The most interesting part of this story is that in the 17 years I have been in the military I have never heard of the US military being in Isreal, much less announcing it.

For the record
Despite the notion that the U.S. is currently hugely reliant on foreign oil, the country sold 34,000 more barrels of petroleum products a day than it imported in November 2010. And, in both December and February, the U.S. sold 54,000 more barrels a day. Net imports have not been negative for nearly two decades.
finance.yahoo.com...
In trade, countries including the US export as much stuff as we import. Americans might be surprised that we export oil to foreign countries. Surprise surprise
Ha Ha
You must have been to the same school of business as my wife , after she spends 400 dollars and tells me
how much money she saved me because it was 15% off.
The US has been a net importer of OIL since 1971, currently about 9 million barrels a day.
NINE MILLION BPD
Your cute little story of 34,000 dpd is of REFINED OIL, refined after is was imported as crude.
Funny story though, thanx for the chuckle.
You're half right. Yes, despite its role as the world’s largest importer of oil and refined products, the U.S. also exports fossil fuels. As of March, the latest data available, U.S. oil refiners were exporting more than 1.8 million barrels a day of crude oil, gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and other refined products. The top five destinations for U.S. fuel were Mexico, Canada, the Netherlands, Chile and Singapore.
But no, the export of crude oil and refined fuels doesn’t prove anything about pump prices. What it proves is that crude oil and gasoline are global commodities. They are produced in dozens of countries around the world and consumed pretty much everywhere.

Obama has a re election and voter problems , Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has people problems , Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu has people problems, It has been suggested weeks ago that this whole Hormuz situation has been cooked up between the three countries to push the price of crude up and also take the internal home flack off the
leaders.
Before everyone says , well how does this fly for Iran , well who are we to say that the US and Israel and the EU have not got a financial plan in place to compensate Iran behind closed doors, while to the outside world Iran is seen to be punished.........KERCHING everyone is a winner except normal hard working people the world over.
This rhetoric that Saudi and the like have enough crude to cover the loss of Iranian crude makes sense , BUT why do I hear the words down the line , we are running low on crude people of the world , SORRY the price will be going up.
Any NWO obsessive would say that this situation is perfect for heaping on the pressure to the little people, making them soft and docile to anything there leaders have to say.
This has got nothing to do with any of that. I can't go into detail because its off-topic but i will say this. This war aint gonna be about money, oil or land or even religion. This fights been brewing for a loooong time.

. . . But Russia has interests in Syria and any western attack will culminate into limited or full blown warfare depending on how much much the Pentagon and the shadow govt of the USA is willing to up the ante.
According to him Pentagon is not interested in this but the corporate elite and the shadow govt. is interested in eradicating what it perceives as economic, political or military competitors to its ideology. So if USA attacks Iran ,He says that China will be involved only, but if Syria is invaded then its USA vs Russia in a matter of time.
Judging by the acts of these politicians, would it surprise you if I said we are given the illusion of democracy, and that we don't REALLY choose who is elected? Look how our government controlled media seems to ignore the only sensible candidate. Please, have some common sense. Obama is not liked over here. You don't see anyone running around with a "HOPE" or "CHANGE" shirt any more.

That was six months ago.

Google my good fellows, google...
That leaves them only one choice, attack without being attacked first. The attack too has to be devastating so that the probability of a retaliation is not high. The only thing that is stopping them is the likely global reaction. Once enough of the world wakes up to what the USA is and Russia is confident of the positive reaction outweighing the negative, the attack will come.
. . .
. . .
A pair of binoculars was handed to me, and I was told to look through them.
"Stand there, don't move, and look," he continued. "You will see what they are saying, and what they are preparing for America."
. . .
The Russian president began to speak to the Chinese one. "I will give you the land with all the people, but you must free Taiwan of the Americans. Do not fear, we will attack them from behind."
A voice said to me, "Watch where the Russians penetrate America."
I saw these words being written: Alaska; Minnesota; Florida.
Then, the man spoke again, "When America goes to war with China, the Russians will strike without warning."
The other two presidents spoke, "We, too, will fight for you." Each had a place already planned as a point of attack.
All of them shook hands and hugged. Then they all signed a contract. One of them said, "We're sure that Korea and Cuba will be on our side, too. Without a doubt, together, we can destroy America."

History, I think we are trying to obliterate history so that we can all live in a Global Zionist super state. Take Iraq, all that Uranium everywhere is gonna make archaeology kinda dangerous/off limits isnt it?

Are the powers that be not going to be satisfied until all heck breaks loose?
Hasn't Isreal already told us that they don't need the USA to help them?
This is getting a little ridiculous if you ask me!
Oil, power, greed...I am so tired of this, let's put the powers that be in a cage match and let them duke it out, save thousands if not millions of lives.

Israel may say that they can go this alone but the US knows that if they don't have their noses in there, they don't get to the payday.
Attack, Destroy, Kill, Steal, Rebuild....Get Paid.
All in the name of peace of course.
