Ahh haaa. I've changed settings in the dropdown menu and managed to turn the colour to grey.

Its fine now.

Just have to hit Reply to post. Or, at least tap just to the Left of reply.

i tried doing the control- and control + but it didnt work..and all the avatars look jacked up..likeyours right now...the head is above the body!! Ahhhhh!!
Is this really because I am on a laptop and not my ipad? When I was on my ipad I could read my messages..but now they are to tiny to even see.

Also, is there a glitch with my uploads? I can't see it because it says I need a name and password...

ETA~~ I can't even see anyones names..

You mean to press the moon icon to find styles?

If the font was different colors I could see. Really this is making me dyslexic in a way. I guess that's why opticians do the tests and add colors.

Like the fonts in white look miniature to me. Especially names I have no chance of trying to work them out. And when I see white lines of different subject matters I cannot differentiate still .

Oh, gosh...I have such a good joke about this "new board, instructions", I just thought of... but...I can't tell it (unless all the mods give me a pass ) It's not dirty, it just mentions a certain, place..oh..never mind...

With the grey background at least I don't get double vision when I look away ,but I cant read " names " and tell the threads apart either.

I guess its to do with my eyes, but I have them regulary tested. So I am wearing new glasses, 3 months old.

I really like the new layout. Not as cluttered and looks very Mac.

have you tried/considered the 'dark' option?

top right. icon furthest to the right. half-colored circle. click it.

Better as in… Not feeling like a chainsaw being stuck into your eye socket.
It’s a lot more tolerable pain along the order of fine steel shavings being rubbed into your eyes with big burly pepper spray coated thumbs.

Both options have painful color contrast.
The fuzziness of everything.
The oversized icons
It feels like I am trying to use a freaking oversized mobile phone.
There is a reason why I don’t use mobile phones of tablet computers.
This site is a firm reminder of why that is.

It won’t help the painful “mobile” style layout, but if you give people the option of choosing their own color scheme for their own profile then it would go a long way to helping people select colors that contrast well for them. Everyone’s eyes do not perceive color the same way you do. That is why windows and all other operating systems allow the user to change the colors of the various items on screen to make it easier for that user’s eyes. There is very few “universal” color/contrast schemes that everyone finds usable over the long haul. The two that has been provided definitely don’t fall in that category.

Not saying that it would make me stay, because I won’t, but it’s a serous suggestion none the less, before I go.

This is the first time I have had a website that has actually forced me to take a couple of aspirin, to calm my headache.

And I don’t plan on getting in the habit of popping aspirin to surf the web. Good day, and nice knowing ya.

So no. No it didn't remove it even after refreshing.

In addition, When I uploaded the two screenshots I kept getting this little popup

asking for authentication ID. After entering my username and password and hitting enter the little popup popped up again. Tried it a few more times. finally hit cancel and was allowed through to my photos.


ETA: I wasn't actually trying to deflag this thread. It was some Sorcha Faal thread.
