CS74 - The answer is yes.

Lipo C will help your skin.

But more important, Lipo C will help your Polymyalgia Rheumatica.

It will help all your muscles, joints, skin and bones and more.

Please read the threads in my signature.

You will probably need large doses, multiple times a day. Will your helpers make it for you?

I would be happy to answer any specific questions for you.

Ektar, thanks for the update.

Remind me again, how much and how often are your taking Lipo C?

Thank you Julie,

There were so many posts that I didn't read them all but I was certainly interested in what you had to say and the responses from others.

I wanted to get my question in before I even read the rest, just for some hope.

So I will look at the instructions for making, again, and see about having someone do it, or if I can, as my arms are good as long as I am on Steroids, if not they weaken and pain.

I appreciate your same day reply as I was at my wit's end, and knew not where to go or what to say in a thread of my own and express it for what it is!

Thank you

I had the funniest 'dream' this morning. It wasn't really a dream. I regularly have this experience where I'm basically being given "instruction" and then I wake up, feeling that I have been woken up on purpose so that I can remember it. I assume this is my subconscious, which due to a lifetime of lucid dreaming and self-hypnosis is a little more active than usual, it seems.

I was told that "The liver food and repair juice" that I had been sometimes taking, that I needed to take more of it, more throughout the day and more regularly for ongoing days. That was literally how it came across: the 'Liver food and repair juice.' I believe this meant Lipo-C since I am not at the moment or for some time taking anything else that could be thought of in such a way.

I've been having issues with my right leg, and I was told that there was some tissue damage, and that the liver needed to repair this, but the liver was itself damaged (I suspected as much). The info was that this was evidence: that injury in the body anywhere that does not heal promptly, directly or indirectly reflects liver issues. Well it seemed obvious at the time anyway...

I thought that was pretty funny. Liver "food and repair juice!" Apparently this is how my body perceives Liposomal-C!

Hi, I wonder if anyone can shed some light on my liposomal vit c problem I have made 3 batches now and been having good results with this however on my 3rd batch I decided to perform the bicarb soda test to test for encapsulation. The results of this test was the liposomal solution I added the bicarb too fizzed over the top of the glass! How can this be I have made the 3rd batch the same as the first 2 and I had great results taking them with no gastric distress etc. does this really mean I have a lot of unencapsulated C?

Thanks,

Hi Julie sorry for the late response. I've been taking 3 oz ~ 3 times a day.
I plan on upping my dose when I get more ingredients....so probably after
the first of the year.
I saw my surgeon last Thur & he wants me to try aquatic therapy a few times a
week for 2 to 3 months. I'm still having sciatic pain from 4am until about 6am on the
left side which is the new hip. I still have alot of stiffness & some off & on pain.
It's only been 3 months since surgery.
I would be healing much faster had it been a break...but my joints all shifted to
compensate for the left leg being 1" longer than the right for ~ 2.5 yrs & he said
again that it was going to take me longer to fully recover. Everything has to slowly
reposition itself back to normal & it will take time.

I cannot imagine what I would feel like without the Lipo Vit C! I could hardly get
around prior to taking it last March & me surgery was 27 Aug. I was able to almost
hide the symptoms since I had started the regime. But I was still having difficulties,
not as much pain & able to get around pretty well...couldn't stand on 2 feet & I can now!

What dose are you on now? I never decreased mine, just stayed the same. I want to increase
due to the anxiety & ADHD...from what I've seen the dose needs to be I think at least
12,000 to 14,000 mg/day? Red Cairo will probably chime in on that one, LOL!
Can't afford meds for ADHD any more so I'm upping the Vit C, plus I take Vit D 10,000u,
Vit Bs, Ca, Mag, Pot, Zinc, Naicinamide, Valarian Root, the oils, sorry just off the top
of me head so I probably left something out.

Cheers
Ektar
PS Yes I know my avatar is messed up...I'm totally new at it & trying to get it right.
I might have to visit our people for help.

Ektar,

Is that 3 oz per day total - or 3oz 3x a day for a total of 9?

Important to know.

After a year of taking it, I have found that 3oz total per day is NOT enough.

3 oz per day is just barely enough for my body to combat daily aches, pains and sinus.

I'm beginning to believe that we really need a 2oz shot 3 to 4 times per day just to keep minor issues at bay.

If you are combating a cold, flu or serious health issues you should be taking at least 2-4 oz every 3 hours.

I just did myself keeping bronchitis and pneumonia at bay and it worked.

My problem is remembering and timing to take it. It must become habit. My protocol:

2 oz before coffee and breakfast at 6am
2 oz before lunch around noon
2 oz before dinner around 6

And if I was a really good girl 2 oz before bed

But I am not meeting the above schedule as I am forgetting to take it... but it is my goal.

