I am a huge fan of the zombie apocalypse. If we were to have an apocalypse, I'd want mine to be zombie.
And we wonder what's wrong with this world...
Oh live a little-

Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't "zombies" dead and then come back to life as a zombie??
All these incidents that are happening in the news, these people are alive, NO?
I don't understand the anatomy of a zombie, but that is my understanding.

I'm with you, but I think Zombie is the new 'Sheeple'. We are just antiquated. The older you are the faster slang eludes you, no offense.

A Centers for Disease Control and Prevention official who has been charged with two counts of child molestation and bestiality for sexual acts involving a 6-year-old boy bonded out of jail Tuesday.
Kimberly Quinlan Lindsey, 44, had been held in the DeKalb County jail on $20,000 bond. According to a DeKalb County criminal warrant obtained Sunday, her boyfriend, Thomas Westerman, also was arrested on two counts of child molestation. Westerman works for the CDC as a night watchman, his LinkedIn profile states. The pair, who live together in Decatur, surrendered to authorities Sunday afternoon, said DeKalb police spokeswoman Pamela Kunz.
Lindsey, 44, serves as the deputy director for the Laboratory Science Policy and Practice Program Office at the CDC, according to her biography on the agency's website. The Emory University graduate, who's been with the CDC since 1999, was formerly a senior health scientist responsible for overseeing a $1.5 billion fiscal allocation process for terrorism preparedness.
CDC executive arrested for child molestation, bestiality
Theory
There are a few anomalies in the case, at least as it has been presented to the public, that deserve some attention before passing any judgment. First, Westerman's public LinkedIn profile shows that he had been fired from several previous positions for "insubordination," but was somehow able to gain access to a position where he would be guarding one of the most sensitive facilities in the US, one that houses critical biological contaminants and deadly viruses.
Second, who puts information about his firing history, including all the various reasons for getting fired, on his public LinkedIn profile in the first place? And why did a man with a degree in psychology and criminal justice who had held several high-level positions at various firms end up becoming a security guard at a high-risk government facility?
Then there is the issue of Dr. Lindsey's overseeing of billions of dollars worth of funds for "terrorism preparedness," as well as her previous position as senior health scientist at the CDC's Office of Public Health Preparedness and Response. Dr. Lindsey has no known history of criminal activity, and yet she is now facing some of the worst criminal charges a person can face, and ones that, if she is convicted, will destroy her entire career.
Are the charges against Dr. Lindsey legitimate, or is she being targeted for knowing too much, or for not complying with a bigger, more sinister agenda? Given the high-level positions she has at the CDC, it is not out of the question to consider a scenario in which, perhaps, she had planned to come forward and blow the whistle on government corruption, and is now being punished for it.

From 1869 to 1975, the Federal Vampire & Zombie Agency (FVZA),, also known as "the Vanguard," was responsible for controlling the nation's vampire and zombie populations while overseeing scientific research into the undead. This site is a tribute to the men and women who served in the FVZA, especially the over 4000 Agents who lost their lives fighting to keep our country safe. In addition to paying tribute to the FVZA, this site hopes to call attention to dangerous research being done at the Santa Rosa Institute: research that runs the risk of bringing back a scourge of vampires worse than any before.
-Dr. Hugo Pecos
The difficulties of American troops during the Vietnam War often are attributed to the skillful tactics of its opponent and the lack of support on the homefront. But U.S. forces were hampered by another stealthy enemy in southeast Asia: vampires.
From the beginning, combat in Vietnam's jungles presented new challenges for American troops. The army in particular was trained and equipped for a conventional, mechanized war such as what they had faced in Europe, and Vietnam, with its jungle fighting, was a new game. The Viet Cong were masters of guerilla warfare, during which they would hit troops with surprise attacks and then recede back into the jungle. They also effectively used small villages as bases and ammunition stores.
In an attempt to turn the tables, the U.S. Marine Corps developed a Civil Operations and Revolutionary Development Support, or CORDS, program, which assigned small units to patrol the villages. The Marines sought to recruit members of indigenous tribes in the mountainous region of west Vietnam to help them. But the Marines quickly discovered that the tribes were fearful of venturing into certain areas because of the presence of "ma," or phantoms. One tribe in particular—the Montagnard—spoke of reanimated corpses that haunted the jungle, drinking the blood and consuming the internal organs of people unlucky enough to cross their paths. U.S. commanders were quick to dismiss the claims as local superstition.......(continues)
Vampires in the Vietnam War
Dr. Pecos addresses the question, "do zombies ever seek revenge on the living?" The answer includes a brief description of the Devil's Island zombie outbreak of 1902.
