I'm in total agreement with you there mate! Every war in recorded history has had religious implications to one degree or another and Christianity has been at the heart of many, that's why organised religion is such a useful control construct. One would consider the notion elegant if it was not steeped in the countless blood of millions of innocent souls!

And that's just recorded history. Could be billions of Souls!

With Jinns you just need to remember who and what you are for me I suppose my beliefs are more paganistic than anything else so I just remind it the strength of my belief and most of all that I am living and hold my own strength and soul in this realm, this has never failed for me with Jinn. Free will and the respect of it is a powerful thing it is usually enough for any spiritual being you may encounter.

Safe to say with all things though if you don't like it stay away, respect it and step back. Same can be said to the religious saying this or that you must do to be saved I think Jesus was a great man and religions are good when practiced properly without the preaching and converting.

Have you ever used Ouija boards or anything like that?
Things like that are bad and can have you haunted for life, other than that I'd suggest just demanding it leaves if that is what you want and if that does not help seek a priest/shaman/witchdoctor (whatever feels comfortable with you) for help.

It sounds like a demonic entity. There are some examples that I can think of, but I don't wish to scare you further and I really don't think that matters. I have advice for you which was very useful for me in my own experiences with the demonic (if you'd like to know about mine, you may go to my profile and read one of my early threads on 'demonic possession.') I know this might sound silly, but it did work for me. These things are affected by positive religious names and symbols. In my case, I found that commanding it to "leave in the name of Jesus Christ, The Lord," was helpful. But since then I have learned that Archangel Michael is a better force to call upon. Pray to Archangel Michael and ask for his protection from this evil and you should receive his help. He fights off evil entities like this and is known as the Patron Saint of the Exorcist.

I do not know how this even works (I am not Christian or anything,) but I was given the advice and despite my lack of faith in it, for me it worked. Good luck, and if there was anything more that I could do or answer for you, please ask or let me know.

Don't know about the Satan part, Man seems to be quite capable all on his own for the inception of war in general, apparently that's free will for you! I don't see any other Mammals building WMDs. LoL
