Winter is Coming....

The book set is on it's way. All (that's available) for about $30. I thought that was pretty good. I will probably wait until it's cold, so I can sit in front of the fireplace with a glass of cognac to start them. That's how I do it down here.

I really enjoy you guys! Now if I could only get Mason to cook something for me....

I hope they will. They sound complicated. I wouldn't mind having some easy reading. I don't know if I want all those connections, and tangents, and histories with long winded explanations. We'll see.

It may seem intimidating, but Martin has the type of writing style I prefer, lush and beautiful world building crossed with an easy to read structure. He is not so overly poetic with his descriptions as to make them seem like hurdles to get over but gives just enough to let your eyes glide over the page while still leaving a clear image in your mind.

He isn't too hard to read or follow, but there is so much to remember.
