Honestly, as a normal civilian, I am not superior to you. I never claimed to be. Although statistically numbers have shown that majority of the persons who have experienced a decent amount of military training, DO perform better, work harder, and show superiority among their peers in the civilian work force. Hence, the reason most employers like to hire vets, given honorable discharge with superior annual reports while enlisted.

Now, military wise, yes I am superior to you. Assuming you have no training. You cannot expect to perform my duties, why, because you are not trained!

Well there is a chain of command. I'm in charge of some, and there are those in charge of me! Accordingly, we accept responsibility for the actions of those we are in charge of. Yes I give lawful orders, and am given direct orders. Now we are not ORDERED to murder anybody. We have a mission, and carry it out. Our rules of engagement give detailed rules of what justifiable use of force may be used in a situation. However, if you are showing an attempt to take my life, I will match your force with the same intent. Inferiority has nothing to do with it.

Not becoming borg. Although nano technologies as well as other technologies are moving ahead at an incredible speed become more lightweight and efficient. To my knowledge we are not about to be assimilated. We are not a cult, however we do train to operate as one team, one unit. Were everyone in the team can do one another's job. We help each other through everything. We are a brotherhood but not so much of same minded thoughts. We respect each others individuality. However, we train how we fight, and in a fight we can expect the same reaction to any COMBATIVE situation. Increased efficiency and proficiency! Yep, training and real life exposure gets you there. Our way only matters to us, those going against us. OUR way has nothing to do with YOU. We are not trying to train you.

Deluded no! Dangerous yes. And that's the whole point isn't it now.

After all what good are soldiers who fight with hugs and kisses. I save those for my wife and kids. For the enemy, well that's a different story.
