Gotta love the church. Am I the only one who finds the humor in the fact that God came down and spoke to all the biblical persons of the time directly, example Moses ten commandments yet these days he can't be bothered to come down and choose his earthly representative? Anyone else see something fishy here at all? Anyone? Well My grandmother was a devout loving catholic person so in her honor now that she has passed I wish those folks the best of luck, they gonna need it.

And if one really wants to go technical on this, jorge mario bergoglio is also Gog and Magog.

But when you know its a bunch of silly ones playing role playing domination games you kind of feel like giving them lollipops and telling them to go to the corner and writing, I will learn how to love and serve the people, 1000 X.

Petrus is also known as 'rock' I think... need to confirm.

Petrus MEANS "rock" in Latin. It is a translation of the Aramaic word Kefa, also meaning "rock", obviously.

Ah, that'll be a no. Jorge Mario Bergoglio was born to italian parents. Pope Francis I has returned to his ancestral home!!

An Italian father. But he himself wasn't born in Italy. And lastly, all of Italy isn't Rome, nor vice versa.

And next we'll hear that Francis = Peter??
edit on 13-3-2013 by NOTurTypical because: (no reason given)

True. To call him Italian really is a stretch. I am 100 % sure he considers himself an Argentine.
Regarding the second part, well, technically he is not even in Italy, because Vatican is a bona fide country.
Regarding the third point... It's happening already.

Conspiracies die hard.

Houston, we have a problem. In light of the Saint Malachi prophecy about the last pope being known as "Peter the Roman" and the recently retired pope supposedly being the next to last, we are now going to see the conspiracy crowd scrambling like crazy to make any connection they can to the new pope and the name "Peter the Roman".

We are going to see some pretty wild speculation about that. But there is something else I read recently, but can't remember where, that someone took a closer look at the exact wording of the Malachi prophecy and came to the conclusion that it would not necessarily be the next pope who was known as Peter the Roman, but rather some pope who at a later time would be known by that name, and would then be the last pope. That leaves a lot of wiggle room if no one can make a Peter the Roman connection to the new pope.

Either way we are going to see some pretty fireworks in the conspiracy theory crowd.

If logics scans of ALL group thinks or religious groups is ability- done, then recognized some are evol others not in Most group thinks.

Therefore its HOPE from 1 that those who are NOT of the evol conscious STS service to Self group can maintain what has been tainted in many of the ENLILITE Abraham Influenced religious Group thinks & not just the Catholic group either.

I'm not a numerology freak, but I'm gonna point out a kinda bizarre coincidence here... Elected on 3/13/13 at 7:06 (7+6=13) kinda creepy. Just sayin... 7:06 was the local time at the Vatican btw...
edit on 13-3-2013 by Piper96 because: (no reason given)

No. He was elected at 19:06.
This is more than nitpicking because the AM/PM format simply is not used in any European country I know, including Italy. Informally (in speech), yes, of course, but that's it.

Berg means rock and mountain. So Peter.

His coat of arms has a red saturn hat, with some dna stuff which is their big game, messing with the dna, as if any of that even matters, its just lower frequency webbing really, plasma. Anyway, that saturn hat is the dark star, or black pope symbology I believe.

The apostle Peter would've scoffed at this gold-plated, costumed charade that Catholicism has become.

Mark 12:38-40 - "Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love salutations in the marketplaces, And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts: and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation."

more or less. it's akin to a state

No, it is a bona fide state and it has been since 1929. It has its own sovereign, ministers, passport - the whole deal.
Being an "enclave", territorially, it is comparable to San Marino - except in actual political power, of course.

Actually, it's well known that the descriptions of the Popes are VERY accurate up to the time period when the manuscript was "discovered." It includes details like birthplace and so forth. For the popes AFTER that time, the "prophecies" suddenly become very vague and nonspecific: "Wavy Man", for instance. "Star of the Swans" was another one.

Check the wikipedia entry to see how silly they got for the time period after publication.

Priests in synagogues... That rings the bell, i.e. Urim and Thummim, the ancient iPads, long since lost. The gold plated costumes are a feeble attempt to reproduce the splendor of these gadgets.

Just received word, that Cardinal Scola has been elected!!

My source is a text message, sent from an "anonymous source" inside the Sistine Chapel.

MSM has not disclosed this info yet.

ETA- Mod's deleted my thread on this.

Did you actually believe that a cardinal elector would be txting from inside the Sistine Chapel?
(If it's a joke, I apologize for being so humorless.
)

Since this thread is relatively serious about the topic, let me just clarify, for the benefit of those who might be interested.
Nobody is present in the Sistine Chapel during the voting, except for the electors, and they not only do not have any sort of communication device on them during the entire election period (to protect them from outside pressure and influences), but would be - per the new rules introduced by Benedict XVI - automatically excommunicated by disclosing anything at all about the voting process.

Truthfully, and putting all the conspiracy theories behind, the only issue I see with this pope so far is the headlines:

"POPE FRANCIS: BLESS ME"

CNN

I mean c'mon, being pope isn't good enough?? Lol Aren't popes the ones who are supposed to do the blessings??

You can only repair a bridge from both sides.

But since you mention that specific word - bridge - there already is a huge "bridge" figure: Mary.
She is the only female figure in the entire Quran that has a surat named after her.
There's a very good book by Jaroslav Pelikan about her role in Islam.
