Yes,
because all of the feel goods on the internet joined forces, there is no more need for documentation or evidence.

I for one, think this needs to be moved into the Hoax bin.

If you feel this is a "hoax" why are you still following the thread?

Troll much?

Some quick thoughts.

Antar heard two booms? one louder than the other? 5 jets, all coming in from different directions?

What strikes me as odd is that don't jets normally fly in formation? Although whatever the event is may explain it somewhat.
Antar described them as 'full throttle', so perhaps what she heard were sonic booms from the jet's practising high speed drills??
Could not the warbling object perhaps have been a pilot who had to eject and it was a parachute? (not so likely as no reports of a duffed up jet landing).

So, my conclusion due to lack of other evidence, I'm thinking the sonic booms caused such a fright in Antar that perhaps the 'dark rainbow' was in fact her almost BLACKING OUT. The vision darkens around the edges in the moments before a full black out. She described herself as anxious and nervous.

She lept up and raced outside, from perhaps a state of rest to full on adrenaline. Seem's most likely and blacking out can also cause some confusion as the brain tries to reconstruct events.

My take anyways, hope your ok Antar!

(edit) perhaps you did fully faint and lay in the direct sun for 10 minutes causing a bit of a burnt feeling?

Finally some chatter! Fallon Smith is in Virginia, a few states over. I recall an earlier post in this thread showing explosions heard in South Carolina. I guess it is possible that there is some correlation. All those 3 states are within a state or two of each other. If we start hearing stuff out of North Carolina, Kentucky or Tennessee, then that gives us a good idea of the scope of whatever is happening. It could be interstate drills of some sort.

Does anyone know if the OP is in a remote enough region that no one else would have saw 5 jets flying overhead and shooting something?

Some interesting thoughts here, especially about the "black out". That could also offer an explanation for feeling like her face had been burned. Possible she was just flushed and about to faint (but never did). Only she can confirm if she is still feeling burning effects or not.

As for your thoughts on formation, yes fighter planes often fly in formation, but in a targeting exercise (which is my theory) they will sometimes break formation to engage one or more targets, even when performing training maneuvers.

Edit: and Stormdancer77... that is a weird tale... I had another (just the latest) weird thing happen to me a couple nights ago where it seemed something invisible made an imprint on my bed and terrified me and I laughed and went back to sleep... so... ???

The bedbugs are growing to record size these days. Not only that, but when the ghosties start walking on your bed, that's fine, but chase them out when they start to jump up and down and giggle.

On topic: If the OP went to a doctor, and got a legit doctor's report about the "burns" on her face and neck, that would prove some of the story (and I know make-up can be applied to make a face look like anything - I was at one of those Halloween make-up conventions a few years ago and saw some strange people walking around, even when I wasn't looking in a mirror).

Yes, I commented on that a few pages back. She claims to be 45 miles north of springfield, missouri. She didn't specify exactly where she is, but looking at google maps and just setting a target 45 miles north of the aforementioned location, it appears to be a fairly rural location surrounded by multiple state parks, with not that many towns around at all. Also of interest is the fact that north north west of that location, is Whiteman AFB. Looking at the surrounding area, this would probably be a good area for the air force to conduct training exercises as it is fairly remote and isolated from surrounding population centers.

The air above your property belongs to the government (FAA) so they can't fly on your property. Landing is a different issue.

She doesn't technically have to post her face....she can post a partial....or her whole face with most blurred out.

I don't disbelieve her....but if it was me I'd be posting a partial pic of my face to assist my case. Even using my hands to cover part of my face so as to be unrecognisable. It's doable....that's al I'm saying.

Nevertheless...interesting story and thread.

Is that you in your avatar picture? If so how did you get it if you have no devices of the kind used for taking pictures and loading them on to a website???

Yes, it certainly is me in the photo. And no, I do not have devices of the kind used for taking pictures and loading them on to a website. However in October of 2012, when that picture was taken, I did. Any more questions?

What is your definition of remote? Homes in Central Missouri are spaced in miles if they are not sitting in a small town. Fetch up a google map for yourself and take a look.

It has been stated in this thread several times that military exercises over central Missouri are fairly frequent, so most residents would think nothing of the noise, (maybe some irritation), and may not even look up. Filing complaints or reports, tweeting or face booking such activity every time it happened would be kinda silly.

Did it seem to you that the object was directly responsible for the halo effect?

Was the object between you, and the Sun when it vanished?

You say that you were burned, did the disappearing object give off any noticeable heat?

Please see a Doctor, just a few seconds exposure is very concerning whether a UV, IR or worse to have burned you so fast.

You might also have Arc Eye tomorrow

The military must comply, and file, if they break the sound barrier. It's a no-no. They have blocks of airspace for doing these kinds of high speed maneuvers and they are not over populated areas, especially in the east or mid west.

Read the thread. This didn't happen over a populated area. In fact it didn't happen within miles of a populated area.

Thank you for sharing your experience and I hope you are o.k.

I saw something once, not nearly this incredible btw, had my phone within reach and didn't even think to pick it up or take a photo, and I am a pretty serious photog to boot! I don't think people realize what happens to you when you witness something so incredibly mind boggling. You don't think "LET ME GRAB MY CAMERA, TAKE PICS AND SHOOT A VIDEO" I didn't anyway. I just sat there in my car on the interstate, mind blown and mouth wide open. It wasn't until several minutes later that I thought "dang, should have grabbed my phone."

Anyhow, it seems that some noobs and the usual trolls don't believe you. Whatever. Maybe it's their job to troll and dispute every interesting thing that comes along, who knows. Who cares. They're simpletons, IMHO, you have to be open in order to experience things that are extraordinary. Closed minded and negative type individuals probably wouldn't notice something incredible like this, even it if smacked them in the face.

Again, thanks for sharing. I hope that your burns heal quickly and you get some rest!

I believe you! When you read enough posts, you can get a feel for people who are telling the truth. Just because you don't have any evidence, doesn't mean it didn't happen. Sometimes things are so shocking and startling, your mind can't think straight and you're in awe or fear at the moment. In your case, I can understand how seeing a halo forming around the sun could scare the heck out of you. You have to wonder if the loud boom you heard is not related to all the other loud booms people are hearing around the world.
