The solution it is very , very simple:

- keep the old format and apply(interpolate) the new features.

everything must be done sequentially in order to evolve.

Evolution without time can bring total collapse.

You cannot have electric cars without intermediary hybrid vehicles.

Modern doesn't mean always efficient,economically speaking in the year 2013 which is minus product value.

This is why the timing is important which is given by the management of the business.

To know ,when,where and most important why can be essential in the economy of the game in the year 2013.

By choosing the right moment can be 99 percent of the success.

Well I had an idea to start a thread, but I better not seeing as the staff would probably not appreciate it or just close it. But perhaps a member poll is in order here, Skeptic. Therefore I would seriously suggest you open a new thread to take a site poll of members wishing for the new design, or wishing to keep the old design. Even if keeping the old design is not an option. Because you might just find that it NEEDS to be an option. And if you don't want to do it, then give me permission and I'll do it. Wanna find out what the majority thinks? I think that would be valuable information for serious consideration.

I wept uncontrollably when the new format emerged.

But then I realized that I had probably put the q-tip too deep again.

There is no going back or change. The core design of the new ATS.5/3 is locked in. There may be some style tweaks, and I hope those who are genuinely interested in helping will do so.

In case you missed it....

Even though I don't like several aspects of the new ATS, I have to make a statement based upon some of the replies:

Some people complain about certain features not showing up, being inaccessible, etc..

Some of these are likely code issues. While creating such an overhaul as this, there are many nuances in code that subtly affect design. So instead, "OMG I can't reply, the new ATS sucks," that is likely a code issue, and since everything is still being worked out, this is likely to happen.

Sorry, but small stuff like this bugs me.

As far are larger issues with which people have problem, and are not code issues, they will get used to it.

As i stated in my own reply to this thread, the biggest issue I have is the size of the fonts/layout. It looks too zoomed in and large to be comfortable. While this is not necessarily a code issue (it *could* be), petty technical complaints during a major transition are getting annoying. Even to me.

The eye always needs balance and harmony. That's what it seeks. This I have discovered. And I think the layouts although are not OVERLY important. They do need the very basics in place.

Bring back the ribbon!

Seriously though, now that I know what it's properly called -- I use it constantly! I have a hard enough time keeping tabs on what threads I've made comments on!

Now I have to make sure that when I post, it subscribes me. That, however, doesn't really solve it either. Instead of taking me back to my exact post, It puts me at the beginning of the thread. I don't always remember which page my comment is on. In very large threads (20+ pages) it's nearly impossible to find where I left off with my comment!

At the very least, can we have a "my posts" and "my threads" added to this new format? I'll get used to everything else just fine.

I'm easy like a Sunday morning ... except for the RIBBON!

I am a lady and don't want this to turn into a kitten/princess themed site? I also do not feel that's what makes me female in any way shape or form. Especially as I am an adult

Looks like they changed it back for the moment. Going to browse the site like I used to before they change it back :X

Yeah when all the guys bail it will be ours to do what we please. We could really use more feminine things here anyways. This could become known as the conspiracy site for woman. Sort of like lifetime is for movies.

Hey I have a suggestion, can they code us a pink section just for us ladies? And maybe some cute bunny rabbit graphics? Maybe we could even alternate ya know with a cat day, dog days etc...

Lets find a way to have a lot of people hate me! New design is better. SO did an amazing job. Some format issues still a cleaner faster format. I've tested it on my phone, tablet, laptop, big screen tv! I use my phone 3g as a tethered connection. The new layout is simpler cleaner and better and faster! As a web programmer I'm loving the new tweaks. Emoticons realy people..... REALY! I thought we where about content not flashy icons. Geez I tried to say that last part with a straight face.. the blue emoticons suck.

Yeah I know it's supposedly a done deal. But if I was given permission and started that thread and it pulled 500+ flags, you think maybe THEN the site admin might reconsider? lol, no. Probably not even then. There are obviously other factors at play here, and ATS is a private site. They do what they want. It's just the way it is.