This stuff works.

Yesterday after moving about 20 boxes of files that weighed between 20-40 pounds I was really sore when I woke up this morning. Since I knew the effect Lipo C had on the muscles I took a 2oz shot in the morning as soon as I woke up and 2oz shot again 2 hours later and all my muscle aches were COMPLETELY gone within the next hour

Hi Julie,

I take a 3oz shot 3 times a day & will up that after the holidays to 4 times
a day or 4oz 3 times a day. I think it would be better to stretch it out
for a better effect.
I can really tell a difference if I'm running low & back down or miss a few
days. So far I have not been sick once since I started the regime. I hope
we all continue to stay healthy throughout the holidays & beyond.

I need to order more ingredients. I think I will try a different Vit C supplier
even though the last batch worked fine it did not want to easily dissolve.

Are you still pretty close to this?
4 cups distilled water
8 tab (because I use liq Sunflower) Lecithin
1 cup distilled water
6 tab Vit C
1 cup distilled water
6 tab Bob's Redmill sodium bicarbonate

My batches have been consistent every time. Also because I don't have a stove
I make a hot water bath with the microwave (not with anything I'm consuming) to heat
up lecithin & etc. It takes forever so I started mixing the lecithin with the stick blender
in 2 batches & pouring the 1st in the sonicator with the heat on to warm it up while
I'm making the 2nd half. I stir & check temp continuously as to not over heat.

Pour in 2nd half, stir & check temp....blend the Vit C & the sodium bicarb separately
then slowly together. By this time the lecithin is the right temp & I pour the rest
of the mix in & recheck the temp & turn the heater off & the sonicator on.

I continue to monitor the heat & if it's getting too warm I put the whole thing
in the fridge to cool ~ 30 min then continue until done. I have only had to refrigerate
1 time. This method has saved me alot of time. It used to take 2:30 & now ~ 1:15 - 1:30.

Cheers
Ektar

Des I will always be grateful for you pushing the stick blender! Huge time saver & less mess!

Wow, my recipe is quite different than yours.

You use 8 Tablespoons of Lecithin in 4 cups of distilled water.
I use: 12 Tablespoon of lecithin in 4 cups of distilled water.

You use 6 Tablespoons of Vit C in 1 cup of water!!!!! I only use 3.

Are you really putting 6 Tablespoons of Vitamin C Powder in 1 Cup of Distilled Water?

Hi Julie,
Glad you posted...The Liquid measurement of lecithin is equivalent
to your dry...12 tab dry = 8 tab. liq. (2Tab Liq = 3 Tab Dry) Hope that's right.
However I took your old recipe & doubled it...LOL it should be 2 cups
of distilled water with 6 tab Vit C...
Yes I was using 6 Tab Vit C in 1 cup of distilled water, no wonder it
didn't bloody want to dissolve. What was I thinking. Will also need to double
the water for the sodium bicarb. no wonder my batch looked smaller than before.

I see that when I was using 1 Cup water / 3 Tab Vit C (from your recipe) I had changed to 1/2 Cup water with 3 Tab Vit C & 1/2 Cup water for the sodium bicarb. So when I doubled, I had double
that, forgetting you don't use the bicarb.
Wonder if this mix will work as I think it is me old one.
8 Tab Liq Sunflower Lecithin
6 Tab Vit C / 2 cups water
6 Tab Sodium Bicarb / 2 cups of water
I will have to see if my sonicator will hold that much, 2500 mls, it should be perfect.
Does that recipe seem right? I need to make it by Thursday. Thanks!!!

Cheers

Okay, your recipe looks good now....

On your next order be sure to get Vitamin C Powder, not crystals. Dissolves much easier.

why I changed it to that 1st one above...must have lost me mind.
Thanks for the tip on Vit C Powder, I didn't know that. I might also see
about Sunflower granules, less messy, but I couldn't find them when I
started in March. Will be happy to be back on track!

Amazon carries Sunflower Lecithin grandules.

www.amazon.com...=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1387308033&sr=8-1&keywords=sunflower+lecithin+gra nules

This is the Swansens Brand, which is the Brand of products I use.

Mom - unfortunately she fell again on Saturday and broke her back. She has 2 compression fractures at l2 and L3.

This is the third time she has taken a fall this year. First in February with the really back neck break and then again in June with a secondary neck break at C7.

Her healing was going so well, but her high risk of falls continually sets her back. She is not paralyzed and her prior spinal cord injury is fully healed. But now were back to rehab again.

Hi Julie,

So sorry for your mum that's terrible, I'm glad she's not paralyzed.
I'll be burning a candle for both of you.

