I'm pretty sure he's dead. The guy who made the videos is omitting critical information that's in the book as evidenced by Mance being raised by the Night's Watch and traveling to Winterfell and meeting Ned prior to becoming the King Beyond the Wall.

You are correct as you've pointed out. However, in their defense, it could be hearsay. There are no POV chapters for Mance correct?

No, but it is a first person account so it should be taken as fact.

He's not dead in the books so there should be more information forthcoming.

It's also worth noting that Dayne doesn't have to be alive to serve any part of the story. His sword and perhaps title however, do. IMO of course.

Allegedly Ned returned it to Starfall in Cat's second chapter while speaking to Ned. Could have been subterfuge on his part so only one way to find out.

Since it's only seen in the show and never referenced that I can recall, that means they may not dig into that plotline.

Well the sword stays with it's "deserving knight" not passed from father to son. It is unique that way.....

But I think the swords, the magic, the battle of the little gods is all what the books are culminating to, not the iron throne.
Westeros will have no more blood magics when the light bringer is raised by Azor Ahai and the comet falls to the earth.
Lightbringer isn't a sword anyway imo.
Lightbringer, dragons, the magicians is all blood magic, the long night, the others will be defeated and the "morning shall arise

It expands on the theory that the three kingsguard at the ToJ are alive and working together in the north to gather forces against the true enemy. The CotF

Whent=Halfhand
Dayne=Mance
Hightower=Tormund

They outline the written similarities and clues relating back to each. Further viewing of their channel would indicate a very long lineage back to the first men who were actually Valeryians.

The show however does not reflect this in the least. Brans visions would have to be complete BS if taken in their literal sense. Also, I still havn't seen them reconcile the fact that their faces would be well known.

ETA: Also the fact that the children killed wights and aided Bran seem to fly in the face of this as well....so far anyway.

Wow, this guy is like the head conspiracy theorist of GoT.

Too much line connecting where I don't think there are any. He was already wrong about Mance and I'm sure if we did some digging he'd be wrong about the other two.

Not necessarily as the story has yet to conclude. I would agree to the line connecting while ignoring some glaring impossibilities. They are not explained away, just ..ignored. So to that I would give the point in your direction.

Give em a watch. I'm still going through them as I have time and catching up on the books during the weekends. I think we have plenty (too much!) time left before we see book or show.
