You said:
""There is thinking differently and debating other viewpoints, then there is denouncing ridiculous ideas that are destructive, which is what I am doing. You sir or madam, live in a fantasy if you think that a one-world government would eventually become anything but a centralized, oppressive dictatorship - which would of course eventually collapse.""

Really?

Which God Died and left you to decide what is a Ridiculous Idea and what is Not? You are above and beyond an Arrogant Thinker pretending to defend the status quo while denouncing creative thought as Destructive. The only destructive element I see in this thread are persons such as yourself who think they are the gods messenger and protector and Not allowing civil discourse on the subject. You should find another hobby as I can think for myself and don't need such protection or denouncing to defend me from ''ridiculous ideas. I am fully capable of doing this for myself. If you really thought you were defending an opposite opinion then you would be able to make a post stating how you think the world should be,,, and I would read and consider your words. Until then you seem hell bent on nothing more than disrupting intelligent thought on this matter.

"""denouncing ridiculous ideas that are destructive, which is what I am doing""""
Ha ha ha!! you are such a comedian too.... lol

I don't tout it alot because people get so bent out of shape when I say it. But I believe we need a one World government as well.
We on this planet are getting to a pivotal point, if we are not already passed it. A one World government would be the only way to tackle Environmental issues, as well as get the "space race" axed and turn it into a globally funded initiative. It's getting to the time where we HAVE to prepare the technology's to make us a space faring civilization or we'll be forever chained to this planet we are out growing and destroying.
I'm not saying this is the best example, but look at shows like Star Trek, BattleStar Galactica, Babylon 5. Earth no longer consisted of Country's but was one World, with a Global government.

I think that they are trying to move us toward a one world government. At least, that's the aim. I hope that it will not happen. With the continued materialization and capitalism we see I'm not sure it could be pulled off anyways. I mean, just imagine.

I admit, just like all dreamers, I dream of Utopia. Peace on Earth and all - but the reality of it as shown through nature itself - is an actual fairy tale. The entire universe is a devastatingly dangerous place. Why would we or earth be any different? I should hope we are intelligent enough to learn through history that centralizing government has always lead to oppression and tyranny. Our diversity and cultural variety and richness is one of our more beautiful and endearing qualities. I think we should hold onto it tightly and fight like heck to keep what liberties we still have.

So let’s say in your NWO, I decide that I just don’t feel like working and want to sit on my lazy a$$ all day watching everyone do all the hard work. Are TPTB going to be sympathetic towards my laziness, or will there be a special place for people like me? I guarantee that in your NWO, someone will be holding a whip FORCING control on to those who don’t want to be controlled. I’m sorry bubb, it will never happen. AND if it does, we’ll all be sorry it ever did.

And one more thing….I really hate spinach. Especially the stuff in a can. Is there any way we can remove this vegetable from all existence?

Give me a break.....

But by and Far I agree, yet also know Humanity is capable of being Creative enough to find a way to Unify us, regardless of the Mess of the UN, USA , EU or any other form of Government. The Question is Will we stop fighting ourselves long enough to do so. I believe we must.

Funnily enough you, and others like you do not respect individuality, since you want EVERYONE to accept YOUR One World Government...

As for "evolving our conciousness and evolve into more spiritual beings?" First people like YOU have to accept the fact that despite the fact that we are made up of the same things physically, we are all DIFFERENT INDIVIDUALS/DIFFERENT SOULS/SPIRITS, and as such must be respected instead of wanting to turn EVERYONE into a robot to reach YOUR definition of spirituality...

You cannot deny that religion, which by design, divides people, and stunts human growth, must go the way of the rest of the archaic notions that the world has let go of in the name of moving forward.

Religion is as individualistic as personality is. So, to abolish religion is simply a tautology to abolish individualism. If it neither picks your pocket nor breaks your leg, why do you care if someone believes in one god, no god, or twenty gods?

If you're referring to religion i.e. organized, then even then, organized religion is simply a particularized form of collectivism. That's what one world governments and the OP's like ultimately reduce to: irrational collectivism.

Religion isn't necessarily the problem. The problem lies in the idea that religion should be allowed to exist in government or government making policies. I believe I addressed this on page 11...

Religion will still exist. I have no illusions, but it will be much more subtle, confined to the walls of homes and places of worship (like it was originally intended), and its influence on the world will be greatly reduced. This will slightly alter world culture, but the foundations of culture, the parts that really matter, should survive intact.

Religion will always exist, but having one's personal theological beliefs dictate the lives of others is a huge part of why we're unable to get along or move forwards as a species. Take a look at the direction Santorum wants to take us, or those who wish to abolish abortion or stem cell work.
If your religion states that working with stem cells is a "sin", then don't work in that field, or if abortion is murder in your eyes, then don't get an abortion, but don't stand in the way of others. If you truly believe in a god, then you must know that it is he/she that will judge in the end.
I suppose my point is; anyone can worship (or not) anyway they wish, but do so behind closed doors (Matthew 6:6), but do not do it in the streets, and for the love of Pete, definitely don't do it in the halls of Congress.

One world governments could work. Communism could work too. It just has to be implemented with good intentions for humankind. Problem is, there will always be people who want more and more. Even if everyone had everything they needed to survive, there would always be people who want more. People need to figure out the difference between need and want. Once we do, there is no telling where humankind could go.

