I think he's knows the amount of backlash he'll receive when the story concludes will be massive. Regardless of how good it is in its entirety, people will just be mad that it's over.

When he started asoiaf, he may very well had a truly unique conclusion, now it may not be the case and he's perhaps struggling with that.

I did read however that the conclusion is outlined in the first book according to GRRM.

I think the amount of time that has lapsed since the first book has allowed fans to calculate every possible permutation of endings and many, by default, have figured out the correct ending, so the fans digging through the fans sites will be disappointed.

I used to post on Westerosi frequently but I don't want to get spoiled so I stopped, plus most of the posters are just so miserable about both the books and the series. Just enjoy it.

He's also claimed that as well. Somewhere on these webs someone figured it. I like delving into the histories of the valyrian weapons, those are fun.

Reddit and a few YouTubers also have unique views. Good thing is, ol George keeps saying the books will not be like the show.

I almost think he has to at this point. While I'm sure part of the journey will be different I cant imagine he'll end them differently.

It pissed me off too because I saw it before it was edited. It's like some sort of ego thing to come in and ruin the episode for people who wait to watch it instead of supporting piracy.

Exactly.

I had just made repeated requests in the page prior to that. Polite requests, because this isn't my thread, it's zazzies, I'm in no position to make demands.

So as if that wasn't enough keep in mind that spoiler..A BIG EFFEN SPOILER..was thrown out there by a member who a few pages (week or two)prior said he could not watch the newest episode until Monday night..so a bunch of us promised him not to discuss it but wait until the following Tuesday...

I gotta tell you.. I took a long walk with my layna bear across the property after reading that. It takes a lot, normally, to have my ears ringing with my heartbeat...if it was twenty years ago my phone woulda went through my window..

At least he went out of his way to have a mod add a spoiler warning..that's something.

Well all that stuff is creepy, but at least it's not brother/sister rape in the septum,on the floor of the dead son of said brother and sister..

Aunt and nephew who don't know it yet who didn't grow up together is tame in comparison.still creepy..just less so than Jamie/Cercei in my opinion.

We will have two see how it plays out.