I checked out the Amazon Swanson Vit C Powder 16oz $ (452g) $7.50 x2 = $15 plus ship

I get NutiVitaShop Vit C Powder 2.2 lbs (1000g) $18 free shipping

Amazon Swanson Sunflower Lecithin Granules 16oz $9.99 plus ship
I use Azure Standard Sunflower Liquid Lethicin 32oz $8.55 x2 = $17.10 Ship UPS $19.81
Total $36.91
Our Vit c dose will be the same so the NutriVitaShop is cheaper.
Sunflower Granules 16oz = 2.666 batches 32oz = 5.333 batches and$9.99 plus $4.99shipping
64oz = 10.666 batches = $54.95 Total
Sunflower Liq Lethicin 32oz = 8 batches 64oz = 16 batches = $36.91 Total

I will stick with what I have since it's cheaper. I posted the info in case anyone
was interested. Searching for prices can be time consuming so I like to compare
with others every once in a while to to make sure we are getting the best bang for the buck.

Hi Julie, hope all is well.

I thought I was also using the same recipe, not sure where I got mine but it's almost the same as yours, the only difference is that I use two cups of water for the vitamin C with two tablespoons in each but the lecithin is the same.

I love this stuff, it's great and works to get rid of arthritis and gout too, amazing stuff I tells ya!

The difference you are seeing is that I use 8 Tablespoons of Liquid Lethicin
& Julie uses 12 Tablespoons of granules (or dry lecithin).

Those are equivalent calculations if you read the post above. There is
a difference between fluid oz & dry oz.

I hope that helps. Please be free to ask any questions as everyone
here is willing to help.

I'm so glad I found this thread.

I'm a big believer in vitamins and supplements.

I used to take 7.5-10 g every day of chewable orange-flavored vitamin C on
Dr. Pauling's, Andrew Saul's, Dr. Klenner's and others' recommendation.

I buy the C at Costco, only to learn that I was wasting my hard-earned money on it as
most of it was not absorbed by the body. GRRR!

I live in Canada so I bookmarked that 100$ sonic on Amazon.ca. For lecithin and ascorbic, from
which websites should I buy them? I don't wanna pay excessive shipping!

And the negative trolls and comments, holy shift, they were so annoying.
GTFO of the discussion if you don't like it...

Hi, goeasy....

Welcome....

I'm in Canada, too....Victoria, BC....

I bought this Ultrasonic Cleaner thru Amazon.ca and am quite happy with it....I live alone so the size is just right for me....

www.amazon.ca...=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1387764502&sr=8-4&keywords=optima+unisex- adult

At first I thought I overpaid for it but after watching other cheaper units in the thread fail quickly I decided it was quite ok....

I baby it by cooling it down for at least 1/2 hour after each 480 second (8 minute) cycle until the foam disappears....

I've been purchasing my Ascorbic Acid and non-GMO Soy Lecithin from Swanson....they have exemplary Quality Control but their Canadian shipping costs are rising with their courier service....

I tried their Non-GMO Sunflower Lecithin but had an allergic reaction to it....

www.swansonvitamins.com...

PureBulk in Oregon uses USPS/Canada Post thus avoiding the courier associated cross border fees....
And they have frequent sales....

I've been buying Ascorbic Acid and Glutathione from them with but one border issue which I attribute to the holiday rush....

purebulk.com...-9KSM

A Bulk Barn franchise has recently opened locally selling bulk Soy Lecithin Granules....I need to go back and check whether it's Non-GMO and compare prices....

Being as it's a franchise the focus will be more on the bottom line than quality control....so, watch out Tarasco....

Both Swanson and PureBulk depend on outspoken savvy clients so they are very quality conscious....

I have been re-reading the Brooks Bradley Protocol and am transitioning from Liposomal Ascorbic Acid to Liposomal Sodium Ascorbate....more bang for my buck it seems....

michaelmooney.net...

I now recover very quickly from ambient chemical exposures....much faster than ever before....I have Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Syndrome....

My Type 2 Diabetes is not all affected by this protocol....the latest (2 days ago) HbA1C blood test is as damn near close to normal as it was three months ago....(7.2)

My doctors are quite impressed....

The Hepatitis C enzymes are still quite high....even with the Liposomal Glutathione...I will be doing another blood test tomorrow for the enzymes....

(By the way....Glutathione is Sulphur based like garlic and frequently smells like it...the old country (Ukraine) folk ate raw garlic for health and they smelled like this stuff...I love the irony....full circle....)

Hope this helps....

Tarasco

PS...if you can, wait until the new year to do your cross border shopping....this holiday rush is complicating everything....
