My profile comments are gone, just got one I never got to see. Will we be getting those back? Messages don't pop up at all like they did on the old forum. I was used to that one. Forget about the white screen, I would pass out from that, unreadable with headache in tow. It's good we're able to darken it.

We'll have to make profile comments directly to u2u I suppose, pics and all. OMG...

And pictures upload asks for sign in at every turn. What's up with that?

It looks to me that ATS has been hijacked by a third party. What's with the mouse messages in the profiles, "their way above top secret" (old ATS rating) "Their curious way" (the old karma rating) "Total number of stars", which was always a bit wacky according to what was contained in post headings, sometimes omitting two out of three. 'My ATS' 'Logout' and the other symbols are transparant and interfere with the solid text. The reply box information at the bottom is a different caibration than other pages, with a back page message,"viewport: 852 x 550 | document: 1280 x 2019" What is that all about"

Even if its effecting a few " say 10 people or 20 or 30" its a serious issue cos we are literally feeling like a torch is in our face.

Websites add more color cos they know people suffer this way and it is suffering.... its not an over exaggeration and I am not bored . I am just trying to tell the truth and the facts here.

To have to squint when viewing a page is NOT NORMAL.

Its certainly not healthy. Squinting just to see a basic text messege.

already im getting white squares in front of my eyes when I look away from the screen.

I am also getting a headache and experiencing strange sight problems. I'm on the dark version. I am straining to make out anything, whereas before I had no troubles like this. And the light version I can't stand. I will not be able to continue here like this folks. Sad, but looks like my ATS days are over, if they are going to insist on this. I think they ought to seriously consider bringing loam onboard the design team. His version with colors already made it much better. There is just not enough contrast. It is making things very difficult to see. Ouch. I am outta here.

Like I said also, I've never had eye issues and things are definitely blurry for me after a while.
It's the longest I've been on for months though and usually it wont be an issue.... but for those here every day for an hour or so... I suppose this could be a real serious issue.


It's like going back to regular TV after watching in HD for so long LOL

im so sad...im on a dell laptop. windows 7...as im typing this my leters are huge!! and then when i tried to check a message, i couldn't read it..the text was super tiny!! and there was no reply button to respond. also when i try to look at my images i have uploaded it says i need a username and password...nothing works. any idea as to why these things are happening? i it still glitches? im sorry if im bothering...

There's been a lot of commentary in this, and other threads related to the new design on how to toggle between the two UI color schemes.

Use the right-most icon in the main menu -- looks like a black/white cookie, or half-moon.

try hitting ctrl - and ctrl + to adjust the text and web size

I had to adjust the text size at first because it was so big

Yes well I didn't think I ever had an issue until the website suddenly changed.

I was just looking through other websites and noticed they always have colored banners, not so much blank light spaces.

I mean I sometimes change the color layout on webpages because certain colors are hurting my eyes when they are the dominant color. I don't know how much research has been done about this. And why we accept more colors kindly than others but this is just the case.

And ultimately , people leaving cos they are feeling a torch in their eyes is not fair.. if you think about it. Even if we are a minority, I mean what should we do wear sunglasses?

I don't understand. Did you not click the "very top, far right, half moon", Icon?) It will make it gray (if yours is white)...is that it???

Yes I did do the half moon icon its either too BRIGHT OR WAY TOO DARK.

Either way I am unable to read the website comfortably. Meaning my eyes cannot navigate through the colors.

Other colors medium ones I would be able to comfortably without strain.

It doesn't sound like you're seeing the same thing our beta testers -- including during the 24 hours of open beta testing for all members -- who all generally loved the darker option.

Can you post a screen shot?

Congratulations on the new look of ATS.
This must have been an enormous job, sofar everything seems to work just fine.

It works like this, if 90% of over is of a color your eyes cannot take. Then you are finished.

If 30% is a color you cannot take you can survive it.

The right top corner is a round circle half white and half dark, hit that button.
