May I please ask you about laptops. I am on one and when it switched it was odd looking. As in, when I would try to reply, my text was huge, and when I would try to check my messages, they were tiny and unreadable. Someone suggested control minus or plus but that didnt work what so ever.

Everything worked fine on my ipad and my pantech phone...is this new ats not gonna be laptop friendly?? Or is it just my laptop that was having trouble?

Again...I hope I am not a bother by asking this..

Well I would think that if the current color scheme is a tried and true, and well accepted success, changing it the least possible might be a consideration.

I almost felt the same way, but upper right hand corner there is a button to switch between white and grey/blk,themes which grey theme is a lot better kinda like this one.

I played with it for a few mins, I didn't like the zoomed in look of everything , like recent post section didn't show enough threads on the screen, I like to see more links/threads.
Ill adapt though.

Well I had no problems with it, but then I knew what to expect because of the 24 hour beta. I think a lot of people were just surprised because they didn't do the beta test.

Maybe this time around there will be a lot more people trying it out and giving feedback. You could do a 3 day beta for those who want to get acquainted with it. Personally I like the new site, but then I love change

I choose not to test the beta, but have issues with the new version.

I'll test and offer feedback for the third one.

One thing the beta did improve was chat. I cannot access chat unless beta is on.

I'm sorry, but I don't give 2 steaming heaps if you fix all the glitches on the new theme or not, it sucks!
It looks like it's made for children with a vision impairment.

I thought this was a site that was geared toward ADULTS talking about conspiracies and what not. Not a forum for children to discuss Jersey Shore or Hanna Montana. WTF Skeptic!

If this change is for all the morons who can't live without being able to access ATS on their dumbPhone or whatever, even more sad.

Lastly, if this is the change you set your mind on and are going ahead with it despite what any of your users say, then just BAN ME NOW, idgaf. Far as I'm concerned you've rendered this site useless and VERY unappealing.

Oh yeah P.S. My 13 year old daughter even thinks it looks extremely childish.

I just want to add I know why the old site was better for my eyes because there are so many colors on the dark background, this illuminates them so I can tell and work out what is what.

I think on this layout there is over 7 colors. Which is great and very relaxing for my eyes.

No I understand like I know kids under 3yrs old take better to " simplistic images" whereas as you get older your brain needs more stimulation. If its bombarded with limited visuals it becomes tired... We are symbolic creatures and better off trying to work out various things out, than having " under stimulated " environments.

I cant get that big triangle out of my head - that was scarey!!!!!!!!

I had opposite issues... On my laptop, I was able to login and everything looked fine. However due to the auto resizing, I was not able to access the login button in the left side dropdown menu from my andriod phone...

Dumbphone! I occasionally check in on ATS on my phone when im on my break in work just to see whats happening. But I don't give a monkeys that I can see it very well and I don't bother posting, I just want an update, I look forward to the good stuff on my laptop when I get home..

It switched back to old ATS for me.

I am haunted by the red triangle. With the black thing. It was sooo big and bold and just there...

Was "recent posts" still up there. Could not find it.

Its the first thing I click on to get involved in real-time active conversations.
