Damn his eyes and a pox upon his house.

Maester Luwin: 'Bran, continue with your lessons, House Martin, their sigil...'

Brandon Stark: 'A fat man, lounging on a chaise.'

Maester Luwin: 'Their words'.

Brandon Stark: 'Bring me more lemon cakes!'

Maester Luwin: 'Good, good. Now, when you become the Three Eyed raven, don't creep your sister out.'

Maybe at least he's told the outline to a capable writer. Hopefully. Maybe.

Only thing I've heard was the envelope that D&D got when they became show runners that gave the entire outline.

An interesting thing that isn't in the show, and hinted at in the books is, the other "Wall". The Five Forts in Eastern Essos. I think they may play an important role. In the show, Dany went West to get to Westeros. I don't recall if Quaithe said it in the show or not but Dany is told that in order to go West, she must go East. There are some interesting parallels with both locations.

I love all the world building GRRM does.

Oh god, not them! Hahaha.

There are a couple of people GRRM might trust with it though. I can't recall their names, but they've been huge fans since the 90s. I guess he sometimes hits them up to make sure he isn't making some mistakes with things he has already written. Like changing the sex of a horse, or the color of someone's eyes.

Yeah, they got it all. Pretty soon many more people will know the actual outcome (unless Martin changes it in the novels) as they will begin filming season 8 shortly.

I'm going to assume that the books have at least a slightly different ending the the shows. I'll still buy the damn things regardless, I've been reading them for over twenty years, no sense stopping now.

Oh yeah, I knew they got some of the more important bullet points.

Certainly not all the meat though. I thought you might have been suggesting they could pick up the mantle and finish the books, if (when) Martin chokes on some of Hot Pies delicious buttered bread.

That would be a tragedy in my opinion. I think I've seen an interview where he was asked if he would let anyone finish it should he be unable to do so... unfortunately I can't recall that particular interview so not sure what his response was.

I'm leaning towards they pretty much have the same ending for the main characters since Martin likes to use his 'how many children did Scarlett O'Hara have?' analogy to defend the differences between the novels and TV series.

Oh he has a ton of great ones. Enjoy!

(Also check out Preston Jacobs to feed the addiction)

Jacobs got so into it that he has started analyzing all of GRRM other work looking for similar themes and characters.

The rabbit hole goes deep...

From what I understand they have all the plot points in detail but I doubt they could actually novelize them since it's not their forte.

My cousin works for HBO but I cannot verify this with her since this is the only show she is not involved with since it is filmed over seas.

It's a fun theory but Martin said Essos and Westeros don't connect:

5) Does Westeros connect to the eastern continent through the north?

No.

Cheesy Poof Speaks

Or he could be misdirecting.

That's too bad. It is a fun theory.

Still interesting stuff to think about, the geography aside.

Pretty sure Jon dies at the end.

The bitter sweet ending.

The lord of light brought him back for a reason.
