You of all people I'd expect to have a more open mind as it is not a Constitution right to slam or bemoan a website. This movement is about how we all can come together to solve the problems we all face today and do not wish for the Jones or Ron Paul brigade to take over this movement or to try and interject their will upon this movement as we see both as being apart of the problem. I just simply can't sit here and levy a personal attack against you without expecting some sort of repercussion as a results!

(Not attacking but and am trying to enlighten you so please do not take it personal as that is not my intent, D1!)

you mean the devil took them up on the mountain and showed them the world and said you can have all this if you just worship me? lol (i'm kidding of course it's just a metaphor about reality and how the choice for power is often to end up like the thing you hated, and then you find yourself doing what the thing you hated did. only remaining option being to lie to yourself that he was bad but you are good even though you look just like him and do what he did. is there a clinical name for that? lol )

I don't disagree, it is the site's owners/operators right to do whatever they want & online moderation is necessary in this day & age. I also agree that true spamming of anything not pertaining to topic should be deleted & should be to keep users on topic. However, wholesale banning of "conspiracy theory" under the spamming banner is wrong & disingenuous. If someone uses an Infowars article to back up what they are saying on the agreed topic at hand, it is not spamming. It is not spamming to highlight certain ideas talked about by Jones & LaRouche in the areas of national & global finance when those are the issue at hand. I'm only pointing out my growing disillusionment that this looks less & less like a populist movement with so many topics & ideologies being swept under the carpet w/o debate or discussion.

If I were to in this thread, begin to talk about spaghetti monsters my posts would be removed as off topic. If were to continue to do so wouldn't a mod be justified in banning me from ATS?

Yes or no?

its okay the reason I dont support OWS is their treatment of Questions.. They don't want to answer them since there is no cohesive answer... I got kicked out of their chat room for asking one simple question (related to Goldman sachs actually)

Alex probably ask the wrong question and pissed off the 12 year old in charge of the chat room

AJ has a tendency to lead the weak around in circles. I'm surprised ATS hasn't banned his content as well. He's just not good for anyone that wants real info. AJ involves, hearing it, saying oh cool, researching it, finding out yet again he's full of it. If the man had anything real to say I might support his presence, but he doesn't. He's a shock jockey on par with Howard Stern, Mancow, and Art Belle. Nothing more.

I always have and always will support the right of a website to censor itself as it sees fit. If someone doesn't like it, they can go somewhere else and behave however they want there.

Posts like that would most likely be left alone as they are on topic or a debate would open up on whether they were true or not. Topics such as George Soros being the mastermind behind Occupy and how it makes the whole thing evil and the participants gullible sheep would probably not be allowed to remain.

We see Alex Jones as being apart of the problem and continually offering "doom and gloom" for which we smart people are actually sick of. He is not apart of the solution but remains as apart of the problem.

How can he say what he says and is still being allowed to walk free? What's his angle? Who's backpocket is he in and it's definately not Genesis Communicaitons!

Well wouldn't that all depend if the Spaghetti monsters complaints and gripes are in lockstep with OWS or not?

The "official" OWS website does not represent the totality of the OWS movement. They would like to steer the movement in order to further their own objectives. Claiming to be the official website is helpful as a way to consolidate power and steer the conversation. It's a psyop tactic.

The agenda of the faction banning Alex Jones pretty much speaks for itself. I'm sure there are many on the street who are quite savvy and are up on the topics that Alex Jones routinely discusses. My sincere appreciation goes to all those who are out there working to educate people.

OWS has the potential to bring together many, many people with different pieces of the vast puzzle of corruption infesting this country and the world. Putting the pieces together is death to the corruption. Infowars is very good at aggregating info. If passionate people, information and education combine, the gestalt will be world changing.

Websites can be great aggregators of information. Of course free speech, internet freedom and assembling for peaceful protest is under attack.

The term "We" is the movement that is Occupy Together, Occupy Everything and #OccupyWallStreet and the countless Occupations and actions throughout the nation and the planet!

Talking about How George Soros may be involved would be removed anyway. It exposes too much many don't want to be known.

Whether or not some believe it to be evil is irrelevant.

The blockade on AJ chatter is to prevent the forum from being dominated and become a AJ forum as that would force the movement to be in lockstep with what he says.

He is a corporate hack!

It exposes nothing, it's garbage.
Tax records prove it is a garbage claim but proof didn't stop anyone from spamming it on OWS forums did it? I guess they had to mod it.

The reason why any chatter pertaining to Soros would be blocked because he has nothing to do with this movement as we see people like Soros as being apart of the problem and chatter from the Jones and Paul brigade isn't needed nor wanted. We are to fix the problems of the world not be a information warehouse and a mouthpiece for Jones or Paul!
