And just who has his audience? It wasn't the finest form of diplomacy, but it was directed outward, to allies, to engage in the protracted wars we are in now. It wasn't aimed specifically or even at all towards opposing members of Congress. I question you to prove it.

I hate the republicans because of the lies they told over 911.
I hate the republicans because of the lies they told over Iraq.
I hate the republicans because of the lies they told over Saddam and Bin Laden.
I hate the republicans because they invaded Iraq
I hate the republicans because they invaded Afghanistan
I hate the republicans because they bailed out the banks

I couldn't care less what Murdoch Media BS is put out about tea parties, terrorists, or what ever.

I hate them because they lied, people died, they got rich and the poor are left to rot.

And Obama, his ilk, Liberals HAVEN'T continued the wash rinse and repeat cycle?

Are we still at war?

Is Gitmo still open?

More drone strikes then Bush!

More children and innocent victims dead, in the name of security!

If you have this anger towards the republicans, you should have the other finger pointing at the rest of the scoundrels. Dont let them off lightly, and dont use body counts as an excuse. Democrat's have continued the game and yet still find time to place the blame on Republicans, The Tea Party, Conservatives, and Bush.

Its really Pathetic.

Toss ALL these bums out!

Yes it was railroaded through, and the Patriot Act is an atrocity, though the catch phrase then was "unpatriotic, and unamerican"... If only there was a group in congress that tried like heck to get it repealed... Oh ya the Tea Party... But according to you, this is the law of the land. If they were shutting down the government to force the repeal of the patriot act I would agree wholeheartedly, but I guess you would still call them Terrorists...

I would if they held a huge portion of the population hostage as a bargaining tool against a more at risk population and made the Congress choose who should suffer more, in order to repeal the Patriot Act.

I showed you the video evidence of Pres. George W Bush, at a press conference, directed toward the American People, where GWB says "If you're not with us, You're with the terrorists" What more proof do you need?

Sheesh, obtuse much?

A short-term expiration would not have interrupted ongoing operations but would have barred the government from seeking warrants for new investigations.

Congress bumped up against the deadline mainly because of the stubborn resistance from a single senator, Republican freshman Rand Paul of Kentucky, who saw the terrorist-hunting powers as an abuse of privacy rights. Paul held up the final vote for several days while he demanded a chance to change the bill to diminish the government's ability to monitor individual actions.

Paul argued that in the rush to meet the terrorist threat in 2001 Congress enacted a Patriot Act that tramples on individual liberties. He had some backing from liberal Democrats and civil liberties groups who have long contended the law gives the government authority to spy on innocent citizens.

Patriot Act Extension Signed By Obama

But yet Obama signed the damn thing anyway.

Governmental terrorism...... Legally.

What compromise? The Affordable Care Act is a Law!

Its a Tax.

"If an individual does not maintain health insurance, the only consequence is that he must make an additional payment to the IRS when he pays his taxes," Roberts writes. He adds that this means "the mandate is not a legal command to buy insurance. Rather, it makes going without insurance just another thing the government taxes, like buying gasoline or earning an income."

Supreme Court upholds Obamacare individual mandate as a tax

Uhhh, sorry to break it to you but the establishment has been calling people who it disagrees with "terrorists" for the last few decades. It's just a buzzword. When you agree with them, they are gallant, rebellious defenders of freedom and democracy; when you don't, they are child murdering terrorists. Welcome to America.

Fun and games y'all fun and games. This little political theater has had the desired effect now both liberal and conservative will now be accusing the others of being "Domestic Terrorists."All this talk about the Tea Party is pointless that movement was co-opted just like OWS was. It's just another prop for the 2 party scam.

More and more I am reading this everywhere. On the MSM, on blogs, even here in our little corner of the internet. People are calling the Republicans and the Tea Party Terrorists!!!

They have always been. It's just that people have only now started to realise this and call it like it was all along.

And if you call Obama and the dems terrorists? Yup...racist, anti-muslim, etc. I hate the whole government...every last one of them. But...it is the dems that play the dirtiest and think we are all morons who can't take care of ourselves. They are the ones who insult us and wish to rule our daily lives.

There is too much artificial/superficial hate from both sides, but I am siding with TP this time because obama promised way too much and delivered way too little. The spending is out of control, the wars are out of control, jobs are becoming scarce and everyone is on the government dole. We need less statism and democrats wont allow it.

I also dont like mainstream conservatives because they only care about two things: a)big business b)big military-industrial complex. Suprsingly the democrats are just as big in warmongering as the republicans, perhaps more so.

I would be voting for constitution party candidates if I still lived in the states. Fortunately/unfortunately I moved to europe to start a business and sending ballots by mail I dont trust. They will probably get shred up once deliverd to some voting precinct. I encourage people to vote for a "third party" or at least take a look at them. The duopoly has become a monopoly, ie one party. Hardely any difference between the two, and especially on important issues.

that sounds like all of them, the republicans think we are all morons too, they just whisper the words their constituents want to hear according to each groups philosophy.

you just notice the dems more because they don't feed you what you want to hear, this is a general issue for us all though. we don't notice forked tongues from those who say they are our friends.
sad thing is, a lot of folks we vote in for the first time really do believe what they say, but the poison infecting the system infects them too. then we think the guy we put in office is the same, but he/she isn't anymore because they have to compromise their integrity to do anything and then it's too easy to say the right words while doing the wrong things.

It's not like the Tea Party calls the President of the United States an evil Muslim Terrorist or anything...huh?

But let's face facts...they truly are the American Taliban. They would love to rule this country under religious rule and put women back in the kitchen.

The scary thing is, they say this with pride...they think one of the biggest problems with our country is that we don't base our laws on the bible and that women are educated and out in the workforce.

Don't blame me or others for just pointing out that this type of thinking matches exactly what the Taliban thinks.

The "terrorist" part is from their current actions...they are using the government shutdown and the debt ceiling to invoke "terror" in the public in an attempt to get them on their side and get their way. That is exactly what terrorists do.

It is the American thing to do to stand up and call them out for what they are...not to sit silently just to be polite.

Yes lets face the facts, the government is under control of socialist/communist who go mostly go under the title of Democrats. Shame on your for being a traitor to our country and the good people who want it back. I can only imagine how many hours of CNN and MSNBC you must watch.

Even if it were true that they were socialist/communist, which it is not...I kind of wish they were a little more socialist...but even if that were true...why would that make me a traitor for supporting them?

Can you show me where in the Constitution is says that socialism/communism is treasonous?

Actually, can you show me where in the Constitution where it says what economic model America is supposed to use, and that Socialism/Communism is strictly prohibited?

It's amazing isn't it?

That two people can view the exact same situation, and come up with two completely different understandings of what happened.

Yes, divided... we all lose.

Sure, different viewpoints is part of the growing process. But I'm pretty sure that growing process doesn't involve absolute judgements, aggression, nor negative (and completely false) labeling.

Hey, but at least we can all agree on one thing, right? We are screwed!
