More and more I am reading this everywhere. On the MSM, on blogs, even here in our little corner of the internet. People are calling the Republicans and the Tea Party Terrorists!!!

This is insane. SHAME ON ALL OF YOU. Shame on the newsites for printing this garbage, but mostly SHAME on you America, shame on every poster on this site that has posted this nonsense. To call fellow Americans Terrorists... Why? Because you disagree with them? Thats the lowest of the low, a downright shame and a slap in the face to everything this country stands for.

This is exactly what TPTB want. We are now turning on each other like rabid dogs. An entire segment is being labeled Terrorists... Where will this lead? No where I hope. But if people start being rounded up for their beliefs we only have ourselves to blame.

This is DANGEROUS, very dangerous talk guys. I can't believe I'm actually hearing Americans talking to each other like this.

Didn't Crazy (Harry) Reid just call the GOP anarchists the other day? Politics has always been divisive but now it looks like they're going to start eating each other. Hope they do actually but we can't get that lucky.

Can't imagine what it's going to be like if the progressive pols manage to ram through the immigration bill. At that point with all the new "I want it free" voters to boost the leftists the GOP is going to be in more than trouble, they could probably be in danger as well.

Guess we'd see how the NDAA works out for them. Bet they didn't see that coming.

extremists, terrorists, anarchists are the labels that I have heard tossed out frequently, not by pundits, but by actual elected Reps and Sens...

They are certainly fearful that folks who believe in small fed govt and their movement are gaining traction?

Thank you for posting this, I couldn't agree more!

Not much more to say, had a similar convo with a coworker after he mentioned the ted cruz pseudo-filibuster--> not about the topic of it (and he's pretty pro obama care, doesn't even blame it for the most recent HC cost hike!), moreso the fact that Cruz was attacked by fellow republicans for doing it! (and he's the type that would never vote republican no matter how much he agreed with the candidate.

Establishment needs to go. Dog eat dog mentality needs to go.

*sigh*

Millions of people call themselves republicans and/or tea partiers...
and since that is the case...
America has millions of terrorists just walking around, FREELY!!
well, of course, this means we need highway checkpoints everywhere, thousands of drones in our skies, stricter gun laws and camps to put these terrorists in.

Obama -- I'm looking at you, you non-terrorist, you.

It's not like the Tea Party calls the President of the United States an evil Muslim Terrorist or anything...huh?

But let's face facts...they truly are the American Taliban. They would love to rule this country under religious rule and put women back in the kitchen.

The scary thing is, they say this with pride...they think one of the biggest problems with our country is that we don't base our laws on the bible and that women are educated and out in the workforce.

Don't blame me or others for just pointing out that this type of thinking matches exactly what the Taliban thinks.

The "terrorist" part is from their current actions...they are using the government shutdown and the debt ceiling to invoke "terror" in the public in an attempt to get them on their side and get their way. That is exactly what terrorists do.

It is the American thing to do to stand up and call them out for what they are...not to sit silently just to be polite.

Let me help you dig that hole chief...

You should probably include conservatives, birthers, constitutionalists, Christians and libertarians because based on their actions, as you say, of not blowing up buildings, and constantly not taking hostages, and never using chemical weapons... they are most definitely terrorists just as well.

Those darned American Taliban(s)?

You sir or ma'am have made a great argument and are a true American.

Unfortunately, I cannot star your comment because I believe I am a terrorist according to "the facts" you just laid out for us all.

Yup. And so are the dems. Ruling by fear...isn't that terrorism? Isn't political gain by violence and threats the exact definition of terrorism?

I know it. I would never call a democrat a terrorist. I really do expect better. It sucks to see both sides argue back and fourth and even stalemate but to take to that sort of name calling? Not good folks. The op is right it is dangerous to do that.

