COPS SUCK!!!

They're a bunch of stinkin PIGS!!! There, I said it.

Granted, I am 100% sure that not all cops are bad. Problem is, not one of the "good guys" has ever had the privilege of "serving and protecting me." So I say cops suck.

No, I am not a criminal for those of you who seek a lame explanation for my opinion. Yes, I have been pulled over and received tickets. That's pretty normal, right?

What's wrong is that I have been frisked for absolutely NO reason at all!! Maybe it was a DWB, I don't know. I know I have been questioned as a robbery suspect whose description was totally different from my appearance. I then saw the same pigs question another dude who looked totally different from me and the supposed suspect. BTW, both of us are black.

I see cops harass people all the time. Hell, they harass homeless guys about once a week here. I think that's bull, these people are already homeless, just let them be. And the one time a cop had an opportunity to really help me, he didn't serve me. But I'm sure if I actually had committed a crime he woulda been all over me.

One of my co-workers had her radio stolen out of her car, AT WORK! She calls the pigs and they tell her that someone will be out in an hour. Damn near 2 hours later, a pig finally shows up. When they stole my cd player out of my car, the pigs told me that there was nothing they could do. I asked the lazy bastards to come dust my car for prints, and the pigs say that it wouldn't really do anything. Wow, great service.

My cousin had his car stolen once. When he showed up at the pig station to report it, they ran a warrant check on HIM! Wait, I thought he was the victim here.

Bottom line is, pigs suck. But, they are very tasty!

i have been busted twice (robbing a gun store and selling weed).

in the first incident, the pigs opened up the car door and orderd me to run after my initial visit to the judge. they TOLD me to run, im sure so they could shoot me in the back.

the second time, the one for weed, the cops kept the good weed and busted me with the schwagg (low quality marijuana).

in the second incident i had a gun to my head even though i was obviously unarmed, and hancuffed before i was arested.

i dont know if all cops are corrupt, but every one i have ever dealt with was.

Well....If you're robbing a gun store, regardless, I think I'd expect a little hostility and rash thought from just about anyone in the general vicinity....The only person to blame for their reaction was yourself...

As for the weed - That sucks....I'd hate to get busted and then have all my friends find out it was over some regs....lol - I don't care how careful you think you are when it comes to selling illegal substances though - Everyone runs the chance of getting caught - From the people who do it in the streets to the people who only let people they truly trust swing by the house for a minute or two....

To me, playing with the odds isn't quite a fair gamble....and if you have a particular distaste for the po po, then the natural reaction should be to limit the activities your participate in which can cause a potential run-in.....

I didnt feel as if when I was in the uniform this was the case I always followed force progression , less lethal to most lethal , and tazers while they carry a risk rate like this in the sceme of things

hands
offensive chemical spray ir pepper of mace sprays
baton /pr24 or asp ......asp being the telescoping metal baton I carried
tazer
side arm
long arm
swat team
tank
nuke

so simple common since dictates that all people are not the same , to catagorize all who wore the uniform as the same is showing bias, and stereotyping, both of which are neither intelligent or usefull,

I would venture to guess the ticket issue provoked this, more than a concern on combat tactics. The tactics were just thrown in to make a vein effort of justifing this persons distain for the police.

i was unarmed and in a police vehicle in custody, give me a break. attempted robbery is grounds for attempted murder by your logic.

and yeah, i was given maximum bail strait no bond - that is as hostile as they are allowed to under by the law that they are supposedly upholding.

also, eventually i was found innocent of everything but 1 misdomeanor charge, whouldnt it be nice if they had shot me? for a frigging misdomeanor...

I know this is the stupidist question on earth but did your or your attorney go to IA about your issue. Now Im not saying IA always does what they are supposed to in fact I have seen an IA guy question a man before and then behind closed doors joke with the officer and go as far as tell the violating officer keep up the good work, but if you did go to IA my next suggestion will be helpful, Go to the local news and make an appeal for anyone who has experienced issues with the officers in question to come forward and file a class action lawsuit in federal court.

for the gun store incident my lawyer was happy to get me aqquited and i was happy to get outof jail. the media was actually against me because after all guilty untill proven innocent.

they went as far as to say that i had robbed several gunstores using the 'crash and dash method', even though my MO was not even close to that.

nope, once i was out of jail i just decided to stay out of jail.

and no, i did not go to jail for the pot incident. just a holding cell, processing, then ROR directly after.

just thought it would be worth a try ,but given this info if you can feel satisfied with the results then I agree with you and your attorney and say cut the losses.

