Even Tyrion agrees, no one can out-brood Kit Snow.

Speaking of Tyrion, I hope he gets some good lines in with his sister.

I'd say you got your wish. Tyrion killed it!

Definitely some stuff I liked about the finale but overall I was disappointed.

George has had nothing to do with the show since S3 (I think) and although he gave them some main plot stuff does not mean they are following it. I just mean to say that I don't think Jon banging his aunt is the bittersweet he refers to at all. I don't think he likes the show anymore. He went out of his way this season to say he wasn't even watching it. GRRM is a far better author than D&D and in my honest opinion the show has been on a downtrend since his involvement in it ended. D&D seem to have lost interest as well, since they moved their focus onto a poorly timed show about an alternate history where the South won the Civil War (could be interesting though). I don't think D&D give a # about GoT anymore. They have their fat stacks of cash and the audience. Good storytelling be damned at this point.

There is a reason GRRM doesn't watch it anymore and it isn't because he is too busy with other things.

And why in the hell is he telling Sam about it? Stupid ass show is doing nothing but dangling fruit for the masses and hype. All Bran did this season was tell people he had # to tell Jon.

I'm not even excited for next season. I couldn't give less #s about it.

Not much I would take argument with in your statement. The show indeed has lost it's depth. The whole feel of it now is as though they are just hitting bullet points on their path to the end.

I will say this however, having Jon(Aegon) and Danny be related adds that dynamic to their relationship and could maybe even should be the manner on which they are not together in typical fantasy fashion. Also, having a child, which I presume will happen given all the poignant evidence, certainly seems like more of the same.

Voice over, Brandon Stark: "...and the rightful heir to the Iron Throne."

Cut to scene, interior ship.

Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen engage in incest. Audience creeped out. Again.

Oh, and I lost half my bet when LF got the chop. Although I did cheer that.

That's what I don't get.

Jons the heir how is she his aunt?

Cousin makes more sense.

Jon's father, Rhaegar, was Dany's older brother. So yes, Dany would be Jon's aunt.

I wonder what the odds are of Daneyers kid getting called a stark and Jon ends up like Ned ?

Bitter sweet ending ?

It would be more likely that Tyrion dies, and Dany goes full-blown mad king on everybody.
She's probably already preggies.

Dany needs to bomb the ww's with the wildfire Cercei used to blow up the sept. Roll it off a dragon, baby!

Any bets on when Jon and Dany find out their related ?

MY guess is not until much later in the season.

The Ice king just busted through the wall.

Jon and Company are en route to winterfell.

So I am guessing everyone flee's, and Winterfell gets over run.

White Walker army gets fresh recruits, and they all meet up somewhere else for the final battle.

Upon their arrival to Winterfell. Samwell it seems, has been charged with telling him, and Samwell will consider it good news since Jon is heir to the throne.

Dany might want to continue the relationship with Jon, but Jonny "do-right" probably won't. I still harbor hope that she discovers her true love is Tyrion. call me crazy.

oh. Dragons eat a diet high in methane gas, or they make it themselves. It's true!! : )

Jons actually met two of them now.

Relatives that is.

At the night's watch and Dan's.

I just don't see it.

Either way J and D won't end up together.

And now we've gotten the family tree history.

I'm alright with it.

That's what I'm hoping for, at least on the latter part. I really want to see how she reacts to learning that Jon has a much stronger claim to the IT than she does and whether her ego can accept it. I don't think she can.

Speaking of reactions, I wonder how that Bran-Jaime meeting at Winterfell is going to go next year?

I don't know why, but I had to look it up.

In the Netherlands it's completely legal to do what Jon and Dans did.

So, I was happy with the finale. It had just about everything that we speculated about. It figures that Cersei would not hold to her word and that Jamie would. Whatthat gets in the end is anyone's guess.

Bronn seems to have some major role to play in all of this, imo. Just the way his character was used in the finale gives me that feeling.

Jamie and Brienne's meeting was a little anti climactic but there is something there. His going North gives me the feeling they do end up getting together.

Jon and Dany getting it on was pretty predictable too and yes, I agree with everyone that says she gets pregnant with his child. And as a foreshadowing I think, imo anyway, early on in the first book, Viserys says that dragons wed dragons, or something close to that. Speaking of which, it was nice to see Viserys make a cameo as Rhaegar.

I was kinda hoping Arya put Catspaw in LF forehead but the quick slash works too. As soon as I seen the scene with him and Sansa, I knew his days were numbered. Arya passing Catspaw to Sansa said everything about what was to come.

And the Cleaganes face off, there is no doubt about that now, imo.

Overall, it wasn't bad and left me wanting next season. Now I'm going to go back and read what you all think about it.

Yup and Maester Aemon had a role in shaping who Jon is now.

Boom! Needle to throat! Or was it his own dagger? I'll have to catch it next go-round.

It was Catspaw.

Thanks! I caught it on the second watch last night. Arya couldn't have selected a better person to break it in on!
Good riddance to the massive trouble maker, although his conspiracies were interesting (and effective).
