Evidence of needles please, otherwise I will begin to think You are a paid liar.
gravitor

The needles are referenced from the St Pauls protests as reported in the Daily Mail, I don't have the time to pull up the report at the moment but it IS there if you choose to look. The protesters (er yeah right) actually asked for a sharps storage bank so it MUST have been pretty rife.

EDIT: Here's the Daily Mail report..Happy...

www.dailymail.co.uk...

It therefore remains quite correct to presume there were needles also at these camps as its widely reported about the drug use in all these places so unless you reckon all these people taking drugs JUST use cannabis (very very unlikely) then I'd say drug use would have been just as wide.

And please, I don't get paid by anyone, I just see the normal ability for those activists and druggies to use any reason to attack society and leave the usual foul mess for all to have to deal with at the tax payers expense...

Perhaps you like seeing this, I don't...

Apparently this woman refuses (according to Seattle Times) to offer proof she was ever pregnant or had a miscarriage.

Here is a link. I'm new and I hope it's ok to post a link.

Well that's dumb. They're going to need to see it either way.

Premeditated Murder by the woman.

GUILTY!

I surely hope her little cardboard sign was worth it for her, because she's the only who has to live with this.

Statements like this are making me feel sick because if is not just one person who thinks it, we are nearer to being lost than I thought.

Pregnant women are expected to protect the babies. I couldn't even drink a diet coke without getting lectured.

I had to move cross country when i was 7.5 months and my friends made me document every hospital along the way.

I am a lot more laid back then most pregnant women, I would have a glass of wine or a cup of coffee. Even I wouldn't venture into a crowd protesting.

I went to a stadium concert once and a girl next to me started screaming because a guy ran up to her, stabbed her in the cheek with a needle and ran off.
I can't imagine the fear.

Any large gathering that has a purpose is going to incite trouble somehow.

And police are supposed to serve the public trust. Not just randomly beat on people. Pregnant or not. According to the article, the woman was shouting that she was pregnant. At the very least they should have pulled her aside. Arrest her.. fine.. but pepper spray her and beat her with a night stick was unnecessary. Was she threatening the police? Were they in fear for their safety by her? I highly doubt it. We are seeing more and more how these "peace officers" are taking their power trips to the next level.

Should she have been there? Who am I to say? I am a father. I wouldn't want my pregnant wife there. However this girl is homeless and 19 years old. I'm sure she hasn't made the best decisions in life. But that doesn't excuse the violence. There should NOT be an expectation of violence. Especially from the people who are supposed to protect and serve.

Agree...ID the cops who committed this murder and call for their arrest. Police Chief, too. Surely there are more pregnant women there, and there should be a policy in place for them....Which should be "Leave peaceful protesters alone, and grant escorts to pregnant women trying to leave."

Blaming the mother for going to a protest is ridiculous. I'm sorry but this is supposed to be a free country where we are allowed to exercise our rights. There is no "expectation" of violence. One should not EXPECT to get beaten and pepper sprayed by the police.

This is the is-ought fallacy. What is of interest here are the facts, not what you feel "ought to be". Whether your country is "supposed" to be "free" or not, and whatever you believe the police "should" do, is irrelevant. Any person with a little historical awareness and common sense would expect there to be more than a small probability of violence, or violence to his person, at such a protest.

I already have with pictorial evidence

Here it is again..

www.dailymail.co.uk...

I now expect the usual daft "don't believe the media" type reply which will only make me wonder if you are paid to support these lot.

Please keep liar comments to yourself, its unwanted by the new ATS guidelines and certainly an unwanted presumption on your part about me..

We have a local squat here in Northolt, it is anything BUT clean and tidy, its an eyesore with bottles strewn around the place, dirty bedding and clothing just dumped out of the windows AND a well known drug den.

NO I'm not going to provide proof, you either believe or not, it matters NOT to me but its the truth.

I also think you will find that the original protesters promised to keep the area in St Pauls clean but the activists and good time drugs lot who have amassed since made no such promises.

I hope this laidy can get over the scares she will be carring with her for the rest of her life. This is sad

1. They were informed and went for her anyway.

Prove it.

2. She had a legal to be there and a legal right to not brutalized and singled out when they were told.

Prove she was "brutalized".

3. The doctors can safely make that assumption.

Five days after the incident...no...they can't safely make that assumption. And assumptions are not fact.

So then what is your answer then? Are we just supposed to say "well hey.. the cops do beat people.. the cops are out of control. Guess we should all just stay home then."

What exactly are you trying to get at? If your saying that there are cops out there that are bad, and we just have to deal with it, well I completely 100% disagree with you. We do not have to sit and take it. Violence begets violence.

What a disgusting thing to do to this lady. Whether or not she should've been there could be debated, but I think the fact that we even have to debate such a thing is the problem here. These "police" were given the go ahead to be jerks about this whole OWS thing and they abused it fully. Police state here we come.

I support Occupy and I think she is lying.
When I heard they sprayed a pregnant woman and then saw her and realized she was only a few months pregnant I doubted the story. I mean, I know it's possibly as everyone that has a child has to have early pregnancy of course, but I think she would have to be hit pretty hard to have a miscarriage that early on and I doubt she was hit that hard. I think it has also been stated she is a habitual liar.

lying or not you cannot discount the video, the eye witness and journalist accounts of what happened.

have you seen what a baton or boot to the stomach can do I have and its not pleasant pregnant or not.

its just appalling to me that unarmed people are treated this way, there are much better ways to remove peaceful but loud or unruly people from a street i have seen more manners from bouncers in the dirtiest biker bars.

Sometimes I think that too many people spend to much time on line and not enough time in the real world. So many logical points are being made, but the logic is surface logic and not real world experience. Examples of what I am talking about:

The safest spot is the middle of the crowd.

Saying that tells me a couple of things. That the person have never rushed a field after a big win. That person has never been in a mosh pit. That person has never been in the middle of a dance floor in a crowded club. Basically, never been in a real life social situation where the crowd is in control and not the indivual.

She said she was pregnant, and we know People NEVER lie to the cops. What do you do, everyones number 1 instinct is self-preservation, including the cops. Do you believe her in the split second? Now, how many women now are going to scream that they are pregnant in every Occupy Group. Do you let the mob rule because people in the mob tell you that they are pregos?

I read the police report. She said she was 3 months pregnant back in September. Now it's late November. She still said she was 3 months pregnant. Is it some kind of relativistic paradox?

I don't believe that lady. You see, it's highly unlikely that a young woman with no experience with pregnancies could confidently say that she was "one month pregnant". The period could have been delayed. If you are a few weeks late, then you take a pregnancy test, and that's conservative. Many girls wait till the next period. And it looks like she knew all of that, so when she was busted for trespassing, she said she was 3 months along, as to appear credible. The number stuck in her head. Fast forward to November... She's still 3 months pregnant.

I have never hesitated to express my feelings towards the brain dead oppressors however... Yes the police behaved terrible to be expected. But if you are pregnant you dont put yourself in such a dangerous situation, its the officers fault for the action though it was equally stupid on her part.