Since he's taken office Obama has never once tried to work with Republicans. He could barely get Obamacare passed with a SUPER Majority. Didn't then or now give a Crap about anything they want, say, or propose. as well as what most Americans wanted & still want. Yet he expects to keep rolling & getting his way. Has he forgot about the 5-7 Major scandals over the Past year. Secret Police, IRS targeting Political parties & tying up there Money during election time. Same IRS to run his Garbage UnAffordable, Unconstitutional Corporate/Lobbyist written Health Care.

Obama Lies & Blames republicans for the Sequester stuff, and when called out by associated press who actually report it was Him & not Republicans he turns on the A.Press. That says that his public Crying & Blame Gaming since he took office was all made possible by a Sad, Kiss Ass, MSM who were his State Run Media / Propaganda Forum.

Not to Mention the Secret Socialist, Anti-Americans, his Czars. Nancy Pelosi just told CNN that the 40 Hour work week being Killed by ObamaCare is a Liberation for Americans to Pursue Happiness. LOL

Not the Americans who need to work Nancy. Maybe you the Millionaire, & your friends that were with you at George Soros wedding Recently. The same man who wants to strip America of it's Dollar for a Global one, which he speaks about Freely in interviews.

That's terrorists, You, That Clown who was groomed for the White House to Fundamentally Transform my Country. Transform means Change, Fundamentals are Corner Stones, Principles, The fabric of whatever institution it represents. Meaning he wanted to turn America into whatever your Billion George S. & Trilatteral Commission want it to be.

Everything wanders to the Light. When your president is no longer valuable and the media have no interest in wasting time to Cover Up, Protect, Retract News for him anymore, he will be shown for what he is.. Not the Worst President, but The First President to ever Conspire against United States of America. The country who's well being he Swore to protect. ... and possibly not the first American President because he might not even be that. That's How I feel in my Gut. Right or Wrong I'm going with what I feel & Not what Popular Opinion says I should.

This is a Congressional job, not a Presidential job.

What do you want Obama to talk with the Republicans about? About them using the threat of a government shutdown to pass their agenda?

Let's be clear...it is the Republicans trying to get their agenda passed, not the Democrats.

They really are very similar in many respects, I don't see how this is shocking. Holding the entire government and many of the citizens hostage to get what they want does seem somewhat terroristic, especially considering that this is a bill that was passed long ago and approved by the supreme court (though admittedly that was BS).

In the past I would have said just to ignore them, but this has gotten way out of hand.

What many of the folks blinded by the MSM don't realize is that the Tea Party is not confined to GOP party lines. Paleoconservatives, Traditionalists, Libertarians, Populists and Classical Liberals have all taken up membership. They've got more unity in their organization than we have seen in Washington since the Reagan era!

What they ask for is simple, reduction in the U.S. national debt and federal budget deficit by reducing U.S. government spending and taxes.

en.wikipedia.org...

I am not a currently member, but I probably will be one before the end of the year.

Go ahead, label me a terrorist, then come have a beer with me and we'll talk politics.

To those who continue to call your fellow Americans Terrorists I have a question.

I take it, since we are Terrorists, that you would support the use of drone strikes, re-education camps, indefinite detention and torture against us?

I find it crazy the fact that NDAA was signed into law under Obama's watch and it's never brought up as a big sticking point red flag for some, especially liberals. It's insanity. Why do people worship this man? Seriously it's happening, liberals worship him no matter how many times they try to deny it...

NDAA allows for government to detain Americans INDEFINATELY with no trial, nadda for those whom the government considers "terrorists". This IS dangerous to accuse people of "terrorism" based on a disagreement. The whole structure of our government was DESIGNED so that disagreements could happen, with the voice of the people influencing those disagreements. Now we want our neighbors accused of terrorism for disagreeing with leftist ideals? This is pure insanity nutbar crazy shiz, do we really want our neighbors detained indefinitely never to be seen again because they disagree with you?

What happens when the right does this when a republican president is elected? Will they care then? BOTH parties are FUBAR IMO, but this is nonsense and IS a really big deal. People need to wake up to it, now!
