no to islam, no thanks, that's not for me.
are we still free enough to hate things? cause i'd like to place my vote on hating Islam.
no prophets, no daily prayers or fasting, no non nonononononono

"The most fundamental aspect of all beliefs revolves around the total acceptance of the Absolute and Perfect Creator."

and this. this is why I will never accept islam. no such thing, we are in the 21st century now.
the perfect and absolute creator is undeniably the universe which we dwell within.

No Problem. Bring it, I'll add it to the other waste of trees like the Mormon material, Jehovah's Witness brochures, and the overpriced ladies clothes catalogs that come in the mail. I use them for firestarters. Haven't been hit by lightning yet, either...

I have a theory; that the government won't allow us to grow hemp because the purity of the plant won't allow itself to be used to print drivel.

I'd be way more worried if Atlas Shrugged was in every household.

Just saying.

Just another thought: They're supposed to pray 8 times a day, right? How do they get anything done? That's a billion or more people, times 8 times a day, times 15 minutes (?) each time, doing nuthin.. Add in getting to the mosque, putting down your prayer rug, segregating the women from the men, all of it. It practically guarantees a culture where nothing in the way of real work gets accomplished, whether it's planting food or figuring out a new way of doing things.

It is, however, a fantastic method of mind control of a mass of people. It's self-induced brainwashing that puts teevee to shame.

So what does that make all the people who refuse to accept a free Bible?

If we're going to start attacking this, can we also attack all the Christians who go door to door harassing people too? How about all those bibles in Hotel rooms? How about Christianity being forced on kids in Schools?
Why is it okay for one religion, but not okay for another?

All religions want to spread the word of their religion, but somehow, when it's "brown people with beards" it's more dangerous?

Good luck to em. If it happens in the UK I will politely refuse their offer, just as I would politely refuse any literature preaching to me about another persons belief system.

I just don't get why this would be an issue to truly free thinking individuals.

Oh wait, yeah I do, it's because it's Islam, and ATS is on a "hate all the Muslims and Blacks" crusade at the moment and any opportunity people have to stoke the race/religion war they'll jump at it.

I think this is a great find FlyersFan. There are so many implications to this development, and I hope people pay attention to this one. I'm available to help elaborate or answer any points about Salafism or Islam in general that I can.

Islamic Extremism:

Salafism is an extreme understanding of Islam. The ideology seeks to completely destroy the ego and all sense of individual self, and replaces it with a militant clone persona of Prophet Muhammad. They are extremely passionate, disciplined, and intelligent, however, all of their intentions and energy is spent towards the ideology (Salafism) and the religion (Islam). From awakening to sleep, and from life unto death.... all aspects of life are completely controlled by the ideology and religion. When I say every aspect, I mean every aspect. Islam is not a religion, it's a political, military, educational, societal, and personal way of life.

Salafists seek to recreate a medieval Islamic Empire stretching from Spain and Africa to Indonesia, and everything in between. They seek to reunite all Muslim nations under an upright Calipha, and bend the non-believers into submission. Because Islamic history and eschatology speaks of jihad and war, Salafists are already in the mentality to jump into battle for the glory of Allah. And to die in battle gains some of the highest rewards, honors, and status in Paradise. Many of those who fought alongside Osama bin Laden in Afghanistan against the Russians were Salafists.

An example of why there is a present moment readiness of Islamic militants to kill Jews and non-believers:

The prophet [Muhammad] said: 'The time (of Resurrection) will not come until Muslims will fight the Jews; until the Jews hide behind rocks and trees, which will cry: "Oh Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him!" [Sahih Muslim, Book 41, Number 6985]

Royal House of Saud + Imam Wahab + bin Laden Family

The state of Saudi Arabia was founded by an alliance and pact between Muhammad bin Saud (founder of the Saud royal dynasty) and Muhammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhab (founder of Salafism).

1744 CE
"This oasis is yours, do not fear your enemies. By the name of God, if all Nejd was summoned to throw you out, we will never agree to expel you," said Muhammad bin Saud

Muhammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhab replied, "You are the settlement's chief and wise man. I want you to grant me an oath that you will perform jihad (holy war) against the unbelievers. In return you will be imam, leader of the Muslim community and I will be leader in religious matters".

