"God" says 9.7 Earthquake Coming to West Coast USA on Oct 3, 2013

I really wonder what would happen if such a quake occurs... I don't think the prophecy is right, but I am genuily interested in the results.

Well, if it does happen, I'll have a front-row seat. Of course I'll post pics for all you "it didn't happen" folks.

On a serious note, I've lived in San Francisco for 7 years now. Every Tuesday at noon, we have an outdoor alarm test from the Hunter's Point area that you can hear throughout the east side of the city. It starts with a WWII siren and concludes with a booming male voice talking about the test. From where I live, it reverberates in your chest. 'Always gives me the heebee jeebees and if I ever heard it at a time other than Tuesday noon, I would probably poop myself. Let's hope this prediction is pure conjecture.

I guess it's something to take note of if it comes from God himself....

But I've seen this before with these predictions and would like to know in advance, does anybody know what God's time zone is? I mean..this thing can be streched for a days.

Is it UTC? UTC -12:00? UTC +12:00?

Straight off let me say I think this is a load of bunk.
I'm posting this for a few reasons.

1 - Doom porn is a hoot. We'll enjoy heckling it.

2 - More than a few people seem to think that every time someone claims that God is talking to someone, it's automatically true. So on October 4th, when this thing hasn't happened, perhaps those people will finally understand that not everyone who claims visions from God really gets them.

So .. in the spirit of 'failure watch' ... I present the following 'prophecy' -

9.7 Earthquake Coming to West Coast USA on Oct 3, 2013

Three independent sources have recently claimed the Lord told them a large earthquake is going to hit the west coast of the United States on Thursday, October 3, 2013. Two of these sources identified the earthquake will measure 9.7 on the Richter scale. That would make it the largest earthquake in recorded history. ...

According to these sources, the Golden Gate Bridge will be broken in half by the tsunami. The remains of the bridge will be moved into a vertical position. The San Francisco valley will be flooded with water.

The following provides testimonies from each of these three sources.

The article goes on to state exactly the 'prophecies' from the people.

And of course, if a 9.7 hits the USA West Coast, I'll admit that I jumped the gun in automatically dismissing these 'prophecies'. However, looking at the other articles on the site, I have to say I'm very confident this 'prophecy' isn't going to come to pass. Other articles include ... 'the housing bubble is about to burst' ... HELLO? The housing bubble burst years ago. There is no housing bubble.

Don't you mean to say that everyone who claims to have visions from god is full of #, and we shouldn't bother listening to what they say outside of giving them an ear to express their psychotic ramblings too?

Back in March 2013, I had dreams of large spacecraft appearing in the skies all over the world after a record-breaking earthquake happened..... Perhaps that was what the autistic kid meant?

Big change is coming. There is absolutely no doubt about it.

There has been a war going on for a long time now that most are unaware of. It's a battle for the hearts and minds of every person on this planet. At present it's happening interdimensionally, but the cracks are starting to present now in our physical world.

It's extremely important that you find your spiritual heart centre and meditate on love, for when the veil is fully removed and the battle moves in to the lower dimensions, you will need enormous strength and self belief to survive and thrive.

The effects of a 9.3 would be massive. The tsunami could effect the entire pacific 'ring of fire'.
In fact, one could come off this and finish Fukashima off.

I think I'd go one step further. 9.3 to 9.7 wouldn't be a disaster. It wouldn't be a catastrophe. That's all entirely too mild for terminology.

It would be an event to change topography for an entire region. I don't know how anyone puts it better than that. You know the mountains they say quakes formed? Well.... I've seen the rock stratta in the Cajon Pass on I-15 outside L.A.. Layers at angles in excess of 45 degrees. How do you figure those...once perfectly level layers, came to be that way?

I think history would be written on a quake like that. Written and re-written. Not likely tho, eh?

This kind of stuff scares me, but LA is overdue for a big quake, and not San Fran. What bugs me is its stated God himself is going to shake the city. Why would God do that? Why SF? If God himself were going to take his wrath out on one city for its "iniquity" I would think LasVegas would take the cake. I live in LA so hopefully this will not happen, although it is just a matter of time before we have "The Big One".

That's funny... I just watched a documentary on TV of a mega quake hitting the W Coast. I do believe in God but he didn't tell me... Maybe he directed me to watch the show... What a coWinkydink!! lol

They do say the W. Coast is over-due...
