I didn't expect Cersei and Jaime to die in this one, but I'm fine with it. Tyrion lives to fight another episode. Speaking of which, he, Jon, Arya and Davos all now know what Dany really is.

I'm starting to think that everyone is going to die in this last episode.

So very anti climatic.

I honestly feel robbed in that regard.

At least the played the castamere song.. buried under there keep. Was poetic.. But Damn if they didn't waste 7years of foreshadowing..neo's comment is poignant.

Me too. I kept waiting in utter futility for him to strangle her or stab her.
It's not right they died with a bit of romance. I honestly hope she's still alive only to suffer a more degrading and horrible death next week. She's a monster.

Did you watch the "previously on" portion?

If the writers were any more on the nose, we'd have scripts mailed to our homes.

I had no issues with any of the deaths..

The Spider story line is so different than the books..
Had no issue with Clegane Bowl..Thought it made sense, no winner or loser.
Jaime and Cersei..Sure from a payoff perspective maybe would have been nice to have a Stark kill her but in the end it tied up their story lines in a way that makes sense given how they came into the world and Jaime's quote about dying in the arms of the woman he loves.

John will get Dany now, the ''fall back'' was symbolic in that Jon suddenly found himself fighting against Dany, not the Lanisters.

that or Bran, dont forget King Targerion screaming ''burn them all'' - thats definitely another 'hodor-hold the door' moment with Bran that we havent seen yet..

I can see Dany screaming ''burn them all'' as Jon approaches her for the kill, Bran takes over Dany to stop her ordering the dragons and Jon kills Dany..

I liked it. Anyone who thought Dany wasn't going to go all Mad King hasn't been paying attention to her for the past EVERY season.

Who was Varys writing that letter about Jon to?
