This is biblical..and there is not other way for me to explain it.Sorry..LOL ok, Understanding of the situation in Israel in convoluted cause of many different beliefs. Yahweh also declared that Israel would be his own possession among all the peoples. This requires Israel to obey Yahwehs voice and keep his covenant. Because of this many people believe that because Israel disobeyed Yahweh he removed them from the land permanently. They say Israel no longer has a valid claim to the land.Yahweh told Israel what would happen if they didn't obey him and the punishment! Yet there as the promise of restoration:Yet in spite of this, when that are in the land of their enemies,I will not reject them,nor will i so abhor them,for i am Yahweh their God.

Yahweh is very concerned about his land. The issue is that whether to divide Israel becomes clear.The land bordered by the Nile and the Euphrates River and the Mediterranean Sea and the wilderness belongs to Yahweh who gave it to the Jewish people for eternal possession.


It cannot be shared no given away say Yahweh. Yahweh gave Israel a clear command regarding making covenants with their enemies and when Yahweh your God shall deliver them before you and you shall defeat them..Even if you don't believe in God that fine, But this is all about our Lord. Its going to be hard to understand what is going on in this world with anything if you don't understand..This is biblical all the way...reference to bible.

There is a vast amount of cases and evidence of the IDF intentionally targeting civilians from the UN and every major humans rights groups including b'tselem, to deny this is frankly ridiculous given how long this has been going on and how many atrocities have been committed( i guess they are all lying though?). Many terrible crimes have been committed by Palestinians against Israeli citizens of course, but they pale in comparison to the atrocities Israel is responsible for...which is of course inevitable given that they have an extremely powerful military in which to do so. It is one thing to support Israel,but if you need to shut out reality in order to do that you should really be asking yourself some serious question.

Thanks Mod i had given up on this thread i started due to the nasty comments that had been taking place it was getting a bit out of hand.

I am glad to see i am not the only one left who supports Israel and I am glad to see a few posters who oppose me who have brought facts to the table instead of pointless name calling and hatred, is Israel perfect absolutely not they are making the best of a bad situation they could just say screw it and wipe out the Palestinians but they don't they have the ability yet they refrain if they were the evil that they have been called they would have just done it already.

Let's get one thing straight. Unlike other nations who faced direct attacks on thier civilians, Israel has never targeted civilians. The IDF has always done everything possible to minimize civilian casualties in response to terror attacks. Palestinian terrorist groups hide behind women and children after launching attacks on Israeli civilians, so if Palestinian children have died, blame Hamas and Hezbollah.

Hey did you read the previous post of mine explaining a little of whats going on? Its true..I know its hard to understand but so so very true..The bible is not just a book..It tells us what is going on in life and if we but the bible with the current event we will see the truth on whats taking place in the world we all live on..Its like if you read a book or a novel where a psychic told you past,present and future events...Not pushing the bible on ya..LOL..Just letting you know what is happening everywhere is so terrible which we all know but it has been profised and its all in a book called the bible....Great post by the way..nice talking with ya...

eeks - the people who claim to be "Jews" today are not the descendants of the people described in the Bible and there is no way you can prove that they are even related to the Biblical people either by using the Bible or by using DNA tests.

You may be as "Jewish" as any other person on the planet.

There are tens of millions of people alive today who have DNA from the Biblical area of Palestine and they are every race, religion and culture.

question to all of you using religion as a basis of support for israel..how do you not see the contradiction between what jesus taught and what israel does every day? how do you look at the bible, look at israel's actions, and not see that they are completely inconsistent? Factual Fail!

Israel is well known to target civilians. Just look at the civilian deaths during Operation Cast Lead. Or were they 'mistakes'? Like, oops we just bombed a school full of unarmed civilians and white phosphorous, my mistake. Silly us! That excuse is a LIE and you know it. They say their army is so advanced then make 'mistakes' and kill civilians constantly.

The fact that the whole of Gaza is a prison, walled in with checkpoints, is targetting civilians. Collective punishment of innocent children. And you actually support this?

Even children and farmers on their own land are targets:

Palestinian girl, 14, Shot and killed
Israeli Forces shoot at bird catchers
Israeli soldiers shoot and kill two little girls

Israeli paranoia results in many deaths and civilians targetted. Plenty more where that came from.

Responding to a rockets with bombs dropped from a plane is obviously overkill and civilians get killed indisriminatley.

And using the old 'but Hamas and Hezbollah use human shields' crap is wearing thin. For starters, it's well known that Israeli soldiers have done the same.

And also, if you check the stats, the number of Palestinian civilians killed well outways the number of Palestinian 'militants' killed. So unless each of these crazy Hamas guys has got like 50 kids surrounding him who get blown up when Israel targets him, then the numbers dont add up.

Even if they do hide behind them, what sane person would EVER blow up the women and children to get to them??

It's obvious to anyone with more than two brain cells to rub together that they are killing civilians. They may not be specifically targetting them all the time, but they certainly don't give a crap if they get caught in the crossfire or under a bomb.

Of course I'm not using historical precedent to justify the murder of civilians. I will never condone the deaths of civilians, whether they be Israeli, Palestinian, or any other nationality. You are missing the point of my post. I am merely pointing out the blatant hypocrisy on display by far too many people who are so quick to condemn Israel for the manner in which they respond to deliberate terrorists attacks on their civilians. I acknowledge that Palestinian civilians have been killed during the Intafada, and it is unfortunate, because they are caught in the crossfire of a war waged by the inhumane militants that hide behind them. If you condemn Israel for retaliating against specific terrorist targets with the knowledge that civilians are deliberately placed in harms way, I ask you and others honest questions...

How is Israel supposed to respond when hundreds of rockets are being fired on their civilians?

Is the IDF supposed to sit idly by while terror rains on the Israeli population, because militants use human shields and hide weaponry in schools, mosques, and hospitals?

How do you HONESTLY believe another western nation would respond in similar circumstances?

I would agree that any civilian death is awful, but going back and forth, tit for tat (especially when Israel has a modern and extremely powerful military) solves nothing. Why don't we address the fact as to why rockets are launched? the illegal occupation of Palestinian lands would be why. Israel needs to retreat back in to its legal borders, leave the West bank and east Jerusalem in adherence to international law....the occupation of lands and subjugation of a people will naturally only result in resistance by said people. It is not a difficult concept to understand.

I absolutely agree that the never ending cycle of violence must stop. I believe that a viable, enduring, peace agreement must be negotiated by both parties diplomatically. It would also help if the Palestinian governing bodies of Gaza and the West Bank were unified in their ambitions. The PLO wants 1967 borders, and Hamas doesn't support the existence of an Israeli state, period. It's difficult to negotiate in good faith under those circumstances is it not?
