Is God Satan? Could everything we know about the Abrahamic faiths be backwards?

Jumping straight from the first page here with MY answer to your question. No God is not Satan. Who is God anyway? I see God as the balance between everything in the universe. Its the life force within us all and something that we all return to as a collective being. Its an intelligent force of which we are all part of yet living out billions of lives, scenarios, fears, experiences etc. When we die after our education here we go back to that collective intelligence and again be part of one.

Now if you were to ask me if Religion was Satan then the answer is clearly Yes. TPTB and Religion on this earth are the versa to the balance. In order to understand good, love, happiness etc we have to experience pain, loss, grief etc. The intelligent collective (God) put Satan (Ie the opposite side of the balance) in control of this realm. He is an influence living in a world of potential good souls acting as a very wise teacher. War, murder, poverty, drought, natrual disasters are his teaching tools. Our aim is to find the light, To find in our heart the collective intelligence whilst we are still here in mortal bodies

Why would you be worried and stressed and afraid of being wrong in your choice? Don't you think that God would have the power and glory and love to relieve all of those fears? I know that God exists. Why don't you humbly ask Him in prayer for help in leading you to Him?

Now, when I first came across this website, I was extremely skeptical, especially given its name. But I think this is more of a ruse to weed out who's willing to dig for knowledge and who's not. So regardless of whether or not this site, and the people behind it, are legit...the ideas presented here are actually pretty thought-provoking. This site contains MANY well researched, well thought out articles. But one that really grabs me is here: The Mithras Deception

Yeah...it's kinda long. But part of the conclusion sums up the idea I'm interested in really well is this:

"Christianity, in order to eliminate Mithraism, simply assimilated many of the key aspects of the rival religion: a perfect Satanic strategy. Equally, Satanic propagandists have managed to portray the Illuminati in the popular imagination as the opposite of what they actually are. However, the truth will emerge slowly but surely. --Now, I know some of you are probably at work, or otherwised pressed for time and will probably make a snap judgement on this idea based on that exerpt alone. But I encourage you, please take the time to read the entire article/essay before you start with the flaming. It's just a theory, albeit in this skeptic's mind, a pretty plausible one...and it seems plausible to me for the simple fact that it is NO secret we are being lied to. By goverments, by churches, by schools....they all do it (unwittingly or not). So, in my eyes, a theory like this...well, it just seems to fit.

When I read the title of this thread I almost jumped out of my skin. I had the exact same idea last year and I am in the process of writing a fiction novel with that very concept as the theme!!! WoW!

Ok,if Enlil does not want Adam and Eve to eat the fruit why don;t he removed the Tree and block off all access to it ,surely I think he has the means to do so,unless I am missing something.

I believe those muslim extremists(if they are muslim extremists in the 1st place and not some other conspiracy ) are deluded ,they most likely are quoting the Qur'an and Hadith out of the context ,using what is allowed for them as self-defense to be a "reason" to attack the West.

Let say you have a certain religion and your G-d give you permission and to attack those who wants to persecute you ,does not mean you can quote that verse as a reason to attack other people .

I have met quite a few beings who identify, very outright that they either are or are with the “fallen” and they have gone to some trouble to explain this world as they understand it. I rejected this outright, but after a few shall I say…Illustrations of their powers, I thought it best to listen. I must always keep in mind that these beings are lied to as much as they lie to me. However, now and again some Truth is extracted, bearing in mind that Truth is often revealed over time with due diligence applied to the facts presented.

Mithra is supposed to exist per these beings. Mithra is a god and the remaining fallen report under this administration, this is not to say that Mithra is Evil, it’s just the way it’s been laid out.

There are many "God" administrations; each religion having its own implementation. Faithful following of the tenants of these religions will get you into the place you want to be, but…you won’t get further than what both the fallen and the Devine refer to as a near earth orbit within the astral region.

There is in fact a much larger administration which runs across all the universes, this is the God to which we normally associate. This is a full on administration with all the complexities one might well expect or anticipate with any other type of organization. This is best explained in the Urantia book.

