care rate so far which is around double the rate China was reporting.
Obviously, it is bad there. But that doesn't mean it will be that bad everywhere.
Can you not see that Italy is an anomaly?
The first people to succumb to any disease will always be the weakest - people who are ill already, the old etc.
To look at that early stage and try to extrapolate out from there that only the old and ill will die is the sign of the utmost stupidity.
You all need to WAKE UP.
I'm telling you this, on this conspiracy forum because I assumed you'd be the ones to get that, take action and save yourselves and your family.
In an ironic twist it seems seems when the stuff hits the fan and everyone else is hunkering down to work out how to survive, you lot want to stick your fingers in your ears, your heads in the sand and believe the MSM when they say it's a cold bug.
You really couldn't make it up.

That's for sure. This virus is a tool and the real numbers in China are probably staggering.

We havn't been told the truth from the beginning about this virus from China, which was created in a Lab in China!
Look what they've done around the World!
I think the Government need to stop everything now which involves mass gatherings before its too late and all flights need to be stopped. WHY ARE THEY WAITING???

~ I only read the 2 last pages for info~
no new news that reviews of recent studies... essentially reverse the conclusion that COVID19 is NOT an Airborne Virus
the radius of breathing in a contamination is now 14 feet not the old measure of 3 feet
so, this is another reason that the 'numbers' of COVID sick/infected/fatalities/recovered are all a mish-mash.... the 'goal posts' of 'numbers' and 'airborne' are changing daily.... what we were certain about yesterday is no-longer factual/true
I suggested weeks ago that the Pathogen was likely 'Airborne' & causing the Unexpected infections that spring up hundreds of miles away from any community-cross infections..... with people that lived in isolation or no contact with people/carriers/foreigners getting tested positive for COVID19 and showing symptoms
the Jet Stream air current could pick up spittle in Wuhan China and drop that specimen , on a ham sandwitch in Ames Iowa...& the eater suddenly gets CV symptoms from the Airborne disease
keeping an open mind

The Stafford Act is a 1988 amended version of the Disaster Relief Act of 1974. It created the system in place today by which a presidential disaster declaration or an emergency declaration triggers financial and physical assistance through the Federal Emergency Management Agency[3] (FEMA). The Act gives FEMA the responsibility for coordinating government-wide relief efforts. The Federal Response Plan includes contributions from 28 federal agencies and non-governmental organizations, such as the American Red Cross.
In 2015, the Stafford Act was used in an episode of House of Cards as a way for President Frank Underwood to fund his signature jobs program, AmericaWorks.

This is huge. The rodeo brings in millions of dollars of revenue to the Houston economy; definitely not a decision taken lightly.

I get it now, talk about fake news, this is a fake conspiracy website.
What most of you are, are children - like huddling round a camp fire telling each other ghost stories, but even if the hairs on the back of your neck stick up it doesn't matter, because you all know deep down the rubbish stories you tell aren't real.
But when something real DOES pop up - you don't want to know, you want to run away and hide and deny it's true, because it's something you're going to have to face and deal with - but you don't want that.
You prefer to pretend about space aliens, and ghosts, and government conspiracies - and then all of the people who laugh at you with your wild madness, who you deride for not getting it - when they ACT when something real does happen - you laugh at them and deride them and say "that could never happen, the gubment will look after us".
It's scaremongering, it can't be true.
Please mommy - will you tuck me in and tell me a nice bedtime story.