Man i know a few cops, and not all are bad, in fact one is a very good friend of mine and you couldn't meet a nicer and sweeter girl. However, i have seen serious BS, misuse and abuse of force.

I tired of going through the stories but I had one friend cross eight mile 10 feet outside the crosswalk, a cop run a red light, and then give him a jaywalking ticket. i have also seen cops mace friends that were handcuffed and in one case restrained in a chair and made to sit and suffer. ( the reason for being restrain was for merely telling a cop that the law was a responsibilty and not just a job) The one who was restrained also has permanent eye damage.

I have also seen a cop car riding half on the curb and half on a major street(anyone to the suburbs of detroit hear of Gratiot?). When the car passed by and turned down the street, still half riding the curb mind you, the driving officer had a 40 in one hand the wheel in the other. The passenger officer had a cigar( Even though i believe it was something else.)

But not all officers are bad.

These are all true concerns I agree and it angers us who try to do our best to do things in the right way and even the best of us have a bad day , the problem is when we have a bad day we must remember that our actions can cause harm and sometimes , sadly and very sadly at that , man fails in his dealings but I cant see any way to justify sudition like you described here.

Unfortunately some bad apples slip through but they cant be removed unless people stand up and fight for it. Not one person but as a group you know safety in numbers .

Physcology is a dangerous thing
when you give a physcologist a badge and a gun you call them a POLICE (peace?) Officer....

There's this lovely thing called Physcology and when it came around there were these people... we'll call them Pharisees... they decided that since they have this amazing knowledge of the workings of man, and how is mind quarks they took it upon themselves to cleanse the world.. and install what is now called religeon.. or "proper physcology" the problem with these pharisees are they don't understand that the mind has free-will (DUH!) and that even though someone might be messed up, they aren't like that forever...

I have an example to present.. please follow and I hope you understand.

If you're in a bad mood the last thing you usually want is someone to point out that fact... correct?
What does pointing it out do?...
Well that's simple...
It makes you MORE angry....

If we want the world to fix itself.. we need to do just that... LET "IT" fix itself... we need to abstain from this place and our ideals of right and wrong, and the wrong will finally become evident. For no one truly good stays evil when they are not bothered.

Who cares about the end of the world.. I'm more interested in its beginnings... How we decided what was what, and how we coped with the emotional traumas, we had to train ourselves dramatically to keep pushing on, especially without technology. Watching everyone around you die and still looking forward to the future.. Perhaps we should all take something to change our perceptions and put ourselves in the shoes of our true forefathers.

I agree with most of this and would even go as far as to say the crusades where the same thing and the present day religious wars are to , police states based on religious rights and regulations have raught nothing but misunderstanding and death for the existance of man. However God has asked us not to dwell on the past but to understand the coming things lest we repeat the past , only by knowing the past deciding not to live it and putting it behind us may we find the things we are meant to do ,

THAT (italisized) might have set them off. See, generally, when you're stealing guns, that means they might be loaded. I'm sorry if the officers didn't treat you with respect out of fear of perforation.

in the first incident, the pigs opened up the car door and orderd me to run after my initial visit to the judge. they TOLD me to run, im sure so they could shoot me in the back.

Clearly! After your initial visit to the judge for a firearms felony, they told you to run, not because they wanted you out of their car, but because they wanted to shoot you. Ever occur to you that it would be much easy to ride you out somewhere remote, whip out a .22 and put into the back of your head? Your hostility comes from the fact that these guys are trying to stop your criminal enterprise.

the second time, the one for weed, the cops kept the good weed and busted me with the schwagg (low quality marijuana).

let me guess, they were searching you and the OFFICER foudn your weed and stuffed it in a pocket. That must mean it's keeping it for himself. If he were busting you for it, we would have thrown it somewhere else aside from his convinient and out-of-your-reach pocket!

in the second incident i had a gun to my head even though i was obviously unarmed, and hancuffed before i was arested.

