vegabond, If i were to give all the examples that happend to me then you would just reply, that there just bad in my area. I have moved around since i was young and its a trend that is everywhere not just in my area. As far as sending a letter, whats that going to do? Can you imagine the pile they have allready. somebody metioned a book to read. I dont even have to read it to know what it says. same crap, different day, different cop. Weve heard a few stories right here that are not right and were just a hand full of people. Can you imagine the amount of stories about crooked cops if every person in the country was asked, Wow that would be overwelming. the basic truth is we live in a country that is named for "the land of the free" that is true if you are a cop.
no such thing as a good cop, prove it. we can prove the bad ones which if you have read any of my earlier posts thats not very hard. the ? is can you prove that there is any good cops left ? prove it. you cant, its impossible. if he\she is good cop then there probably just good at covering up the bad things

They have....
but the bad apples still seem to make it in.
I just remember something. There was a Florida Highway Patrol Office that shot a truck driver some 10 years ago that was burning to death in a wrack.
The Trouper could not get to the man do to the fire and wracked truck. The man was screaming in pain. It was said that he would have died form the fire but the Trouper could not stand seeing the man go in pain like that.
That Trouper was later charged with Manslaughter and put in jail. Was he a good Cop or crooked bad cop?
P.S Sorry I am to lazy to look up the info..... I am know there are some old news links to this. The older I get the more I forget about the past.
Just things now days move so fast!

There's an old saying:

"It takes two to tango."

You claim you get nothing but rough treatment. What kind of attitude do you give the cops? A trend is a trend, true, but what is it a trend of? It is a trend of corrupt, vice-ridden, power-junkie cops? Or is it a trend of you reinforcing negative stereoptypes with negative behaviour.

Your statements on this thread show a trend. A trend of casually dismissing any point you don't agree with and continually referring to all cops as corrupt. If this is indicative of how you deal with cops to their faces then no wonder they treat you like crap. It's how you treat them.

To get respect, you have to give respect.

Though I agree that many cops abuse their authority in one sense or another I know that there are good cops out there as well.

Interesting thing is, there is a psychological profile on cops and it takes a certain type of personality to go into that field.

Philip Zimbardo did a study on people in positions of authority in a mock prison.

www.dushkin.com...

he had to stop the study early because of the ensuing abuses...

fascinating really.

Sadly, I can also say that I have been pulled over in Baltimore… I think it was because of how I look. I drive a nice truck, I got pulled over and when the cop came up to the window said.. Hola, something else in Spanish… I just looked at him confused and told him that I don’t speak Spanish… I actually studied Japanese. I do have a Spanish heritage but… I am also English, French, Welsh and Danish.

He looked vaguely surprised at my total lack of any accent whatsoever (theater major, lot of voice classes) made some stupid comment about my plate being dirty and let me go.

Why does a crackhead smash your window and steal your crappy stereo or stab you for you jacket? Why does the IRS & "System" in general screw everyone out of their money as do the politicians and bankers as well? Why does the P.O.S Egotist in the BMW drive too slow without changing lanes or allowing you to pass? Or your "Drama Queen Ex-Old Lady" try and screw all your friends cause she's pissed at you?

With power comes responsability.... and i dont see no responsability what so ever from the law system.
It's turning into a childish 4 yr old school bully tatics law system..
why this, why that, but why 90 days? you tell me...

why do top ranking people only get to decide what goes into parliment?
why cant the public be parliment..? it would be much suffient.

Tell me why these questions are the way they are?
why do we have a ministory of defence?..
why do people get forced to stop inventing "free energy" machines?

My thought..
they strive on power and greed, and the abillity to control mass ammounts of people. If im wrong.. then why are people in top ranks so para?.
