i would take this with a pinch of salt and wait for a non iranian / american news source to report this.

press tv are good at times, but have still been known to dish out the propeganda when needed!

it is bad that they are mentioning this to their massess though, as this will be information that iran want their public to know.

Like i said on the other thread .... This is NOT a 'WAR DEPLOYMENT'. It's a joint military exercise. It happens all the time, all around the world. We do it with Japan. We do it with South Korea. We do it with Germany. etc etc. We've done it with Israel previously with both people and military assets.

This is NOT a 'deployment for war'.

There were deployments into Oman just prior to the Afghanistan conflict in 2001-2.
All the commanders were saying to the troops family's it was just training.
Then they got sent to Afghanistan....

We have these joint exercises ALL THE FREAK'N TIME ... all around the world with many different countries. We've had them with Israel in the past. We have them at pre-planned times and at 'surprise' times to insure combat and deployment readiness.

This is NOT COMBAT DEPLOYMENT. It's an exercise and it's to flex muscles. PERIOD.
If it were combat deployment things would be unfolding in a much different manner.

The UK Military are sending more ships to the straight as we speak and are ready to start a war if the Iranian authorities stop all shipment of oil in the straight!! Of course this could just be a lie to start a war anyway as none of us are in the straight, in Iran or on the border to see exactly what is happening with a birds eye view!!!!

Again .. War deployment and exercise are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS.

It is possible to be out on a joint exercise and to deploy from that exercise to a situation. But going on an exercise is NOT a war deployment. It's an exercise. It's planned ahead of time as such. A war deployment requires certain government authorizations and certain military equipment assets that an exercise doesn't.

Except this "Bear" has friends. This "bear" has a army. This "bear" has a navy. This "bear" has an airforce. This "bear" has millions of cubs she will protect. This "bear" want run from the dogs on it's tale. It will stand and fight and inflict some serious damage, to any and all that threaten her. Many "hunters" will die.

BUT Syria recently got Yakhont missiles - and we just don't know what is inside these missiles. Some media reported of Iskander as well. Both are nuclear capable. Taking aside apocalyptic predictions (of Damascus but also of Israel hiding in Petra - we may not be at that time at all), in modern day politics Syria is just too important for Russia to be "lost". It may be therefore armed with nuclear weapons. Why not repetition of Cuba? Now no one hides the missiles, only claims they are not nuclear. On diplomatic level the assurances may be just the opposite. In contrast, Iran is bigger and better armed and will continue the war longer than Iraq's 1 month. Until when, until WW3? Will China enter into Pakistan in that case?

This is getting stupid. Why are we tip toeing toward Iran. It is very obvious war is going to happen ... get it over with and deploy. Iran isnt going to Tip Toe in preparing for War , im going to tell you that much. The longer you wait .. the longer Iran has to plan and NATO / America better not be surprised when Iran is causing 30-50 thousand KIA ... in this little campaign we are dragging out.

American , its time to wake up. Iran isnt going to be like Iraq. They are fanatical. They are going to basically be like the Taliban (fanatical) with a standing nationalized army. Yeah they are going to get slaughtered , but they have a bit more technology than the outback terrorist ...

Never EVER underestimate an Enemy. Iran is to be treated as Russia would be treated ... caution .. and aggressive behaviour , a balance must be found.

I think US commanders (THINK) that with US support they can give IRAN a knock out punch ,where as with Just Isreal the conflict would drag on .I think we will as always win in the End but i think Iran will be a tougher Nut to crack then Iraq

I agree ,US commanders THINK they know ...In my previous post im not saying thats what I THINK but its what they think ..Also i believe the difference this time is IRAN has had the time to build or have bought actual Nukes and they have all ready proved they understand how are drones work ...I think we could see Iran Use Nukes to hold back a Large AMerican Ground Invasion
