Dang!! lol I started reading page 14 of the complaints and finally understood it wasn't me clicking on use desktop. Im so depressed... lol i really dont mind change but geezzz you can't see as much w/ the newer version.... And im using mobile. Its to big and blocky. Anyways... Well, they just switched it back, and I have to say, there is no question the visual look of the old site is MUCH better in my opinion.

The new approach has terrible contrast and atrocious font size in either the light or dark option. The real estate use in any browser is also terrible in my opinion. And frankly, the absence of color just makes the site feel like it was issued prison clothing at the Gulag...

I get that things need improvement over time, but this new direction really diminishes the look and feel of the site.

Just not my cup of tea.

But as I've said many time before... Hey, it's their asset to damage change as they see fit. There are more important things in the world.

I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone....

This present ATS site is easy to navigate, easy to read, just plain good on the eyes. What I just witnessed reminded me of Windows 8...... Please reconsider.

I was wondering how long that would take given the numerous bugs.
o well ... these things take time I suppose they have to be tested live at some point

THANK GOODNESS! Back to normal! I checked out the new site on mobile though and it does look good THEIR.

Well was ill a while and been working a lot too.

We'll get used to the changes, we always do - some things seem better, one or two not so.

Well we do and I know ATS loves a good old unnecessary change, it's like they get bored or itchy mouse fingers, dunno what it is?

As for the content on ATS and it becoming just another social networking site - I can see that, but a lot of it is Farcebook, Twatter etc changing people's expectations.
It sometimes feels that substance and reasoning are becoming things of the past.

Oh exactly mate, It's not just ATS at all, but ATS should not use that as an excuse either, they should resist.
Remember why the site was started and what its core foundation and purpose was.... not clamour to be the next twatter,

There's plenty of decent sites I visit for Football, news, science and other things, it's not like every single website is selling out and doing this, but yeah... shame cos this is one I spent a lot of time on and made some good mates.
