If you say so... I refuse to vote for a lying pig legged idiot that sees me as her number one enemy. How stupid would I have to be to do that? There's a real threat to our lives, all of our lives, out there, and it's not Conservatives and global warming. Would you vote for me if I considered you my enemy?
If there was a chance that I could stop all muslims from entering the country until we got this problem fixed, in order for you to feel safer, would you want me to drop out of the presidential race? Less than a month ago, people were crying for Carson to drop out of the race because he was mean too. Face it man, people on your side just don't want confrontation or someone that might say something mean to a minority. You guys can bash and belittle right wingers all day long though. Y'all can dish it, but you sure as hell can't take it.

So if you're not scared, why do you support the banning of his presidential run?
Is that a real question?
Nobody has banned his run. We're questioning the man himself - not his rights

Does anyone here that disagrees with Trumps idea of closing off the country to Muslims, have a better idea to protect Americans from a (Islamic) terror attack?
We here politicians talk constantly about protecting the country and it's citizens.
If we are actively at war with a certain type of individual, wouldn't make sense to keep that type out of the country?

I've been feeling the same way about the polarization. I have a serious feeling that another Democrat is going to win the Presidential election again, exposing that the hateful rhetoric of even the mainstream GOP candidates isn't going to get them elected anymore. This will herald in more years of increasing divisive politics. At some point that divisiveness needs to be addressed or it will boil over into violence.
When your number one enemy is your political opponent, that's what happens. Anyone who truly thinks hillary is the answer is more or less supporting the future violence because so far it's her and obama that think the right are their #1 enemy. That's their greatest threat along with global warming. How a person can't see that ridiculousness is beyond me.
Are there any Hillary supporters on this site? I'm yet to see one. Plus, I agree with Krazyshot. I haven't thought of muslims at all today until I started reading ATS. I won't say I haven't noticed an issue. But I don't wake up fearing for my life and don't think banning all muslims is the right answer. Sorry I keep adding to the post, but banning all muslims would be the same as banning all christians. The extremists of each of the religions spread hate in similar ways.
I can see you agree with KrazySh0t. Both of you act like I said y'all are hillary supporters. But y'all are both krazy if you think she's not going to be the other choice. You'll have to choose one. I don't wake up fearing muslims, nor does anyone else I would assume. The problem y'all are missing is that we already have enough extremists here. Keeping muslims from entering into America until we fix this problem is a very good way to assure Americans that no more than we already have will be coming here. It's a very, VERY simple concept.
WASHINGTON — In the 14 years since Al Qaeda carried out attacks on New York and the Pentagon, extremists have regularly executed smaller lethal assaults in the United States, explaining their motives in online manifestoes or social media rants.
But the breakdown of extremist ideologies behind those attacks may come as a surprise. Since Sept. 11, 2001, nearly twice as many people have been killed by white supremacists, antigovernment fanatics and other non-Muslim extremists than by radical Muslims: 48 have been killed by extremists who are not Muslim, including the recent mass killing in Charleston, S.C., compared with 26 by self-proclaimed jihadists, according to a count by New America, a Washington research center.
Those are lone wolves that aren't supported by Christians, lol.
lol
America has enough problems. Right-wing extremist sovereign citizens, muslim extremists, gangs, drugs, etc
Why on Earth would you compound those problems by letting more possible extremists into this country?
You're overlooking the big picture so you can insult religion.

Yet his support and numbers continue to increase while you continue to talk about him being consistently devoid of actual facts. I'd rather the lie of a thousand dancing muslims than the lie of a video being responsible, or if you like your plan you can keep it, period. Did the dancing muslims comment hurt you? Because not keeping my original plan that I liked hurt my finances.
So what you pretty much said here is that you have no problem with liars and will support one as long as the lies support your confirmation bias. What makes you any different than a rabid Hillary supporter?
Not much.
That position lacks integrity, honesty and intelligence.
It's probably safe to say that you've got comprehension issues.

Ban? A lifetime never let any in for the rest of time ban?
Nope. A pause. To find out how we can prevent another terror attack by misguided people. Take religion out of it. These people were able to circumvent the policies in place to enter the country, live for 2 years and kill 14 people.
They immigrated here. If they would have been vetted you would have seen connections from both of them including the parents of the man who was a citizen. If you travel to countries where extremism exists, which is the entire ME, then when you return you should be questions. Does not matter your religion.
We are all arguing about if Trump is Hitler, which religion is right....when we should be asking how this can be stopped? Our government has failed and in this political season, he is simply saying what a lot of people in the US as asking, regardless of religious belief.
3 people who escaped extreme violence based in religion were shot and killed in CA by a person she worked with and knew. It was indiscriminate. That is the problem and what the collective should be discussing.
Remember, they wanted the sheep to think this was workplace violence again.
I guess you missed it.

Yea no #! It's basically showing that many Americans will listen to rhetoric over substance. Not surprising since I've called out parallels to Trumps rhetoric laced "make america great again" campaign to Obama's "hope and change" campaign.

Where did I ever endorse Hillary? This topic is about Trump.
Perhaps your guilty conscience? I never said you endorsed her. Don't deflect about the topic.
Hey, you brought her up and start talking like I was endorsing her or something. And NOW you are accusing me of going off topic when you brought her up in the first place. Wow. You are just a pillar of terrible arguing techniques...

No, you're the scared guy. Calling everyone else scared.
Trump supporters are the ones wetting their panties everytime someone says the word Muslim. Take Donnie's speeches and replace the word Muslim with the word Jew and people will be crying he's another Hitler.
