If Jon and 'Dannie' don't hook up now it was a waste of an episode.

Poor dragon.

I guess I missed it earlier in the series, but what happened to her that made her not to be able to have children?

The magic that brought Drogo back.

There's also a spot of prophecy that some delve into as to when she may be able to have children again.

When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east," said Mirri Maz Duur. "When the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves. When your womb quickens again, and you bear a living child. Then he will return, and not before."

Ok.,

Now I remember that.,

I was thinking somehow she would be able to.

Ice zombies, dragons, and three eyed raven.

Sure there would be a way.

As I told my slightly teary eyed woman, if you think this story has a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.

Hehe

Just a little. They revealed that in the episode after 'The Door', last season. He saved Bran and Meera at the beginning of the episode, from the pursuing Others.

As far as the books go though, Benjen is not Coldhands. According to an old leaked manuscript from GRRM.

Is there anyone who actually enjoys the show any more?

I don't mind it but feel it got really, really bad.

That's after leaving my book bias aside.

I'll still watch it though...... But meh.

One thing I do really enjoy about it though is...

Damn those CGI dragons look AMAZING!

Yes, but its definitely a mess now that they've run out of source material to draw from. I'm glad we're going to get an ending, probably the only one we'll ever get. I just hope its something that vaguely resembles what GRRM actually intended.

I still enjoy it very much and I'm looking forward to know what the actual 'bitter sweet ending' (to quote Martin) ends up being since I think he's going to be a huge let down and never finish the books.

So I found a copy of the early released ep. and watched along with everyone last night for a change instead pof having to wait until later today or tonight to watch it. I thought it was a pretty decent episode overall. I am sad that one of the dragons got turned but that wasn't a total surprise.

I do want to see what happens with Arya/Sansa. And what's with Sansa sending Brienne away? I still want to see Arya plant Catspaw into LF forehead.

So does Jon get to ride the second Dragon?

Still can't really figure what the Hounds role is. Will he become the Lord of Lights avatar on Westeros?

And when does Sam arrive back at Winterfell with the magic answer to kill the White Walkers?

Other than Valyrian steel, obsidian and dragon fire what else do you speculate there is to kill them? I thought they kind of figured it out organically without Sam but there could be so unknown method we are overlooking.

My thoughts is that is the way the dragonglass must be forged. I just get the feeling there is a surprise in store with that story line as it's been fairly predictable up to now.

Although we may not see that until next season at this rate.

Possibly. I guess he'll find something but I'm not holding out for anything too earth shaking, they even know now to drop the Night King to end everything.

I was under the impression that it was speculated up until I heard the words out of D&D's mouth.

In GoT time, he should have been there last episode! I think the Hounds role may very well be to throw rocks at white walkers! I don't know why but that was the funniest thing to me.

Some of the best lines so far are between The Hound, Tormund and Beric.

Ya, I mean Gendry made it back to the wall, had a raven get to Dragonstone, Dany got to north of the Wall and brought Jon back to Dragonstone and put him on a ship. Surely Sams Horse and Buggy could have made the trip from Oldtown to Winterfell in the same time right?

And yes, maybe the Hound's role is just to throw rocks at White Walkers. Hell, makes as much sense as anything I can really come up with.

They needed to do a better job showing the lapse of time while encircled by the Army of the Dead. Four days would have been a potentially doable turn around but they only showed the passage of possibly of 2-2 1/2 days.
