CDC denies rumors of zombie apocalypse

Now a U.S. Government "agency" is involved. Most likely in an attempt to quell public panic.
(as well as hide their own guilt)

With the recent onslaught of cannibals and zombies worldwide, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has formally denied that a zombie apocalypse might be underway in the U.S.

(The CDC is one of the major operating components of the Department of Health and Human Services)
(HHS = "ObamaCare" dictatorial agency !!)


Background

A man in Miami chews the face off another man, allegedly while under some kind of drug-induced psychosis.

Another man in New Jersey goes insane and slices his belly open, then throws his own intestines at police.

Yet another man in Maryland admits to eating his roommate’s heart and brain.

A Canadian snuff film actor admits to murdering, dismembering, raping and eating a young victim, mails body parts to a newspaper, then goes on the run.

Finally, doctors take it upon themselves to calm a panicked public as the media hyperventilates over a Georgia woman whose leg had to be amputated to stop the spread of flesh-eating bacteria, now known to infect thousands of Americans every year.

Letter sent to Huffington Post by CDC

In a letter sent to a Huffington Post reporter on Thursday the CDC formally denied that a zombie apocalypse might be underway in the U.S.

“CDC does not know of a virus or condition that would reanimate the dead (or one that would present zombie-like symptoms),” an agency spokesman explained.

The CDC "started" this ??

The CDC has previously used “zombie preparedness” to promote understanding of disaster readiness and even keeps a “zombie blog” full of “teachable moments” from popular zombie lore like AMC’s “The Walking Dead” television show.

I don't understand the anatomy of a zombie, but that is my understanding.

Technically yes - Zombies are supposed to be dead, but like many words Zombie has gotten a broader cast. The reality is a Zombie is a mindless killing and eating machine driven by a singular desire.

What is really the scare here is the rampant increase in the reports. Now, if you go with the I am Legned mindset, maybe there is a rabies like sickness going around, who knows. In the end, when it comes it will most likely be by an enemy we cannot see, taste, smell or hear.

or more likely the world is getting crazier by the minute becase there are just too many of us and we are out of balance with Nature, and she will right that imbalance one day.

Or...a real zombie came to your door on Halloween and you sent him away with a bag full of candy...therefore thwarting the zombie apocalypse because they like Snickers better than brains.

its live footage of the whole thing happening including him dragging his victim, chewing his face off and then police arriving at the scene and at the very end of the video you see both their legs just lying there then his victims leg sort of twitches while the zombie attacker is completely still after being shot dead.

i was at the beach not too far while this was happening. crazy stuff

Or a mindless consumer, I guess zombies have been around all along too bad being healthy and dieting is no longer desirable. I don't know why all the threads though, lets give the subject a few days and everyone will forget it ever happened.

You are correct.

At least as far as the "official" and "generally accepted" definitions go.


What we Don't know is whether or not any Japanese radiation has affected the Zombie DNA structures.

It could also be a malfunction of genetically modified food.

Vampire modification could be involved also.

Bath salts have been connected to a range of violent incidents and a spike in emergency room visits since they became popular several years ago. Last fall, the Drug Enforcement Administration banned three chemicals used in bath salts, and 38 states have enacted their own bans, but incidents continue.

now do you see why i say DOW chem company might be, the chem's in bath salts, and why this is not a CDC concern is beyond me, for do they not over see poison control

Yea i just saw the pictures of the guy who had his face chewed off.

It wasn't just a piece here and there, it was his entire face... ENTIRE face... nose cheeks left eye upper lip eye lids forehead hair.... like the whole guys face. Seriously looks like a bear attack victim.

As horrible as it is.. its utterly fascinating. I would relish the opportunity to be inside the guys head who did the chewing. To be there in the moments leading up to the whole event, why he took his clothes off.. why he picked that random homeless dude why the face?

Anyone heard of any recent toxicology reports yet?

A Centers for Disease Control and Prevention official who has been charged with two counts of child molestation and bestiality for sexual acts involving a 6-year-old boy bonded out of jail Tuesday.

Kimberly Quinlan Lindsey, 44, had been held in the DeKalb County jail on $20,000 bond. According to a DeKalb County criminal warrant obtained Sunday, her boyfriend, Thomas Westerman, also was arrested on two counts of child molestation. Westerman works for the CDC as a night watchman, his LinkedIn profile states. The pair, who live together in Decatur, surrendered to authorities Sunday afternoon, said DeKalb police spokeswoman Pamela Kunz.

Lindsey, 44, serves as the deputy director for the Laboratory Science Policy and Practice Program Office at the CDC, according to her biography on the agency's website. The Emory University graduate, who's been with the CDC since 1999, was formerly a senior health scientist responsible for overseeing a $1.5 billion fiscal allocation process for terrorism preparedness.

Theory

There are a few anomalies in the case, at least as it has been presented to the public, that deserve some attention before passing any judgment. First, Westerman's public LinkedIn profile shows that he had been fired from several previous positions for "insubordination," but was somehow able to gain access to a position where he would be guarding one of the most sensitive facilities in the US, one that houses critical biological contaminants and deadly viruses.

Second, who puts information about his firing history, including all the various reasons for getting fired, on his public LinkedIn profile in the first place? And why did a man with a degree in psychology and criminal justice who had held several high-level positions at various firms end up becoming a security guard at a high-risk government facility?

Then there is the issue of Dr. Lindsey's overseeing of billions of dollars worth of funds for "terrorism preparedness," as well as her previous position as senior health scientist at the CDC's Office of Public Health Preparedness and Response. Dr. Lindsey has no known history of criminal activity, and yet she is now facing some of the worst criminal charges a person can face, and ones that, if she is convicted, will destroy her entire career.

Are the charges against Dr. Lindsey legitimate, or is she being targeted for knowing too much, or for not complying with a bigger, more sinister agenda? Given the high-level positions she has at the CDC, it is not out of the question to consider a scenario in which, perhaps, she had planned to come forward and blow the whistle on government corruption, and is now being punished for it.

Bath salts my ass. Do you know how long bath salts have been around? seriously? We would hear A LOT more about these types of incidents if it were bath salts.

Anyway, not saying it is zombies but one never knows in the world we live in today..(crazy)

Nah, this is a new group, they're "born again zombies". They don't have to actually die now, they just get their minds reformatted like a hard drive, take an oath, go to meetings once or twice a week and they get all the perks and promises that being a good little zombie can bring them.
