Even if its effecting a few " say 10 people or 20 or 30" its a serious issue cos we are literally feeling like a torch is in our face.

Websites add more color cos they know people suffer this way and it is suffering.... its not an over exaggeration and I am not bored . I am just trying to tell the truth and the facts here.

To have to squint when viewing a page is NOT NORMAL.

Its certainly not healthy. Squinting just to see a basic text messege.

Your right yknow. I used to spend hours (yes I know) on this site, im gonna have to take breaks, I cant take it, its too bright.

Either way I am unable to read the website comfortably.

The current dark option is the result of tweaking via member input during out 24-hour open beta test. I just refined the colors a bit. Let me know if there's an improvement.

But understand... we had two rounds of active member input, but through weeks of members helping with private beta testing, and a long list of (mostly) acted upon suggestion through the 24-hour test. We opened up to lots of feedback.

I don't know how to do a screen shot. I am currently on the " white and grey " one. The dark grey one I cannot navigate.

Maybe I am not the majority on here I accept that .

But as I have said there are members who would need a more " medium color" and we aren't being selfish, its literally a " need" in order to participate.

Just one more thing...

When I hit the flag button to remove a flag I had given a thread, it doesn't remove it. Is my browser janky, or is there a glitch in the potato salad?

Yes just check out a thread that can have stars nog a Board thread. It doesn't need to reload the page like before so actually really great.

I Much prefer the dark. without it, would spend hours dickering around with my desktop colors.



You could even go darker than right now...

please contrast the font in the size/color dropdown. it is too light of gray with the white

The background color is fine in dark mode, I'm not sure how you are going to please everyone.. but if I could make a suggestion, in dark mode, I think it would be easier to read if the font color was closer to the color of links, like mine below my sig.

This to me is a really light Hue color.

Its not a definite color, and that's prob why I am really struggling to read anything.

My brain likes more contrast I think that's what it is.

I admire how people can use the website either way. Their eyes are just more trained or adaptable.

You changed the default from light to dark?

Looks better. That half-moon icon wasn't doing anything when I clicked it, though it was obviously working for some people.

The remove flag feature may need a page refresh but you see it.

Wow, since I never read my Pms, this is going to take a minute to adapt.. I'm sure some may complain.. We know how people love change..

When I first checked in I thought it was a redirect.. Tried 3xs, before it dawned on me.. Doh!!

Just wanted to add my reply in saying the new format sucks, thanks for changing something for no reason to make the site worse.
