If you can try to buy something like this. I bought these at the hospital. Patients and most staff wear this type of masks.
Feb. 1st I bought a box of 10- 3m n95 face masks expecting a run on them. I should have bought more.
I was also picking up a couple of boxes of 10 surgical face masks similar of what you have in the pic. I believe I have 4 or 5 boxes of those.
I simply did not have hoarding in mind. I have a family of 5 and I figured I needed a little amount to get us through should we need them. I feel that if it gets bad enough, I still don't have enough.
It is what it is. Every single hardware store, pharmacy, or any other place that carries n95 masks are all sold out.

For those with a small supply of N95 masks or those with only regular dust masks:
Line the inside of those masks with Kleenex brand Virus tissues
They claim to kill a virus within 20 minutes if I’m not mistaken
Added protection can’t hurt

I'm going to just start wearing my PAPR system around my lab everywhere now.
I have horrific asthma, and take all sorts of steroids and medication just so I can breath on a good day.
Pretty much GG for me if I roll that dice.
While everyone is attacking VP Pence he did guide the efforts to stop a drug needle borne HIV outbreak in spite of Indiana state law prohibiting state needle programs, he was able to leverage the CDC to get it done. He also worked with an Ebola case IIRC.

A friend in DHS also tipped me that the EO for it is done.

You may want to check on what size of particulate it will filter down too. CoVID19 is 125 microns and N95 et N100 only filter down to 300 microns. I'm pretty sure the PAPR will filter down to the same 300 microns.