...

The above is why socialists/communists are all cruel, barbarians who claim "we are just doing it to save the world" meanwhile they murder millions of people and imprison millions more because those people would not bow down to socialim/communism...

And yet religions kill in the name of god every day. What's the difference?

Who am I? I am the one you pointed your joke at, so if you don't want to hear my comments, on the fact, that I consider posting a joke on a forum such as this, as waste of post, then don't address your post to me. Make another joke and address it to me and I will say the same again. That simple really. If you don't want to hear my opinion on it, then address your jokes to others. It's not like I hunted through the thread saw you make a joke and attacked you.

And, as far as the break down of the utopian ideal; can it break down sure. Has it broke down in the past, specifically Russia, sure, but Russia is one experiment, not the whole idea.

I mean if we use the logic, that past failures indicate that an idea can't function ever, well then we have to throw at capitalism and all the ideals of the United States, like the constitution as well, because looking at the US now, that system has failed and is failing. It may have taken a little longer then the soviet union, but it's catching up to it's collapse pretty fast.

As, far as utilizing things like volcanoes or trying to alter their eruptions etc, well it is a nice idea to use the energy of volcanoes, but it doesn't stop the catastrophic destruction their eruptions can reek on the world, especially as regards the growing of food. The volcanic eruption of Mount Tambora in 1815, destroyed a lot of food production around the world in 1816.

The Summer of 1816 Around the World

In New England, there was snow in early June. During the months of July, August and September, night time temperatures dipped and frost occurred on several occasions. July and August were dry so the crops started to suffer from drought. Frost in September caused additional crop failure. The lack of sunlight stunted plant growth and prevented the ripening of produce such as corn. It is interesting to note that the crop failure in New England caused farmers to move westward. This mass migration shifted the nation’s farming industry away from the eastern part of the nation.

Eastern Canada experienced the same weather conditions as New England with cold waves, frost and drought. Sub-zero temperatures killed crops and at least one foot of snow fell in Quebec City in early June. The crops that managed to survive were killed by early frost in September.

Low temperatures and prolonged rain caused crop failures in Britain. It was the third coldest summer recorded since record-keeping started in 1659. Parts of Europe such as France, Switzerland and Germany suffered famine and crop failure.

Europe was already suffering from food shortages due to the Napoleonic Wars. This caused riots and looting. Many rivers flooded due to higher than normal rainfall. It is estimated that 200,000 people died in Eastern and Southern Europe from hunger and a typhus epidemic. Some countries had ash mixed in with snow.

In Asia and India, the monsoon season was heavy and they experienced unusually low temperatures plus frost. Rice production was drastically reduced which resulted in famine in China. Snow fell in higher elevations in countries where snow does not normally exist. Southern India suffered a cholera epidemic and it is believed to be linked with the unusual weather conditions in 1816.

Can you imagine the impact of such an eruption today with over 8 billion people on the planet? I don't think it will be good and probably far worse then in 1816, which from looking at the estimated global population then, was around a billion or so.

And that is just volcanoes, imagine another asteroid impact similar to the one that is believed to have help end the age of the dinosaurs. It is something that humanity should be concerned about and working towards a safe guard, in my opinion anyway.

Thanks for your time and the debate.

I agree, help us build some space ships and I am sure many people like me would gladly get the hell off the planet and away from the bickering, squabbling masses. Then, people like me can look down and watch the pretty lights, as the shining examples of humanity left behind, annihilate each other once and for all; when the resources run out of course and the current systems collapse.

I'm sorry to inform you that the UN Agenda 21 is expressly for the purpose of depopulating the planet and parsing out resources to just a few people left on the planet after the Elites do whatever it is they are going to do, whether it be nuclear holocaust, global wars, starvation plots, mass medications, FEMA death camps, or whatever. It's not going to be a pretty sight.

You have NO IDEA who I am or what I am about, so don't pretend to on this thread.
I am strongly Individualistic, and fight for the Right of All to remain so. I am a survivalist by nature, and understand fully what the founding fathers here in America meant when they wrote the documents that have guided our country. Don't speak as if you know how I live, nor what I believe just because you ran across one of my posts that you disagree with and wish to twist into something it is Not.
How dare you state that you know the inner workings of my mind or my life, and then preach respect.
I have never advocated turning anyone into a mindless robot as you state, nor do I think that you or anyone else should adhere to my spirituality or beliefs. Being Fiercely Independent myself I take offence by your twisting of anything I have said to fit YOUR AGENDA and see your trite response to my post as nothing more than hype and rant about someone you know nothing about.
Maybe you should practice what you preach and see that you are doing some major projection with your words.
I came here for civil discourse on this subject, but this thread has turned into a Train Wreck because people such as yourself cannot discuss the subject coherently enough without attacking the people who believe what the OP stated as having merit. If you think you are defending your ideas do so in a manner which allows us to SPEAK to Each Other without having to defend ourselves... That would mean speaking to the subject,, not the attacking the speakers themselves.
I tried this with AWAKE in NM,, but he also just wants to destroy communication instead of participate in it.
I thought you were different by reading some of your other writings,, guess I was wrong.
So Back off with the attacks when you don't know a damn thing about who I am, nor what I believe,, or How I live my life.
