They are TRULY EVIL

So here we sit, in an already financially bombed out country with 50 million plus people on food stamps and god knows how many unemployed or under employed, with people living in the streets and eating out of dumpsters and we're worried about North Korea and Iran and all the other "potential evils" in the world when the true evil is comfortably perched on Wall Street with their ill gotten too big to fail gains.

The trees will fall on us while we gaze at far away forests.

First picture is an early nuclear device. Second picture is a Photoshop. This post was a joke, a funny one too.

I am not sure if you a serious, but if you thought the second photo is legitimate, I must really question the intelligence of people posting on ATS.

Your totally right, there' are TRULY EVIL in our very own countries but as human beings we can't deny the suffering of others in this world. The world isn't as big as we think it is, we are more connected then you think.

Received via email:

The U.S. Embassy informs U.S. citizens that despite current political tensions with North Korea there is no specific information to suggest there are imminent threats to U.S. citizens or facilities in the Republic of Korea (ROK). The Embassy has not changed its security posture and we have not recommended that U.S. citizens who reside in, or plan to visit, the Republic of Korea take special security precautions at this time. The U.S. Embassy takes as its highest priority the welfare of American citizens in Korea. Should the security situation change, the Embassy will issue updated information.

We urge U.S. citizens to keep in regular contact with family and friends. U.S. citizens living or traveling abroad are encouraged to enroll in the Department of State’s Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP), to receive the latest travel updates and information and to obtain updated information on travel and security issues. We encourage you to read the Emergency Preparedness Section of the Embassy website. You can also get global updates at the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Consular Affairs website where you can find the current Worldwide Caution, Travel Warning, Travel Alert, and Country Specific Information. U.S. citizens without Internet access may register directly with the appropriate U.S. Embassy or Consulate. By registering, U.S. citizens make
it easier for the U.S. Embassy or Consulate to contact them in case of emergency.

April 15th - the dear, esteemed, venerable, beyond reproach, inventor of the stars and supplier of the world's oxygen, Kim Ill Sung's birthday - is the date to watch.

So should we try to "fix them" first or should we clean up our own act first? Cleaning the bankers out of New York and London and at the WB/IMF would go a long damn ways toward cleaning up the misery in the rest of the world.

Sorry kiddo, the ruling elite don't see ANY of us as humans, we're all "problems that need to be managed" and too many of us agree with that evaluation. Its mind bending.

Actually I never mentioned whether I thought if the picture was legitimate or not.

Condescension is usually impolite and in this case given that I didn't mention whether or not I thought the photo was photoshopped or not is condescension unjustified.

Usually and indication of pompousness and inferiority complexes.

You sound like you could use some coffee to steady your nerves. Please do, just don't pay with cash or you will wind up on the terrorist watch list at DHS. On the plus side, with DHS taking tips on coffee customers paying with cash; if a NK missile stops in for coffee, and pays cash, they could get a tip on the missile's coordinates, and our handy dandy gub'mint might save us.

Again, couldn't agree with you more…this is a very messed up world and getting worse day by day but with all my own problems I still won't revert to being aloof about other peoples struggles no matter where they're from. I think I've become more sympathetic living in an extremely messed up /poor country for the past ten years…I couldn't give it up even if I wanted to, it's just not in me.

You're welcome.

This is an interesting read as well.

QUESTION: Just – can I follow up just a little bit on that? I mean, so are you then saying that there’s some concern in this building and within the Administration perhaps that the movement of military assets to Guam and the statements by Secretary Kerry on Tuesday and then Secretary Hagel yesterday may actually be serving to elevate the tension rather than defuse it at this point?

MS. NULAND: That’s not what I’m saying at all. What I said at the outset, as you’ll recall, which was very similar to what Secretary Kerry said and what Secretary Hagel said, was that in the context of the kinds of moves that the DPRK has made, rhetorical moves and other moves, it’s incumbent upon us to take prudent steps to defend the United States, to defend our allies, to be prepared for necessary deterrence, et cetera. That is reflected in the moves that you’ve seen announced from the Pentagon, et cetera. That said, we continue to make the case that it doesn’t have to go this way. The DPRK could choose a different course, and the President said that himself.

Cami.

QUESTION: Thank you.

QUESTION: I’m just wondering, do you have – does the U.S. have independent confirmation about this missile of considerable range being moved to the east coast, or was the U.S. notified by South Korea that they had detected it?

MS. NULAND: I don’t have anything I can share in this format, besides what you’ve seen in the press. I’m sorry.

QUESTION: Just to follow up on --

QUESTION: On --

MS. NULAND: Please. Please.

US embassy warning will probably kinda be useless. Unless it just says BOOM! it will probably just be more platitudes. Nothing to worry about, we will keep you posted. Modern technology sucks.