- Madawi al-Rasheed, A History of Saudi Arabia: 16

To this day Muhammad bin Saud's descendant is the current king of Saudi Arabia (King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud), and Muhammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhab's descendent is the current Grand Mufti and Head Religious Leader of Saudi Arabia (Abdul-Azeez ibn Abdullaah Aal ash-Shaikh).

Now we have established the undeniable link between Salafism and the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia. Let us continue.

The House of Saud has a deep and intimate relationship with the Bin Laden Family

Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden was an up and coming contract businessman with his own construction company during the 1930's. Through various construction projects and a growing friendship with King Saud bin Abdul-Aziz bin Saud, Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden eventually rose to chief contractor of Saudi Arabia and for the House of Saud.

Let's just say.... the two families have become so close that today we have the Saudi Binladin Group.

• House of Saud ruling as kings....

• House of Wahab ruling like Salafist popes...

• Bin Laden Family in direct business with the House of Saud...

• Osama bin Laden waging jihad near and far...

• Salafists aiming to deliver Qur'ans to the whole of Germany...

Are you guys seeing where the trails meet and intersect? Where such a massive financing is coming from?

Salafis only love Muslims. They love Fundementalists Muslims the best. Why on earth would they spend so much money on an unprecedented act of charity towards non-believers that they hate?

I could puke in a basket for you, most people I know would find it equally appealing.

Not that you have a deep seated hatred against knowledge or anything, though, right?

Just because you hate Muslims? No, you said you dont hate Muslims.

So, what, exactly, is the fear of a book?

There is a Holy Bible in every Motel/Hotel room. Who cares?

It's a free book, and last time I checked books don't make people do things, people preaching THEIR interpretation of a book makes people do things.

If someone doesn't want it, they can sell it on Amazon and make a profit.

No harm no foul, I say.

I just wish they handed them out in the US before I bought my copy.

Your "pure speculation" is sensationalistic fear-mongering at best.

With your logic the Christians "are soon going to go door to door, saying, 'we put a Bible in every motel and hotel room in America and other countries. You've had plenty of time to convert but did not. Now I stone you to death.'

Ridiculous.

See, this is the problem with slogan-minded people. Have you ever read nineteen eighty-four?

It's a commentary against Totalitarianism by a Socialist named George Orwell. I'm gonna take a stab in the dark and say you don't like Socialists.

And Atlas Shrugged? Are you kidding me?

What exactly are people to be enlightened upon by reading that monstrosity of a "novel"?

What concerns me is what might happen to the people who try to "dispose" of them, if they are unwanted.

I have a beautiful copy from one of the embassies; I wanted it for study. But, I'm sure not everybody would be comfortable having one. If this undertaking is good intentioned -- fine. I suppose we have no reason to believe it isn't.

Bite Me! Not ridiculous from my point of view. I was "literally" stoned by Muslims in Paris in "95. That's right, before 911, before our troops were in Iraq and Afghanistan. My crime in their eyes was wearing khaki shorts, white T-shirt with long red hair (uncovered). The tourist bureau there did not mention the "No-Go" zones then. I was just shopping for food at a market for dinner. I saw that there were many men there gathered in the square like a bee hive, literally rubbing shoulders as tea waiters were going amongst the crowd. I had to walk through them to get to the market and looked each one in the eye as I went through. They are dead in their souls, they all had pitch black eyes, like a shark's eyes, no soul, dead, nada, nothing there. May the true, one and only G-d have mercy on their lifeless, maybe even no soul existence.

When I got to the stand I bought the stew ingredients and the second I had paid young men came up around me and starting barking.and one picked up a cobblestone and hit me in the leg with it. I yelled at them and they started coming at me, I ran as stones flew at me. I have many more accounts to share to show you how "ridiculous" these fanatics are......they want to kill, that's all they live to do, do you understand?

STM

Note: No christians I have ever met or heard about mark you as someone to kill if you do not follow their faith. That was all left behind in the Dark Ages, but the extremist Muslims do, so sad, so sick, so pathetic. I pray for the women and children raised in that environment, so twisted. There's no doubt in my mind that this "giving" of the Koran is part of a procedure, some twisted, sick plan.

Well maybe not a hate mongerer...but I'd definitely call someone an idiot if they turn down a free book! Why not accept one...Maybe you'd learn something!

Or is whatever faith you have (or don't have if you're an Atheist) so weak that it would be threatened by reading something new?
