Maybe a touch of Stockhorse syndrome...who wouldn't?

Now Little fingers end was reduced to a sniveling snodgrass. None of the mind came out.

"Sisters doing it for themselves!"

One step closer to Sansa becoming queen...she outplayed Cersi and Littlefinger. Flacid Jon will be a walk in the park.

That's what I don't get.

Jons the heir how is she his aunt?

Cousin makes more sense.

From memory in the book they say Vicerys looks just him.
Dany looked just like Queen Naerys.

I got to call out the most ignorant scene of the night.

Bran and Friar tuck.

Bran I can see things.

Then turns around and asks 'what are you doing here'.

AND!

did even know bout the secret marriage until TOLD about it.

Come on.

Continuity fail.

Tyrion convinced Danny to leave Dario and the second sons behind so she could marry for politics..

Personally I think he wants her just as bad as jorah, the look on his face when she made the he's to little comment says it all..then the crushed look on the boat was him reserving a seat in the friend zone as mentioned before.

I also think Tyrion Will come around to them getting together And realize Jon is the perfect match for her, he is tempered and contemplative, she is unleashed fury and all that..

Jon's father is Dany's brother and he was the heir to the throne. Therefore Dany is Jon's aunt.
Jon's father is is the line of succession, not his sister Dany. Therefore Jon is the next in line to the throne.

Unrequited bittersweet love. And ol George said it wouldn't be predictable!

In the shows defense, Bran has to seek out the information. It's not just granted.

What is curious is if there is a fate or is there will that changes the future.

I don't think his books will be like this.
There are about 70% of missing characters, intricacies and scenes.
The TV show is a little...

That is how I rationalized it as well.

Maybe this will spur bran to dig deeper into other questions he thinks he has complete answers to.

Now my take off my rose colored glasses version;

The writers without the benefit of the books to go off, had to come up with a gimmick to give the fans the rheagar flashback they wanted..
And somehow picked the most clumsy script that quickly excreted itself from the writers rooms unusually loose sphincter..

Oh snap!

Exactly. Would be the biggest middle finger if he changed the ending in the books.
I'm hoping he does.

That could be a series all on it's own! Through Bran, visit the history of Planetos.

I think George could, even should, speak into a tape recorder and at least, and give the BIG PLAN. You know? His thoughts on what happens, The General Idea, and then writers could fill in the dialogue.

How hard could that be? Surely they aren't just writing the last season blind.

If I am not mistaken, I think he did give them an outline. this is where D&D took it...

Edit too add:

They are out of source material, so even with a rough outline they still have to connect the dots.
This leads to remedial dialogue, and clumsy gimmicks to force pivotal scenes ultimately resulting in disgruntled fans whinging on ATS..

Yeah totally, the book is less about these "popular characters" and more about everything in Essos. History, magic, 'gods' .

The Euron Greyjoy and his brother Victorian story is so intriguing in the later books and coming up in WoW, that it is totally disappointing they don't have his travels on the show. He went to old Valeria, the only man to sail and survive the doom. He came back with a valerian steele suit, a dragon horn that controls dragons and a blood stone in his eye. He is the Vader in the books.

In the books I think we will find there is an emperor/s...someone or people manipulating him, manipulating Dany, someone who knows the long night is coming that will block out the sun and allow the Others to move across the planet.

Oh and reading the books again I came up with a suspicion....maybe just maybe Dany isn't Jon's aunt......
eeeeeee!

I wish we could have had at least a little scene on Bran filling Sansa in on Littlefinger's manipulations.

He died saying "I..... I".

Any guess as to what it was? I'm sure it wasn't "I'm a lying scum sociopath who doesn't care anything about anyone but myself, and I thought if I made everybody hate everybody else, I could eventually be King".

No. Not that.

Boom! Needle to throat! Or was it his own dagger? I'll have to catch it next go-round.
