They most likely want to keep all the posts and comments on it in here. Because they are trying to gage the general response in an organised manner - I guess.

I often find these overhauls are the result of some tech geek trying to justify their existence.


Kind of like marketing depts ( lets change the company Logo.

Or HR depts. ( lets have a team building exercise )

I've seen it come and go a couple of times. It appears to still have a lot of bugs. I couldn't even log in from my phone....blank screen. Also, even on my PC, the avatars were screwed up (out of proportion). Couldn't see borders either.

I'm not digging it so far.

What is this white stuff I saw a while ago?

I hope ATS isn’t doing that white background, it will IMO diminish the site

One of the cool things about ATS is its sleek misty and mysterious black background.

There's a button on 5/3 that can change it from white to black.

Not happy.

The old version, from the users perspective, was almost perfect. It was easy on the eyes and easy to navigate, I find both those features to be missing now

But thats just me.

What I'd really like to see would be some improvements for those who make threads. How about a sandbox where we can view and test our threads before we make them public? Also, some OP's are too big for one post slot and we have to split it into two posts. It can be annoying to find others have replied before we can get that second post entered.
Has anything like this been thought about?

I thought the same thing in the beginning, but theres a way of adjusting it to a dark grey version.

May I please ask you about laptops. I am on one and when it switched it was odd looking. As in, when I would try to reply, my text was huge, and when I would try to check my messages, they were tiny and unreadable. Someone suggested control minus or plus but that didnt work what so ever.

I had opposite issues... On my laptop, I was able to login and everything looked fine. However due to the auto resizing, I was not able to access the login button in the left side dropdown menu from my andriod phone...

wow..I really thought no one would reply to me. So everything looked normal? And could you even see the members name above their avatar?

Are we keeping up with the Jones's?

Well, you know... I just did a count and we had over 60 members (not including staff) providing input on organization, functionality, and colors.


I am genuinely surprised this time out, because I involved members, and was rather confident the new UI would be well-received.

Mostly i think its the size ratio between the large heading text / icons and the normal post text that is off. The large heading text/ icons etc just seem to big.

Some of the other styling i quite liked.

Seriously didn't like the emoticons though, they totally lacked character.

The emotons weakness were that they were lines, they didn't have expressions really.

They were like stone age letters... kinda thing.

Now I can't reply to some threads. No reply button..

I'd just like to say this.

I don't like change. I don't think I have ever met anyone who really does.

Having said that...

I want to say thank you to the owners and staff here at ATS for taking the time and money to make our time here easy and fun.

I really don't think there could be anything they could change to make me want to not come back here everyday. I don't get a lot of time to be on the computer, but when I can, ATS is always one of first places I visit.
