If you are trying to get the attention of Israel infatuated christians.... forget it. It wont work. They are absolutely convinced that the modern day state of Israel is in fact the Old Testament era Israel that they read about in their bibles.
They believe that Israels return in its current form was all prophecized.

I've seen that video. But, the israeli people aren't driving policy. the government is the bad actor here. yes, israeli citizens are the boots on the ground(all israelis have to serve 2 years in IDF I think) but it'sa not the israeli citizens who get the US govt to cough up billions, or order false-flag terrorism. the government should be the focus, even if some citizens are doing bad things too(looking at you settlers in occupied territories).

If you are saying that the Israeli government is the main problem when it comes to the persecution of the Palestinians I do agree with you.

But...

500 000 Israeli Jews are living on land that the whole world and even the Israeli government (at some level) recognises as Palestinian.

Now, did the Israeli government hold a gun to the head of each of those Israeli Jews and force them to "occupy" Palestinian land?

They had and still have the notion that the land was promised to them by God.So that is why they think it is their land and palestinians need to get out( it was promised to Abraham,read your bible).So they take it over by millitary force it makes it theirs. They had better weapons to do it too. I dont know what country you are from but if someone invaded your land saying it is theirs you wouldnt like it. So might is right in your eyes, the guy with the bigger gun takes what he wants like every empire past or present, how barbaric. It was promised to Abraham...but it does NOT necassarily mean the jews. If you know your bible, the jews were just ONE religious group who came from Abraham.

Also, if you know your bible, you would know that the word jew itself is derived from a great grandson of Abraham called Judah. (Abraham > Isaac > Jacob > Judah)
So it is clear that there were no "jews" (or muslims or christians) involved when the original promise was made to Abraham. The promise to the land was bloodline based.

Half of Abrahams progeny became muslims through Ishmael. Another portion of the original "Israelites" became muslims. (Look up "pashtun + Israelites" on google)
So to say that only "jews" are entitled to that land is not only false, it goes against the bible itself.

Fair enough. In that case, I can't think of a single sovereign nation in the world today that is represented by a government that isn't corrupt to some extent.

I haven't condoned all the actions of the Israeli government in the past, but to be quite honest, I also think the Israeli government is unfairly chastised compared to other government regimes in the world today. Israel builds settlements in disputed territory and it causes reverberations across the globe. Meanwhile, there are totalinarian regimes and military dicatorships in South America, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia with a deplorable record of human rights, that commit vile acts of mass genocide, and yet most people are apathetic.

I acknowledge that Palestinian and Lebanese casualties have unfortunately taken taken place as a result of the Intafada. However, the fact of the matter is, whether you feel Israel's responses have been measured or not, Israel has always acted in self defence in retaliation to terrorist attacks. Terrorists are the the most difficult type of enemy to combat, because ciivilian casualties on both sides of the equation are part of their strategy. Israel has never deliberately targeted civilians. Many corrupt regimes around the world today murder civilians without provocation to serve their own interests.

I wonder how the government of a Western power would respond if native terrorist groups started firing rockets on their civilians.

A lot of posters on here who criticise zionist policies DO feel sorry for ordinary Jews caught up in the crossfire.

I've said it I don't know how many times, but still I am decried as anti Jewish .... it's truly amazing how stupid some people are.

And there are many many real Jews opposed to zionist policies for that very same reason. I'm not Jewish but I completely empathise with them.

My stance is that the zionist agenda is nothing but bad news for Jews and they will come eventually to regret the actions of their criminal leaders. I think many of them are already regretting what has happened.

I respect your opinion, but my post was not directed at you or anyone who shares your sentiments. My post was directed at the disturbing number of people on this site that are genuinely antisemitic.

I also don't agree with your assessment that the Israeli government is criminal. See my post above. If there is a secret agenda at play, then the leadership of Israel (by way of the democratic electoral process), would also be a victim of circumstance.