However, the Urantia administration is not fully implemented or should I comment as “empowered” on this world, due in fact to the Lucifer Rebellion. This administration has sent not only Jesus, but others as well to this world in an effort to educate humanity about the truer complexities and eloquences of the true nature of the universe. The full empowerment of this administration will only occur when humanities spiritual knowledge allows humanity to accept a being of this administration as the Son of God. As well, that Urantia “being” has to get through this same world, a difficult task indeed.

The complications we have with all the other associations, interpretations, implementations etc. with “God” turn out to be manifestations of our own creating.

We truly can create anything our minds wish; we just need to be very careful with this creation power. The more humans who conjointly work on creation, the more this effort is received and manifested. As such if we collectively within some local geographical area create a God of War or a God of Peace, one will accordingly be created and various miracles will manifest. Should one religion grow larger than others, there will be a greater amount of creative intent manifested along those lines.

There is a complete implementation available for us to manifest within, this is where the Good vs Evil argument is being worked out. In the end it’s all Good.

As a side note for anyone interested in more reading, the fallen recommend the following: The Urantia Book, The path of Christ or Anti Christ (aliens, the fallen, etc.) by Elizabeth Prophet, and surprisingly a book by CJ Lewis called the Screwtape Letters. From my own readings, I would add Carlos Castinada’s The Art of Dreaming.
For the bulk of the replies, the Screwtape Letters might help with the Christian issues of seeing others purport a pious stance but be observed as otherwise.

I think Satan is an untouchable scapegoat. As long as people believe Satan is responsible for the evil in the world, they won't look toward the mortal humans that created the evil. "Oh, Satan did it, nothing can be done I guess". You can blame Satan for not having food on the table, or you can blame the guy who took your livelihood. The former doesn't exist and can't be punished, the latter will get his when everyone stops believing in fairy tales.

Most people are inherently evil and they don't even realize it, every time I hear someone utter the phrase "good christian folk" or something of like it disgusts me. The general idea most religions like to put forth is good evil , as far as I can tell from history that means something enlightening happened to people long ago that may also have been catastrophic. There was a time when people were not ignorant, they saw the evil that was right under their noses, they abolished this evil and created a belief system around it, it's the same all over.

Well now here we are, thousands of years later and everyone is so wrapped up in stupid, nitty gritty details that everyone forgot the general idea of religion all along. People are so inherently evil, they took an idea designed to tell future generations to act righteously... and killed each over it. The cultures and practitioners of the various religions in the world have become the exact opposite of what the original idea of their religions were, they have become the monster the religion was trying to fight in the first place. This is your deceptive Satan... humanity, so deceptive it convinced itself that it doesn't exist but exists and is not liable for evil in the world. With the very concept of Satan the bible even forewarns about deception, the very religion you stand on will become corrupt and people will follow it blindly and to the death. The very words people kill and cheat each other over warns them of those exact acts in those exact situations.

Satan and evil only exists within human nature, not some unreachable world. We can punish evil and we should. The people who created these fads we call religion realized long ago that deception and all these negative traits that plague humanity existed. Now, bored, stupid people argue about exact details and forget the whole reason the idea was created in the first place, to produce a righteous world. Every religious person is a hypocrite, you have not created paradise, you created our reality now. Two thousand years and we are back at step one, rampant in ignorance, greed, distrust, lies and all forms of evil that exist in every level and every corner of the world.

We are no better now than we were thousands of years ago, only with a few more niceties and incredible destructive capability. Now people believe in gods and satans without even realizing why, just because that is what everyone else does.

You may think I sound like an atheist, that is not really correct. I have a religion and it is a polytheistic one, god is called "righteousness" and isn't a supernatural entity, sub-deities include honesty, compassion, kindness and so on. You don't have to believe in epic floods, miracles, ancient spaceships and thousands of years old scripted conversations with god in order to believe in making the world a better place.
