That's kinda interesting...there have been a few in that location in the last week, starting with a 5.4 on 26th September. Definitely worth watching. I'm not much of a doom porn fan myself, although it can be kinda funny, but the one time we ignore it and it kicks off will be the big one, I suspect.

remember, when you go to milliways, you must ask to meet and talk to the special of the day!

Meet the meat

Anyway, just one day to go and then the whole world* will finally know once and for all, without any possibility of doubt, whether God is the real deal. Or a fraud.

* well a bunch of internet conspiracy freaks, anyway, 99.99% of the world popuation will be oblivious to it

You're missing the fact that Vegas is all about hetero badness, whereas SF is the home of the homo badness.. So all the homophobes don't mind that Vegas is the white slavery capital of the US, because there are men in assless chaps and rainbow Tshirts during SF pride.

I jest some, but not really. I love SF for it's bohemian weirdness, and dislike Vegas for it's absolute trashyness, but I can see why some people (and people are the ones who make predictions for god) would aim a big quake at SF. It's the new Sodom, after all.

Personally, hoping the quake doesn't happen, given I'm not that far from there, but I'm not all that afraid that the doom-porners on here are right, it's not like it ever happens.

You mood could be because we are getting hit with a CME at this time.
The atmosphere is charged differently. So you could be sensitive to it.
That's possible.

One day left to go. Does anyone know how far a 9.8 would be felt if it hit the West coast?

So here you are again bashing God, So you got some people who try to claim God told them this or that, then you try to blame God and honest Christians.

That is about as bad as white people getting blamed for a Mexican shooting a black guy in Florida.

VERY INTERESTING about it being an RCC Feast day RE St Francis . . . the city's namesake. Not sure what that might mean but it's very interesting.

Thx.

Plenty to prayerfully ponder.

Your assumptions about God come across as extremely anemic and imperceptive.

He's infinitely larger than the tarnishments even his flawed snotty nosed kids can successfully & lastingly fling on Him or His reputation.

IF SOMEONE who owns Him as Lord and Savior believes, feels, discerns, hears that they are called to be a watchman, they are held accountable if they do not sound an alert or an alarm or a prior warning.

We are all flawed humans. We all see, hear, understand, perceive things in flawed ways.

NONE of us can achieve our own Salvation by works--particularly alone--none of us can pull ourselves up by our bootstraps.

NONE of us, can by our own engineering, achieve any accurate predictiveness . . . nor, per se, by our own engineering 100% insure 100% always 100% total accuracy. We are just too flawed.

It behooves the earnest believers to be as accurate as possible. That's God's standard.

However, God also has a standard of not judging folks lest we be judged by the measure we judge others by.

I don't recall meeting ANYONE who could survive well or routinely THAT standard.

You seem to routinely eagerly take your chances on that score. Time will tell how that works out.

Oh no. Not another date specific thread again. That's @ 276 (the number of days till Oct. 3rd this year) threads. So a 9.7 in Cali? And no, a 3.6 on this date won't count as minor EQs happen all the time out there.

9.7 is kinda small for a God.

How bout an asteroid the size of the moon. Now that's more like it.

So here you are again bashing God,

I didn't bash God ... I bashed fake prophecies. God has nothing to do with them.

BX, your assumptions that everyone on here believes in God come across as extremely anemic and imperceptive.

I seem to recall he once wiped out virtually all life on Earth, just because he didn't like the attitude of a few humans in a couple of towns in the Middle East. Hardly a standard of judgement I would aspire to

Speaking of imperceptive . . .

where on earth did I remotely indicate that I believed everyone hereon believed in God?

I'm far from that unaware!

I've frequently written about how those of us who believe in God appear to be GREATLY in the minority on ATS.

Though, I realize you were evidently primarily being tweaky and/or cheeky in your response. It would have helped your cause if you had been 100% more factual, accurate.

Evidently your understanding of the historical record is greatly flawed.

BTW,

Did you get your higher, more lofty perch from which to JUDGE GOD

from 7/11 or Walmart?

FWIW,

Stan Deyo's quake monitoring methodology has the SF area circled in red as an alert for a potential significant quake sometime in the next 1-7 or so days if I understand it accurately.

standeyo.com...

His is empirically based on temperature anomalies related to the crust or sea floor or some such.

BX, evidently your understanding of the historical record is greatly flawed.

God kills people in Genesis, Ezekiel, Numbers, Levticus, Joshua, Samuel, etc. if you consider the Bible your "historical record".

People are judging "God" by proxy since man wrote the Bible, not God.

Just like man is predicting the 9.7 EQ Oct. 3rd which won't happen, not God.

I have emphatic confidence in the Biblical historical record.

I don't think much of a lot of the blathering assertions related thereto, hereon.

And many folks attributions re God and His righteousness, purity, love, justice, mercy etc. are wildly off the wall and off the mark, imho.

It wasn't the attitude of a few that the earth was wiped out for.. It was the attitude of 99% of the population of that time.. Now it is closely beginning to be exactly that same way again.. Folks like yourself could be the reason why history might just repeat itself again soon in some devastating disaster.. A lack of belief or faith and extreme wickedness in the world was the sole reason for the great deluge..

It definitely wasn't the attitudes of a few.. You can redefine the reasons just so you feel better, but it certainly isn't true.. Do you wish to be like those that caused the flood?
