If one has reconstructive nose surgery, it is not mutilation,
it is simply reconstructive surgery..

It is effectively the opposite of constructive evolution, the break down of society. A society lacking morals is not a civilized society.
I vote for morals and civilization. Perhaps a vote for these basic principles is the way forward to ensuring appropriate cultural values and good ethics are reinstated.

Reminds me of the 50s when you shoved eveything in the "closet" or sent it to Aunt Bee's until it was taken care of.

Nope, sorry - chopping off one's genitalia to then twist the remnants into some facsimile of the complimentary genitalia is not the equivalent of repairing damage from an accident or a tumor.
You're really reaching to make a point that cannot be made. It's sort of sad, and desperate.

Or you did what many did then - you live chastely and appreciate the blessings in your life without obsessively focusing on your sex organs and what to do with them.
People worked hard, respected each other, and behaved in a far superior manor to the hedonism we see all around us today.

Oh and I haven't even mentioned my avatar is no hormones, no surgeries, just good lighting, a great hair day, miraculous (yet rare, I got lucky that day) make up job and an auto resolution app. If any of that is being referred to as mutilation. a reply to: Seamrog