Let's see...an officer runs your name, sees attempt robbery of a GUN STORE... what's he going to do, take your word on it? No, he's going to search you nice and thorough, and keep you at gun point incase you got any nasty tricks ready.

i dont know if all cops are corrupt, but every one i have ever dealt with was.

It's hilarious hearing how all police are corrupt, especially from people on the other side of the thin blue line. You've never been an officer. You don't know what it takes, dealing with a hostile public. Dealing with the dregs, the wifebeaters, petty thieves and crackheads. Goign out each night, and knowing that some punk with a .45 would end your life to duck a 70$ ticket.

Judge not, lest ye be judged.

Damn, poor service. I guess next tiem, they'll drop whatever they're doing- taking dealers off the street, arresting gang members, trying to solve murders- and run right to your rescue!

Hey, let me ask you this...do you touch the inside of your car?

If the answer is yes, then your prints are EVERYWHERE!

Does anyone else ride in your car, and touch it?

Then their prints are in there too!

So, the police could spend six hours sifting through prints -if your willign to give up yours- to get a possible suspect instead of preventing your neighbor from beating the piss out of his wife. great use of time.

As for your associate who got their warrants ran when they went to the station, you soudn shocked. Jesus, man. They run your warrants when they pull you over. GASP! Cry me a river. If you haven't done anything wrong, then you should be fine.

Mayhaps next time, before you start whining about the people keeping you safe at night do their jobs, why don't you try walking a mile in their shoes?

Petty or small claims crimes unfortunately dont always result in arrest therefore they dont have the man power to dust every time someone asks, it not right I know but its logictics and economics that plays into this man power would have to be double what it is just in forensics for them to dust however they should have just told you the truth they dont have the man power to dust rather than blow you off.

Now onto the issue of delayed response there is a priority listing and in the sceme of things misdemeanor car burglary is not at the top of the list so yes you got delayed service but say that officer just came from an agrivated burglary where in a old lady was hurt and tied up , which would you rather they be working, a petty case or a major felony with life at risk,

Its never comforting to have to wait when you ask for help but unfortunately that is unavoidable.

People dont see things like this though...they want help...they want it now...its as simple as that...Ive recently been told by a victim...wait...let me explain this story...we got a call for a male stabbed...we come flying from the other side of the precinct...we get there...and yes...a male is stabbed...first thing we do...I ask who did it (discription and direction of flight)...and my partner calls for an ambulance...i was at the scene less then 2 minutes after recieving the radio run...what does his friends say (he was in front of his house)..."Why arent you guys calling for an ambulance..."...mind you that was the first thing my partner did...then we ask...how long ago it happened...the response...20 minutes...yes....he waited 20 minutes to call 9/11....and then get mad that I dont have an ambulance there miraculously...we didnt get the guy that day...because in 20 minutes...he could have been anywhere by then...BUT we did catch the guy 2 weeks later...what Im basically trying to sum up is that for the most part....its a very thankless job...even if you do everything correct...people will still hate you...

brother they just look at it from their point of view which one of emotion driven , fear anger and dought, they if in the shoes we have been in , would be able to understand the behind the scenes things that a person with a cool head can do and they not even know it , but whatever if a life is saved thats all that matters, I will take the lumps atleast they are alive to give them to me though.

obviously you have never been busted.
they give you a receipt for everything they take. they gave me a receipt for my schwagg, not my KB. 2.5 ounces of high grade marijuana is missing from my court case on paper.

yes, the cop could just take me to a remote location and dump me. however, since i was in a cop car, and known not to be armed, there is no possible way they could get away with it. if i RAN howevr, it would be another story.

i was aquitted of all but one charge, i stated this already. the one charge was 'conspiracy' and was sealed. the police did not run my name before they cuffed me.

Judge not, lest ye be judged.

you just judged the hell out of me there buddy, the thin blue line grows wider...

actually I was busted as a juvenile for misdemeanor one count of arson to a trash dumpster and have the scars on one wrist from the hand cuffs to prove it, the officer twisted the cuffs he said to control me from flailing around , but you know something I never denied all through this there are some problems but all of us on both sides need to join together as a group to fight it , not just the disgrunteled customers of poor customer service, and yes that is a true analysis , law enforcement is a buisnes and one with the lowest customer service satisfaction rate in the history of careers except for where Bush is involve his is worse.
