I have emphatic confidence in the Biblical historical record.

I don't think much of a lot of the blathering assertions related thereto, hereon.

And many folks attributions re God and His righteousness, purity, love, justice, mercy etc. are wildly off the wall and off the mark, imho.

So in other words you only sight the Bible when it fits your agenda and disregard it when you don't agree. Ok.

You seem to have a habit of trying vainly to put your words in my fingers. Sheesh. What cheek.

Let me try again with very short words.

1. The Bible is true. Very True. Lastingly True. Wholly true.

2. The noise hereon . . . rants, spews of unaware folks hereon about THEIR thoughts about what the Bible says tend to be off the wall silliness VERY disconnected to the Bible and what it says and means.

3. I Trust The Bible totally as I have for most of my 66+ years. It has proven true

A) in terms of 100's of fulfilled prophecies. I trust it will about those scheduled to be fulfilled in our era as it was true about Israel becoming a nation again in a day in 1948 . . . and as its predictions have proven true to the letter about those nations arrayed against it toward its utter destruction.

B) in terms of describing the nature of man and man's inclinations toward God and toward one another.

The prophecies in this thread are not Bible. Some may be from authentic Spirit led Christians and some not. Even the Christian prophetic is still a big mess. However, some have been accurate over the last 100+ years and some will be accurate not. More will be more accurate in the near future when God begins to clean up the Christian prophetic field.

I seem to recall he once wiped out virtually all life on Earth, just because he didn't like the attitude of a few humans in a couple of towns in the Middle East. Hardly a standard of judgement I would aspire to

It wasn't the attitude of a few that the earth was wiped out for.. It was the attitude of 99% of the population of that time.. Now it is closely beginning to be exactly that same way again.. Folks like yourself could be the reason why history might just repeat itself again soon in some devastating disaster.. A lack of belief or faith and extreme wickedness in the world was the sole reason for the great deluge..

It definitely wasn't the attitudes of a few.. You can redefine the reasons just so you feel better, but it certainly isn't true.. Do you wish to be like those that caused the flood?

What did the kangaroos and polar bears or even the bamboo and oaks ever do to deserve violent death at the hands of a homocidal maniac (assuming one believes the conflicting folk tales in the Pentateuch to be true - I'm obviously playing deveil's advocate in that respect )

And besides, if God had given us freewill, then that means we have freewill. Which includes the freewill to not worship a vicious, venegful deity. Or are we just supposed to be automatons folowing the strict instructions of our Lord and Master?


Anyway, all OT. There's as much chance of a 9.7mag earthquake in California tomorrow as there is of me winning the lottery every day this month.

And for the record, I checked with Thor, Vishnu and the Dagda earlier today and they assure me no such earthquake will occur.

Agreed. Apparently "God" is in a huff about same sex marriage according to the
9.7 EQ prophet. God has a lot of "issues" to be a God.
Remember when he asked Abraham to kill his son to prove his allegiance to god?

Every time some one has posted these "end of the world/major event" threads, I made a prediction that nothing would happen, and so far I have been correct 100% of the time ...

So once again I will make a prediction that nothing out of the ordinary will happen on October the 4th, 2013 (and hey I don't even need a god to tell me ... maybe I'm on some other kind of level haha)


Lets see if my 100% success rate will be continued ... and once again I will step in to glory as my predictions come true, time and time again.

I dare anyone to stand up to my predicting powers as I have had a 100% hit rate for the last 5 years.

Awesome presentation on this, and October 3rd is tomorrow! I love it. Super easy.

God needs to be mad about midgets and hermaphrodites. Cuz both freak me out. Gay people tend to breed themselves into non existence so nothing to get excited about. But this earthquake doom porn will fail. Oh so appealing to those wanting off this ride called life though.

Actually, that is not true at all. The Lord is VERY specific many times in Scripture. He names Cyrus by name 600 years before he was born.

He gave prophecy concerning the Messiah to come. 239 very distinct prophesies. Each perfectly fulfilled, from the manner of his conception, the place of his birth, the manner of his life to the means of his death and resurrection. All perfectly fulfilled in the person of Jesus the Christ, the Lord of glory.

In the Old Testament it says "there is no God like our God, who knows the end from the beginning. "

Now, having said that, a prophet is judged on the accuracy of their prophecy. If it does NOT come to pass it is a false prophecy.

Having had several dreams that were prophecies and came to pass, I can only hope, for the sake of the unrepentant in CA, that this does not happen. I have not had any sense of this event myself. We will know tomorrow.

The moral of the story is to remember that each of us is one heartbeat away from eternity. So be ready always by receiving grace and peace.

I'm doubting the big quake will hit too, simply because it is so rare for disasters being seen before they happen.. There was one that came true and was dreamt by a ATS member.. forget his name, but he saw the Japan EQ a year before it happened.. The date was exact..

And yes you have freewill to believe how you want. The things God did in the past all relate to ACCOUNTABILITY. Sure, there's a lot of folks out there that feel there should not be any limits on what a person can choose to do.. They go around doing anything they feel like, and all the while in the delusion, bashing God for being a crazed killer.. Funny how too much self pride can affect a person, wouldn't you say?

God is actually very kind and forgiving on a scale that exceeds your wildest imagination.. The things he did were done as a last resort and after those peoples were warned many times over..

My spirit guide says there will be an earthquake on the west coast on the third and she is never wrong. She didn't say what size it will be though. No wonder she is never wrong, she only tells me things that can't be wrong.There is always an earthquake every day there.

I'm posting this for a few reasons.

1 - Doom porn is a hoot. We'll enjoy heckling it.

2 - More than a few people seem to think that every time someone claims that God is talking to someone, it's automatically true. So on October 4th, when this thing hasn't happened, perhaps those people will finally understand that not everyone who claims visions from God really gets them.

So .. in the spirit of 'failure watch' ... I present the following 'prophecy' -

Three independent sources have recently claimed the Lord told them a large earthquake is going to hit the west coast of the United States on Thursday, October 3, 2013. Two of these sources identified the earthquake will measure 9.7 on the Richter scale. That would make it the largest earthquake in recorded history. ...

According to these sources, the Golden Gate Bridge will be broken in half by the tsunami. The remains of the bridge will be moved into a vertical position. The San Francisco valley will be flooded with water.

And of course, if a 9.7 hits the USA West Coast, I'll admit that I jumped the gun in automatically dismissing these 'prophecies'. However, looking at the other articles on the site, I have to say I'm very confident this 'prophecy' isn't going to come to pass. Other articles include ... 'the housing bubble is about to burst' ... HELLO? The housing bubble burst years ago. There is no housing bubble.

The Richter scale? We don't even use that measurement anymore.

It is weird because it is one of those things the public is mostly ignorant on. Often times you still hear people saying "X on the richter scale".
